"when I went here (if I remember correctly, I had the chickenburger and Peri-Perio nuts: the nuts were a bit too spicy for me, but I had the people I could share with them so everything was in order. the service was okay. I found it expensive for a person on a budget. but eating was good! that's probably expected. the decorations were good. "had a nice evening here last night. we thank them for a last minute reservation. we had a few cocktails here that were amazing and all made to order, followed by a glass fizz that was also beautiful. I liked to eat the sound of garnis and asparagus risotto, but after laughing instead of prawns asked that the chef amazingly did it was full of taste. my partner had the burger and really enjoyed it. for the desert, they must try the choc orange cheesecake was devine, and did real efforts with the presentation of the food. super friendly staff and the decor is beautiful with a cozy modern atmosphere, thank you."

"Overall, the food at this restaurant was good but was unfortunately overshadowed by the poor service and inconsistent food delivery. Several dishes arrived cold, leaving at least one person in our party waiting for their meal while others were already eating. There was also a mix-up with one order, resulting in beef being served instead of pork. These issues could be easily resolved with better training for staff, improved kitchen control, and more attention to cooking times. As a result, I would not recommend visiting this restaurant."

"Upon entering we were seated amongst tables full with family members shouting over each other so me and my partner were unable to talk much as we couldn’t hear. We were then given a menu which was only a small selection of food and no where on the website said it was going to be a set dinner. We then ordered our food which took forever to turn up and our drinks had been forgotten about. Our starters arrived after mins and they were small but nice. I ordered a steak and my partner ordered the fish, we were given a bowl of veg and potatoes to share when it stated that our meals came with potatoes and veg not to share and then they charged us I couldn’t believe it!! The food was lovely but the overall experience and price was a massive let down for New Year’s Eve."

"Bao buns cost £2 each!!?? They are tiny and the bao which is supposed to be feather soft is hard around the edges. All the food is pre packaged and doesn't feel at all fresh. Flavour is lacking you need to douse the food in sauces afterwards to make it vaguely acceptable. It feels like a badly run school canteen. Staff were not friendly they seemed bored and tired. Toilet is the worst part. It is absolutely filthy. Vile. It is also shared, I can't imagine any woman being able to sit on the seat covered in various liquids and soggy toilet paper without being sick or getting some kind of disease. Really really disappointed will never be going to itsu again."

"Came here for a fast cheap lunch, far exceeded my expectations. I had the Korean stir fry noodles (some vegan noodles and they were amazing, but I don't think that part was big enough for the £6.99 price tag. The food was customizable, you had many options for additional secondary dishes such as meatballs or chicken. Service was great, I had prepared my order in a few minutes. The restaurant was clean, toilets also and what surprised me most is the possibility to fill your water bottle for free. Also self service is available, very useful for people like me who do not know what to order. In any case recommend :"

"The food was great but when we arrived they had no record of our reservation. When they eventually sat us, we were then ignored for 30 mins before someone finally took our order. Then the food came out basically one thing at a time. They also forgot to bring us some of the food we ordered and we had to ask them where it was multiple times, before someone finally brought it to us. Also it was difficult to get any drinks after our initial order because it was difficult to get the attention of any of the staff. Our reservation was meant to be at 8pm. We didn't receive any food until about 9.15pm and we did not finish eating until about 10.30. This was much too late and we were all pretty tired by the time we finally got back. As I said the food was great, and I have eaten in this restaurant before without any problems, I'm not sure why it was so difficult this time."

"I love Carribean food and this is by far the best I've had in Manchester. Lovely decor inside the small, quaint restaurant. We had the jerk chicken and the curry goat. The curry goat was sensational and really delicious with a side of macaroni cheese. The dumplings were crisp and the plantain was fresh. The service was excellent and the team working were lovely. We were served by Harrison, Phoebe and Lily and they were all really attentive, they helped make the meal a really special one. The portion sizes were excellent and it is great value for money. I plan on making a monthly trip to this restaurant! I've lived in Manchester for 2 years now and this is by far the best food I have eaten throughout all of Manchester. Highly recommend."

"visited rasa sayang on bank holiday may day. I've always been a frequent customer, but unfortunately this is the last one to be threatened. we had imagined the worst server. we wanted to go down, and the orders were taken late when the kitchen was busy. this was understood and she even suggested that it would wait a 10 minutes. After 20 minutes I asked how long we had to wait. she immediately became incredibly defensiw from an unknown ground and told us in uncertain conditions that if we don't like it, we can just walk. She also asked us to talk to the manager. the manager came by and apologized. while he did, she actually had the boldness to inform us loudly, she will not serve us at all. all during another table! the table next to it was also appalled by its unbelievably rude behavior. to the credit of the manager he apologized in their name and sent them up and we got another server instead. Unfortunately, eating is also disappointing. the chicken rice tasted definitiw as old rice. it was no longer fluffy, and the rice was actually hard and crispy on places. that was a devastating experience in rasa sayang. sad to say they have lost a loyal customer. would give me this 0 stars if I could."

"Tonight in Alaturka Doner Coventry. I had the chicken burger for the first time in the restaurant. The food was delivered quickly to the table and the staff was friendly to create conversations and really took care of the quality of food and customer service, and therefore from my experience I appreciate it very high. In terms of food, the chicken burger was amazing and surprised me. The chicken was well cooked and was full of taste. The bungalow was soft at the top, middle and bottom and seemed somehow roasted. Therefore, there is a crispy texture that adds to the taste along the chicken. I see a couple with two children, and saw how the staff asked them if their meal would be okay if there was something they could do and showed real passion for the experience they offer in food quality and also customer service. Then I saw that the owner came by to say hello, and with the couple, and also gave the children toys. My first experience with Alaturka Doner Coventry was amazing and I would highly recommend this is the reason for 5 stars to close if you are looking for something new to eat, or a new type of food with a swirl, then Alaturka Doner is the place to determine your interest. In addition, it is a great place to take the children with a pleasant atmosphere."

"I have tried several of the noodle boxes to take away the honey lemon grass chicken with shredded lettuce, cucumber, red chill and coriander is lovely. It gets very busy at lunchtime. The only downside is the woman server who never, ever cracks a smile, and the only thing she ever says is to sell you a drink, too. Rest of the staff are friendly."
