"When I walked Into the restaurant I noticed the small menu and the ridiculous amount of posters containing ads some inappropriate for young children) after we ordered my friend noticed he had charged me for 2 cheese toasties, we got that sorted out however we then noticed the chef who made my cheese toastie scratched his bum. I don't like to be a Karen but I thought it was ridiculous, so I asked for it done again.so we got our food and sat down to a greasy barley melted cheese toastie, a discussing burger and the saltiest chips ever. After 2 chips the top of my mouth was burning) Not to mention the diet coke way to syrup. Once we had eaten the slop. we went to the bathroom and noticed we needed a code from the recite which we binned and the worker wouldn't let us in after we explained. Usually I don't write a review but I felt compelled to warn whoever is reading this review and I hope you find my review helpful PS: I forgot to say how expensive this meal was £25) which is is unbelievable fr a bag of chips, a burger, a cheese toastie and two SMALL drinks."

"five youngs is a fantastic place to eat while it can be expensive, eating is worth definitiw, by far and away miles better then mcdonald’s. the personal is super helpful and always ensures that the place looks clean, the staff who prepare the food, make sure that the gloves are changed regularly and if necessary. the food was prepared very quickly and packed in the typical five youngs fashion, burger in foil. the portions of the chips are huge, the pocket fill!"

"I don’t really like poutine or cheese with chips and a sauce but I make an exception for Pasha! Their chips with cheese and curry sauce is AMAZING, probably due to how good their curry sauce. It isn’t runny or watery like most, it’s thick...and so flavourful. The staff are really nice and they always have great music playing! I was introduced to the Turkish superstar Ido Tatlises while I was in there waiting for my food and I loved the music so much the guy serving wrote down his name for me to take home so I could listen some more! Pasha is a must go in Edinburgh!"

"amazing personal, local pub it seems, although the coworkers and locals all know themselves, dog friendly is always a plus, let me on the fondoood I had no starter, but I had a rump steak it was a medium seldom chef and it was as good as I hoped the chips were good they are more like roast potoatos. they are not traditional chips, but they were still beautiful all in all no complaining and if I did not complain, then it would be good 10/10 for prices and service the personal friendly and were overrun and reworked and despite this still managed to serve us perfectly"

"My first visit to the Nottingham location was unfortunately disappointing. The lady who served me was not very helpful, as I requested a burger meal and she told me they did not offer that option. I eventually figured out the ordering process on my own. I ended up ordering for 2 adults and 2 kids, with the suggestion of getting 2 extra large chips which was far too much food. Additionally, the drink machine was broken, so we did not have any drinks. The total bill came to £60, which was more than expected for the quality of food we received. The worst part was the cleanliness of the restaurant. The tables were dirty and the floor in the toilets was wet with no locks on the cubicle doors. Overall, not a great experience."

"I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. Unlike most fast food restaurants, they cook your meat fresh to order instead of using pre-cooked beef patties. The portions are large, with a generous amount of chips, refillable drinks, and big burgers with a variety of fillings such as mushrooms, onions, sauces, lettuce, and tomatoes. Some may say it is "too expensive", but I strongly disagree. The quality is better than any other restaurant burger I have ever had, and it is actually cheaper than others I have seen. While it may be more expensive than a typical fast food burger, you definitely get what you pay for. I am happy to pay a few extra pounds for better quality, and many others feel the same way."

"Stayed overnight- rooms unclean with rubbish under beds, cobwebs and dirty cups, lipstick on glass tumblers. Had a meal- took over 2 hours to have 3 courses yet restaurant quiet. Starters fine. Mains- not as described on menu, things missing or exchanged without being told (2 people with autism struggled with this) parts of it were clearly previous days leftovers (hard dry Yorkshire puddings, dry turkey). Told staff but they didn’t care and shrugged shoulders- no apology. One main took 10 minutes to arrive after everyone else had been given their food due to incorrect ordering of staff. Had to ask for desserts after 20 minutes of waiting. Staff clearly not happy- slammed plates on table, no proper customer service. Passed hot plates to people without warning causing pain. Held hot soup plates above a young child’s head. Staff vaping in public view. Chewing gum while serving. Completely unprofessional and poor quality. Definitely not worth the amount we paid and feel we’d of had better quality at Wetherspoons for a cheaper price! Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3"

"Having stopped in Bourton on the Water and thought I would grab something to eat to save sorting something out later that evening. Having a quick scan on Tripadvisor I thought I would give Smiths a try. Entering I was given a choice of table so opted for one by the window to watch the world go by! I ordered the Smiths Classic Burger, Truffle and Parmesan Fries and thought I would give the Limoncello Spritz a try. Some reviews on here say that there is a wait for the food to arrive and yes there is and to me that is a good thing. If you have to wait it means that the food you have ordered is cooked freshly for you. The burger was well cooked and flavoursome with just the right amount of extras inside to make it something easy to pick up and eat. The truffle and parmesan fries again were very flavoursome. The Limoncello Spritz has a bold claim on the menu in saying that they make Limoncello better than the Italians but to me personally Sorrento Limoncello is superior but Smiths Spritz is still very drinkable. Family run and friendly had a nice conversation with Seb about other places locally to visit and with mum (sorry I didn’t catch your name) about how they came to Bourton and the history of the tea room to burger restaurant change. Yes there is a service charge, yes the mention it when paying and ask if that is ok. To me yes that is fine. Visit other restaurants (not cafes or fast food) and you’ll find that they also charge a service charge. Maybe it should be printed on the menu, maybe it shouldn’t. Everyone has their own opinion. Would I go back again? Would I go with friends? The answer to both of these questions is……. Yes without a doubt!"

