"visited rasa sayang on bank holiday may day. I've always been a frequent customer, but unfortunately this is the last one to be threatened. we had imagined the worst server. we wanted to go down, and the orders were taken late when the kitchen was busy. this was understood and she even suggested that it would wait a 10 minutes. After 20 minutes I asked how long we had to wait. she immediately became incredibly defensiw from an unknown ground and told us in uncertain conditions that if we don't like it, we can just walk. She also asked us to talk to the manager. the manager came by and apologized. while he did, she actually had the boldness to inform us loudly, she will not serve us at all. all during another table! the table next to it was also appalled by its unbelievably rude behavior. to the credit of the manager he apologized in their name and sent them up and we got another server instead. Unfortunately, eating is also disappointing. the chicken rice tasted definitiw as old rice. it was no longer fluffy, and the rice was actually hard and crispy on places. that was a devastating experience in rasa sayang. sad to say they have lost a loyal customer. would give me this 0 stars if I could."

Great authentic Chinese food. The satay was particularly lovely with a hot peanut sauce. The Chicken Rice was not quite as authentic but delicious. If you want good Chinese food this is a must!

love eating here. my favourite dishes are hainanese chicken rice, grill plate for two, chicken wings, roti-chaana and vegan char kway teow nudeln. the service is in order and the price has increased, but it is worth visiting for a date and nice eating.

Visited with wife on a weekday and managed to squeeze in just before mid-day closing at 14.30. We had Chicken Rice and steamed broccoli. Bith dishes were very good and tasted almost genuine. The rice was however not as good as the rice you get...at a proper Singaporean hawker stall. But still a very nice meal.

I've been here before almost over three years ago, I think, and it was chaotic and okay. Recently, a Malay friend insisted we go there to celebrate Chinese New Year. Initially, when she mentioned the place, I knew I had heard of it but didn't...put it in the same place in China Town. I was not disappointed. The service was efficient and friendly, and the food also was delicious. So much so, I felt I had found my new little joint to frequent when I go to Soho as my regular Chinese place over the years has lost its quality and to the point, it changed hands under new management, and I was unable even to entertain the idea of giving a try. The place was dead, soulless, and the waitress useless....

This was the third time I've visited and by far the most exceptional experience I've had to date. We were a fairly large group of 10 and only had to wait a few minutes for seating downstairs considering we went at about 4 on a...Friday. The service and staff were impeccable, especially Alice who was lovely and friendly, she helped us choose and recommended some great dishes to try as well as making the experience extremely memorable reminding me of Singapore. The food was outstanding with the Char Kway Teow be my favourite cooked to perfection and the portion sizes being well worth the price.
