"The day of the Christmas party, I had called to find something out and the bar manager had told me one of the food we ordered had been swapped out as you guys did not have this which was fine but it would have been nice if we were updated before and given options on what we could have instead. My colleague had asked to see the breakdown receipt and the only reason this was not questioned on the day was because I was not there at that time and was told about this after Christmas. The bar staff were drinking alcohol behind the bar.They did attend to our needs when we asked. When we saw the receipt there was tip that was deducted from our drinks tab, when i asked the question I got 2 reason 1) this was a normal service charge and 2) the normally stop the bar tap from going over this was not told to me when i first got in contact with the sales manager. We had paid £300 for the food and we expected the quality to be better, but it wasn't, going back to the tip when i spoke to the lady she did not apologies and she mentioned how they were disappointed as they did so much for us, yes... but we paid to be at the venue and we are disappointed as well! I sent my feedback to the sales manager and no response back which i thought was very rude and not really good customer service."
