"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant today. The food was served quickly, hot, and topped generously. The vegan options were particularly impressive, allowing you to customize your meal. They offer both pizza and calzones. It has a casual takeaway feel, but it also provides a gourmet dining experience."

"One of our favourite bestest evening out meals in Brighton, Anatolia, St James Street, just one road back from the seafront. Our favourite lamb chops, as always cooked to perfection, don't fret there's vegan options as well, like the aubergine one. Efes Pilsner beer, so much nicer than lager and a bottle of a lovely smooth red recommended by our attentive waiter waitress .. just a great no fuss evening out."

"This place is a Gem !! we loved it ! went on a Sunday early evening , walked in, the atmosphere was jolly, great music brilliant lighting and very polite and welcoming staff. Next the menu...there is nothing you could not like on the menu do to its varied selection. Tapas, Burgers and even curry, we were spoilt for choice. Catered for allergens and Vegans also smaller appetites and the deserts were to die for !! . You can order at the bar or via the table order link, was so easy and of course delicious Thankyou Palleto Lounge. We will be back !"

"As usual the food was superb. Ribs are tender sweet sticky and very tasty. I tried the mango tempura prawn today and it was beautiful as was the snow crab and many other dishes. Highly recommend !!!"

"I went to this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday on a Wednesday at 4:30 PM. As expected, the restaurant was quiet, but the waitress was attentive. We arrived during happy hour and enjoyed the food from the pre-theatre menu. The restaurant started to get busier as a live band playing Cuban music began at around 7:30 PM, even singing "Happy Birthday" in Spanish! We had a lot of food and drinks for four adults over five hours, and the total bill came to £150, which I found to be reasonable for Central London. The Waterloo branch of the restaurant is also good."

"I haven’t been to the Golden Hind for a couple of years. It’s still great fish and chips. The menu is much larger, so it’s not quite the local chippy anymore. However, my vegetarian friend loved the non-fish menu and had the deep fried mozzarella. The prices have increased a lot, but fish is more expensive everywhere. Service was friendly and helpful."

"Some days ago, my mother and I dined at Zizzi’s to celebrate her recent career progression. We arrived without prior booking at 5:50pm on a Monday evening, at which point it was quiet and cavernous, with a choice of seating. We ordered the mozzarella garlic bread and fried calamari with aioli, drizzled with lemon for starters, to share. They both arrived promptly and were flavoursome without compromising quantity. Not only, was the mozzarella garlic bread simultaneously crisp yet fluffy, oily and salty, and heated to a pleasant degree. But also, the fried calamari was battered aptly, without sacrificing the quantity of the calamari. Soon after, we were met with our own generous dish of prawn linguini, topped with rocket. The linguini was twirled into a neat formation, with a mix of textures. While, the the tomato sauce was smooth and subtly rich, ample for the multiple hot linguini strips, the shaved courgette added a fine crunch, and the prawns constituted to a meaty density. However, within an hour, the restaurant was almost full, with the multitude of loudening conversations making it difficult to hear. Therefore, I would recommend eating early if you are someone who prefers a quieter experience. Also, although I was a student with a discount card, giving me access to 30% off on that particular instance. It is worthy to note that this is likely to be a somewhat costly evening, if you are someone who will order more than one course, or if you are a family, paying for multiple people."

"Although we didn't have a full meal, we stopped by for drinks at this restaurant. My partner had a cider while I wanted an ale, but there was an issue with the pumps. I ended up getting a lager instead, which was served nice and cold. I was pleased to see they had a water dispenser for customers to use. As we sipped our drinks, we noticed some delicious looking food being served to other customers."

"Nothing beats the romantic appeal of having a meal by the riverside, especially in beautiful Richmond. The weather was perfect, warm summer evening with tasty food, relaxed atmosphere and watching sunset reflection on Thames river. I've had a very satisfying grilled chicken and avocado salad, along with good service buzzing around due to rapid customer gathering. The brasserie boasts some stylish, art deco interiors with bar as the centrepiece. Warmly recommended."

"Now, about the chicken—it’s wonderfully roasted to perfection and literally melts in your mouth. I can’t emphasize enough how disappointing Nando's tastes in comparison. As for the sides, there’s definitely room for improvement in the chicken department. Both the fries and the corn were delicious, but I think a wider variety of sides would enhance the meal even more. Finally, the house sauce comes highly recommended for chili lovers and smoky BBQ fans alike—it’s the perfect companion to the mouthwatering chicken. You absolutely have to try it! Overall, I’d give it an 8.5/10."

