"I order Chaiiwala a couple of months ago to my workplace for breakfast and what a great decision that was. I ordered the full desk breakfast which contained an omelette in which I opted for cheese, chilli and onion in it, paratha, beans, daal and chana masala served with a j2o the price point I believe was around £12.50 with all the extras added in. Everything was beautiful especially the daal, so smooth and moreish. It is quite pricey for what it is but it is desi food cooked well and very very filling so definitely a nice treat. Would definitely recommend, as a side note the aloo paratha is gorgeous. All ok but not breathtaking."

"We ordered takeout from this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our food was ready on a busy Friday night. The restaurant was nearly full, which indicated to us that it was a popular spot for dining. Our meal was delicious and the service was friendly. I highly recommend trying the lamb rogan josh. We will definitely be returning to dine in again."

"Just like the other Wetherspoon locations across the country, this restaurant features a spacious layout with a bar in the middle and plenty of tables and chairs for 2 or 4 people."

"For a starter, I chose popadoms with mango dip, which was a perfect choice. Unlike many restaurants that serve popadoms cold and soggy, this restaurant offered them warm and crispy, making for a delightful beginning to our meal. One aspect that could use improvement was the curry that other family members ordered—it had more of a soup-like consistency, though it was still tasty. However, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, and the service was efficient. I truly hope this restaurant receives more positive reviews because it deserves recognition for its quality. Sincerely, the Nash family. P.S.: This hotel is definitely worth a visit!"

"beautifully decorated and good ambiente, tee was fantastic, each table separated gives them a little more protection against coviding and decent private sphere aswell. it was a bit busy Wednesday night, but free seats were available. free parking on the street. does not have much to do with the staff, so do not know how good they are to order tee was ok experience."

"I went to a restaurant that had a vegan section on the menu, so I thought ordering would be easy. The menu also listed allergens, making it simple to identify vegan options. Most of the staff were unsure about what vegan meant, except for one who had to be called out to help me. I was told not to use the buffet because utensils could be mixed up with non-vegan items. When I ordered from the menu, I received a message from the kitchen saying that the dishes labeled as vegan were not actually vegan. I had to point out the vegan options on the menu again. Despite the confusion, the food was tasty, especially the chapattis, but the portions were small. The salad was missing, possibly because they thought it wasn't vegan."
"This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in London! They serve authentic Indian cuisine and the staff is incredibly friendly. It became a tradition for us to visit this restaurant after every salon visit until we moved away from London. I haven't been back in a while and I really miss their food! The chicken tikka starter is absolutely amazing. I recommend ordering the Chicken tikka, Chicken xacuti, naan/roti, Chicken lamb biryani, Lassi, and raita."

"We like Vermillion a lot. We have been going there for years and the quality has been consistently high. The environment is nice and the waiters always very kind. We have found that the temperature of the room tends to be a little on the cold side, mostly in contrast with the softness of the carpet and the colors chosen for the walls, but this is just a matter of personal taste. Food is consistently very good. Prices are noticeably higher than other Indian takeaways in the surroundings but the cost seems more than justified by the tastiness of the food and the experience of dining-in. I usually enjoy large portions. I like that in the case of Vermillion they are manageable: they are large enough to satisfy me but not too large that I would be able to eat only 1 thing. Most recipes are in fact very rich with cream and sauces. Tonight we tried to share a starter of prawns (really good) and 1 main of lamb to be able to taste 4 different vegetarian sides. We loved the variety, flavour texture of each course."

"On arrival we were warmly greeted and seated straight away. Our drinks order was taken and these arrived quickly, we were also able to order poppadoms and pickles whilst deciding on what to eat. If I was to have one slight issue, and this is a common problem with many restaurants, it would be that the soft drinks range should be just as extensive as the alcohol range etc. and of similar size ranges, not just tiny little bottles. As our group had not met up for some considerable time we did take quite a while before placing our main food order, but this was not a problem for the staff as they were available when we required them but they remained in the background and were not pushy or overbearing in trying to get us to place our order. The food menu was wide ranging and well explained, the staff were also more than willing to alter dishes to accommodate dietary requirements where possible and were knowledgable about the ingredients of each dish. The quality of the food was very good and it was evident that care and attention had been put into each and every dish that we had. The food was well presented and portion sizes were plentiful, certainly everyone was very well fed. After our main course was cleared we were provided with hot towels to freshen our hands, and with out bill we received chocolates for everyone. A good time was definitely had by everyone. I thank all the staff at the Joy Raj for a great evening out."

"After a few years, I am pleased to say that the food quality at this restaurant is still quite good. I give it a full mark for consistency. The menu offers a simple mix of traditional favorites and specialty dishes. We tried the fried fish tendon and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable, given the current circumstances. Overall, we left satisfied and felt that our money was well spent. I would definitely recommend this place to those looking for a change from the usual Punjabi or Dosa dishes. Keep in mind that the seating is limited, so it might be a good idea to call ahead on busy days."

"Worst take away.. Easily the worst food i've ever tasted. When it arrived after booking it through the website) it was were midly warm with the meat inside utterly cold. I know it not just down to the delivery taking ages as the chicken was pink in places The Green chilli pakora which I was looking forward to most came, cold, soggy and not hot hot hot' in the slightest as advertised I heated some of the other dishes up at home but quality wise it was just poor. I also wonder how much salt was in the dishes as I was constantly up through the night drinking glasses of water I wont be eating from or any of the ashoka restaurant again. There is far too many great indian...read more"

"bland, rubbery, overpriced and rude. I couldn't pay back. tonight with two friends and what a huge mistake was when they were the rich glassgow in the type of indians, let alone restaurants we went in a few minutes behind six, not expected to the pre-theater menu (which ends at 6! which show they know that this is around 6 o'clock?! time to close) but we sat and gave the appetizer menu anyway. After we sat for good 10 minutes, we had decided to eat before a very diligent and rude fellow worker (I think he had a bart) came and the menus from our hands chased and told us that we were next to the...read more"

"We had a lovely lunch today, trying five different dishes among our group of five, and we enjoyed each one! The restaurant was immaculate, especially considering its location on Soho Street. Even the restroom was impressive! It's clear that they take great care of the establishment, and I hope they continue to maintain this level of cleanliness. The customer service was also very friendly—service with a smile! We will definitely be coming back!"

"we had a lunch from this wonderful new restaurant. our mealtimes had high quality ingredients prepared with skills. the portions were generous and there was a suitable ratio of meat to carbs, which meant that the chef had not tried to approve by placing on the meat. the most interesting thing about our meal was that it was quite fragrant: when we opened the box, the fragrant rosewater-infused biryani filled our dining room (think the maximum strength Turkish joy). in that I still have his taste in my mouth. the only disadvantage is that the parking situation can make it a bit difficult to collect a meal."

"We had a lovely fish and chip dinner from here, we were staying nearby so took it back with us. The chips were delicious and the fish was fresh. You can choose a large or medium cod, I had the medium and my husband had the large, but I think I could have managed the large fish too, the medium was quite small. The batter was very light and tasty, not thick and greasy. We hadn't got any vinegar or ketchup at our apartment (holiday rental) and they very generously provided all the vinegar and sauce sachets we could need. It was freshly cooked, so we didn't mind waiting for it and it was worth waiting for. We wouldn't hesitate to buy our fish chips from here again."
