"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Ordered 2 salad boxes at a cost of £15! Asked for extra ham and extra cheese came with 3 small pieces of something pretending to be ham and small scoop of cheese The other was to be a tuna extra tuna and cheese salad extra cheese and salad cream (came with no cheese or tomato or salad cream) Basically a can of tuna on a bed of lettuce Took an hour to arrive and was terrible! Rang the shop to try and sort it out for 30 minutes and no one picked up Pathetic service and pathetic food I do have pics but doesn't appear to be an option to share. Won't be using again"

"We had a great family meal here today with our toddler. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I asked for some cucumber with my daughter's meal, which I was happy to pay for, but they added it at no extra charge. Was also pleasantly surprised that meals for under fives are free with an adult meal. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! Glad to see the pub open and busy again, and with such a warm atmosphere. Vegetarian options: A great veggie and vegan menu with way more choices than most pubs. Not just your standard veggie burger or sausages. My partner had a three bean chilli and I had a veggie stir-fry. Both were really good and big portions too! Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly. A spotless highchair was provided and all the staff were lovely with our daughter. It was also free for her to eat with one adult meal so that was a great bonus. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"This pub is absolutely stunning. They have 10 authentic ales on tap and also offer food. The outdoor seating is beautiful and inviting. They have specials on Tuesdays and serve breakfast from 10-11:30. The pub supposedly home to two ghosts, adding to its charm. The staff is kind and welcoming."

"As a huge fan of Yorkshire pudding I was quite excited when I saw what was in the window, gorgeous roast meats and yorkshires. I had a Yorkshire wrap and asked for pork only. I asked for a side of roasters and a small gravy....I expected this to be served on a plate but alas not, the wrap was served in a piece of grease proof paper and the roasters in a drinks takeaway cup. We took our food upstairs, (not the cleanest) and I unwrapped the wrap, this was not only pork, in fact! The pork was negligible, it had veg in there when I had asked for meat only. I had to eat it with a knife and fork on the paper on the tray. Not the best experience. Just a glorified fast food restaurant."

"The sandwiches at this restaurant are amazing! I treated myself to lunch here the day after trying it for the first time. While there are only a few stools inside, the specialty here is their super delicious sandwiches to go. They offer a variety of bread options such as baguette, white bread, brown bread, focaccia, ciabatta, or flatbread. You can choose from cold or hot fillings, as well as a variety of sauces. My favorites are the bree and speck with cranberry sauce or the tuna, mozzarella, and pickled onion sandwiches, both of which are delicious! They also offer hot options for those who aren't in the mood for sandwiches, along with a selection of drinks. The restaurant can get busy, but the queue moves quickly and the staff is always friendly."

"WOW the yorkshire pudding wrap was amazing, we got the Turkey Ham Yorkshire Pudding wrap with stuffing, roast potatoes, veggies, gravy and cranberry sauce. As well as the Beef Roast Dinner which came in a giant Yorkshire pudding. Wow. This was insane too! And we went on a glorious day and sat outside and enjoyed this in the sun it was all just perfect!"

"Walked in at 19:14, got drinks and menus, and then told us we had 5 minutes to order if we wanted food. The creamy mushrooms were watery and luke warm. Hallumi bites were OK, and the chicken wings were good. Mains The rib eye was more medium rare than medium well, no steak knife, but it wasn't needed. Tomatoes were raw but had a black middle as if they had cooked it. Chicken burger was solid. I could have used a hacksaw to find the dried chicken inside. The chicken curry was bland and watery. Poor choice of non alcoholic beers. Monday night is folk night, and the calming music calmed the savage breast after that burger. I don't like leaving reviews that are not glowing, it is a good pub that could be great with a bit of attention to detail in the food you serve."

"I’ve been coming to the Eastern Eye for over 15 years and Chef Murali has always stood out as being authentic and warm hearted. It was only when I returned from my first trip to India that I realised Chef Murali’s cooking was sharing the genuine taste of Indian cuisine. The Eastern Eye went one step further to provide me with 100% confidence they can entertain from an intimate setting to a full on traditional 50th birthday celebration party setting, for 40 of my friends. Chef Murali again demonstrated his skill and generosity in providing a buffet at the same quality as the a la carte restaurant menu. My house favourite dish is the Kerala Vegetable Curry and although I’ve never experienced the delights of a DOSA, the Eastern Eye is one of the only places in Brighton and Hove that offers this Indian delicacy. The Eastern Eye is one of Brighton’s most delicious Indian eateries and is sported by its minimal and stylish 1980's decor. It’s a family run restaurant and has always delivered on its promise of real spices that warm your belly :"

"Absolutely the best. I am gluten free and I can get gravy here as well as my meat and veg. Today we visited Shrewsbury and believe me they have lots of places to eat but as soon as I saw The York Roast Company was there all others faded. Excellent value for money, excellant staff."

"The concept of this restaurant is excellent, offering a variety of delicious roast meats. It is a refreshing change from the typical chain restaurant experience. However, the execution of the menu falls short of expectations."