"This is the second time we've visited the Standard. The first time was lovely so we took different friends again. Second visit not so enjoyable. The food is good, no complaints there and the service is also good. But they have a bar which is in the same area as the table for dining. There is also some couches in the window for people to sit and drink. There was a large party of very noisy women standing at the bar. They did not eat. The music was extremely loud. The door kept getting left open by customers and one of us had to keep getting up and closing it, the staff didn't seem to notice. Perhaps get a self closing returner on the door? Our table was right next to the bar (the only other tables that seated 4 were by the toilets! . The room is very dark, but the waitress was very accommodating and turned the lights up for us so we could see the menu! We seemed to be the only people all night who were actually eating. It was extremely difficult to have a conversation and we were shouting at each other all evening which was not very relaxing. I think The Standard need to decide whether they want to be a bar with loud music and drinking, or a restaurant, but it is too small to be both. It is probably fine for a lunch time meal but not the evening. Suffice to say we won't be returning on a Saturday night, which is a shame because the food is really good."

"Staff Were very Friendly Service was Good, Nice Environment/Atmosphere Food was Delicious however was a bit of A mix up. Me and my Partner Are Veggie/Vegan, I was ordering starters that didn’t have meat but asking for the vegan version anyway just to make myself clear (to avoid a mix up) We ordered vegan pizza, and vegan pasta For mains Though when I Ordered I don’t think I Asked for the pasta to be vegan, but assumed cause everything else was she would put it through The till as vegan It came out and bf tried it first and instantly knew it was real Chicken, we did ask just to clarify if it was and what had happened regarding the mix up, and me And the waitress who was super nice agreed it was both of our fault, she did say she would replace it and get a new one made but I didn’t like to see food go to waste and having worked in restaurants kinda knew it Was just go in the bin, so we just ate it Everything else was great and as I Say the mix up Was my fault so "

"After booking 6 or more weeks ago for a family dinner for my boyfriends 21st I am totally appalled by the service we had experienced. When we arrived, the table was not even laid out. We had made several complaints due to it being so cold where we was seated and due to the fact we had a newborn baby and a 4 year old. When the drinks orders had come out, these were completely messed up and had to chase up the correct drinks. When our starters arrived, after having to chasing up bread and dips also, we requested the 4 year olds children’s meal to be brought out with starters which this never happened, after being chased up we recieved nothing. She was starving. After 2 hours waiting for simply our main meals, we had been told there has been some confusion with orders and was given 2 meals that belonged from the table behind. We didn’t think anything of this before we was told and they started eating. They had then finished both meals and we was still waiting. We was totally disappointed and had totally ruined our 21st birthday celebrations."

"We booked 3 nights using Tesco vouchers (for the last time the offer is not so good now). At first we were quite disappointed. There had been a few issues regarding staff illness and a boiler breakdown and the room did seem a little underwhelming. But the place grew on us. We had booked partly to visit a relative and partly to carry on our tour of English Cathedrals. We had gone to the Peterborough Cathedral Easter Day service on the drive up from Kent and later in the trip called in at Lincoln and Southwell. We had intended to take in Leicester Cathedral but found out that it was shut until the autumn. So we called in at the beautiful Ely on the way home instead. The staff were friendly. The one evening meal we had was very tasty. Breakfasts (eaten in the bar area) were a delight. There is a charming (front room/library area right next to the bar). I have to say the Wi Fi was poor and couldn't really be accessed from our room (Bellagio). The weather was cool but the heater soon made the room snug. Filter coffee was a nice touch. I don't I ever did learn how to pronounce the village like the locals!"

"when a few years ago and thought it was worth visiting again as a family came to visit. while eating was nice, we waited 1 hour for starter (kind meze for a table of two) and another hour for main courses and got them only after we said we wanted to go. Unfortunately we were not the only ones waiting for there were 21 diners in and almost no eating out of the kitchen! no apologise and no discount offered in the did they added a service fee to the bill!"

"After 10 year absence from the restaurant due to shoddy service historically ,we booked to attend the Minnow on mothers day at 5pm. Realising they would be busy, we turned up at 10 to 5. We were told our table was occupied and the people there were paying the bill. 30 minutes later and despite requests for another table, the staff had still not freed up the table and we were forced to leave as our children were absolutely starving with no food in sight. If you allow a booking please allow adequate time so families with young children like us are treated correctly. No apology, no courtesy and definitely no return from us."

"One of THE WORST EXPERIENCES BY FAR of our lives. Took the kids out for lunch. The lounge had at most 15 customers. The FOOD (chicken meals X2) were served with raw chicken on the inside. Both ordered milkshakes were horrendous to say the least. They were warm to taste even after we asked for them to be replaced. They tasted of nothing, no strawberry or vanilla, which even the manager agreed to. The service was NON EXISTENT . Don 't think they know anything about running a restaurant. The server couldn 't understand a word of English, could not explain what he was serving and again 3 times brought someone else 's food to our table. OUR CONCLUSION, NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THIS PLACE AGAIN."

"Red Onion is a wonderful restaurant. A great concept, it caters to a wide array of dietary requirements offering separate vegan, gluten free and dairy free menus. You are not limited to a few options either as each of these menus are full of delicious options. The service is great and personable, the owner checked in with us to ensure that we were enjoying our food and visit. Similarly the ambience is lovely and relaxed and the setup is intimate allowing for a great evening of good food and conversation."
