"We had a great family meal here today with our toddler. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I asked for some cucumber with my daughter's meal, which I was happy to pay for, but they added it at no extra charge. Was also pleasantly surprised that meals for under fives are free with an adult meal. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! Glad to see the pub open and busy again, and with such a warm atmosphere. Vegetarian options: A great veggie and vegan menu with way more choices than most pubs. Not just your standard veggie burger or sausages. My partner had a three bean chilli and I had a veggie stir-fry. Both were really good and big portions too! Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly. A spotless highchair was provided and all the staff were lovely with our daughter. It was also free for her to eat with one adult meal so that was a great bonus. The Westbourne used to be a quiet, dark, slightly scruffy affair until it had a facelift a few years ago.

I went for Sunday lunch here with my family and we were all really impressed. The portions were big, and very tasty. My mum got the vegetarian nut roast, which looked nice she had Yorkshire pudding some things I couldn’t have. The vegan roast came with two veggie burger patties which was actually really nice, despite not being a typical roast item.

Arrived for Sunday lunch slightly early but was met with a warm welcome. Even though early a table was arranged almost immediately A choice of Beef, chicken or 3 type of pork, we both went for the beef. After a short wait our meal arrived, our plate had 2 large slices of tender beef with Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, roast parsnip, roast carrots and roast potatoes. Then came 2 turrines with peas, cabbage, swede and carrots plus a gravy boat of delicious gravy. The staff were warm and friendly even though they were very busy This was our first visit to the Westbourne but it certainly won’t be our last. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed 10/10
