"at the arrival we were warmly welcomed and sitting immediately. our beverage order was accepted and these came fast, we could also order poppadome and pickel while we decide what to eat. if I should have a small problem, and this is a common problem with many restaurants, it would be that the soft drinks range should be as extensive as the alcohol range etc. and similar size ranges, not only tiny small bottles. since our fraction had not met for some time, we took a whole past before the placement of our main food order, but this was not a problem for the personal, as they were available when we needed it, but they stayed in the background and were not pushy or overlaid to make us place our order. the menu was wide and well explained, the staff was also more than willing to change dishes to meet the nutritional requirements where possible and were known about the ingredients of each plate. the quality of eating was very good and it was obvious that care and attention were placed in each and every dish we had. the food was well presented and in portions were plentiful, surely everyone was very well fed. After our main course was clear, we were provided with hot towels to refresh our hands, and with the bill we received for each chocolate. a good time was definitiv from all. I thank all the coworkers of joy raj for a great evening."

First time I have used Joy Raj. I ordered 2 medium curries there was very little spice in either defo mild curry so on that basis I wouldn't order again!

Very rude delivery man. He wouldn't get out of his car to buzz in the flat. After a missed call, I walked outside within 2 mins, and he was very rude. It used to be one of my favourite Indian places in town, but this ruined it for me.

my father, my friend and I visited the joy raj for a late night indian last night and was very satisfied! the service was amazing and eating even better. if they are looking for a delicious curry, then they must visit this place! can not wait to return!

This place was recommended to us on a recent visit to Clifton when we visited Bristol. We were not disappointed! Delicious food from a wide ranging menu, we did have to ask one of the waiters for a suggestion and they were most helpful the chicken Hunza, a very different but tasty dish!. We will definitely be back!