"I’ve been good for this beginning of the year, cooking more of meals at home. Yet, one week of eating salads and vegetables I was craving a darn dirty burger. After my haircut at Jones and Paynes I headed up to Bethnal Green road. Dirty Burger is part of the major league Soho House Group It may look like some scruffy old hole in the wall, but that’s the concept. Specialising in burgers three are available, a Cheese Burger, Dirty Bacon and dirty Cop-out. In the mornings you be happy to know you can get bacon egg, and sausage egg rolls with bottomless tea or coffee before 11am. Unwrapping my burger, revealed a soft cushion bun that fit into my hands perfectly. A patty with juices flowing out, and soft molten cheddar, large lettuce leaf and garnished with tomato, gherkins and special mayonnaise. It was arguably a pretty good tasting burger Opting for the Cheese Burger and crinkle cut fries, and a can of soft drink, I waited for my order. There’s limited seating and most people just pop in and out of the place. My order came in a plastic tray, a big bag of crinkle cut chips overflowing out to the tray. My burger wrapped in Dirty Burger branded greaseproof paper."

"Wow what a place! Very cool and different from the local pubs in the area, been here a while and didn't know it existed! Beautiful bar with great interiors and excellent cocktails with amazing service. The cocktail list is not only extensive but reasonably priced too and the happy hour is an amazing deal! Music is also great and lots of comfy places to sit. I just came here with a friend during the week and we were able to have a good catch up but it's definitely a place you could see being busy with lots of dancing in the weekend...we will be back to try it again for sure, need to as good also looked delicious!"

"Where do I Start. First of all the room was grimy and tired. Everything really could of done with a good deep clean and a new lick of paint. The description on the The Swan Taphouse says open till late and doesn't specify an actual time , but we were informed they were open till twelve at night when we arrived. So there was a consent noise outside the window with the beer garden being directly below. The key we were given was bent and we were instructed to forcefully yank the key out of its lock if it wouldn't come out. The bath only gave out Luke warm water and the water pressure was low. Bed side lights barley worked with the one bulb flickering and some of the plug sockets weren't working. The one member of staff we saw was generally lovely but that was the only member of staff we saw. Now we should of learned from the state of the room that the food wouldn't be up to scratch but we were tired and hungry so we thought we would risk it. I know, that's on us! We waited an hour for our food and it arrived cold and bland, surprising really when there was only around 8 people there. Now for the breakfast, when booking at the The swan taphouse you would of thought the breakfast would be served at the place you paid to stay in right? Wrong! It was served at a different pub and that wasn't mentioned when booking the room! There was nobody there in the morning to ask you about your stay as a member of there staff doesn't start till 12pm. We could of questioned it after arriving that day but with so much wrong with the room we dreaded to think what the rest of the rooms were like."

"Came here earlier with my friend. There was no queue, the people working there was nice. HOWEVER if you are a student and want something cheap, this is not the place. I offered to pay for my friend since it was her birthday and for the two of us it came to £38 (rip debit card). The food was so nice, the burger was a bit dry but that’s due to me not asking for ketchup in my burger. It was really nice and there was a calming atmosphere, will probably be back next month xd"

"We went for a bottomless brunch on a Saturday and had a great experience. The food and drinks were delicious, but what really made our visit special was the exceptional service from Rachel and Becky. They were polite, super friendly, and helped create a fantastic atmosphere. The added bonus of mirror balls was a fun touch! Overall, we would highly recommend this place. Food, service, and atmosphere all receive top marks from us. We particularly enjoyed the English Breakfast dish."

"This is probably my tenth visit to this fantastic restaurant in the last six months, and my experience gets better every time. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The food is always excellent—it's just like home to me as an American. I traveled over an hour to get here, and it’s definitely worth it. While it may be on the pricier side, the high-quality food and exceptional service make it a great value. The dining area is always clean, and the restrooms are well-maintained. Plus, there's a soda machine with over 100 different combinations—you can’t go wrong with my favorite, Dr. Pepper! I highly recommend this place for delicious food and consistently fast, friendly service on every visit. Oh, and the portion sizes are huge! A regular size could easily feed two people, and definitely make sure to order the fries—they're amazing! The burgers are also fantastic!"

"A bit shocked today been for Sunday lunch for the first time since take over. Was a bit shocked we were told not booked in but this was not a surprise to the owner as She said she had 15 others that were also booked but not in the book. Agreed to seat us but needed our table back by 5 . Fine this was at 3.30 by 4 had no menu given to us and a young girl said are you ok. We said we had not been given a menu and then got told I will give you a menu but go to the bar and order. No problem. What happened to the Service we used to have. Seemed to me the new owner wanted the customers but with No service. So many girls behind the bar but no personnel service. Every customer that had the Sunday lunch kept asking for more gravy (should tell you something). Lady who had Turkey waited 15 mins to asked a girl for cranberry sauce. Don’t think you have got the customers Off the back of the last owners you should be making sure you do it for yourself, Hope things change and wish you success."

"A lovely pub in the middle of Caldbeck just a stones throw from Glebe Cottage where we stayed. The food is really good, usual pub meals done really well and then some truly excellent Eastern food. I had the dopiaza which was divine and a rather wonderful bean starter which I can't remember the name of. First visit I had the baked camembert with the most amazing garlic side and second visit I had the curry which was just delicious. Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed. Only regret is we didn't eat there more often."

"I had just finished my exam at college and wanted to have a quick bite to eat. I needed the rest room aswell so I ordered a wrapped burger wrapped in lettuce I had loads of stuffs inside like crispy bacon, mushrooms, tomatoe, another patty, cheese, relish, green peppers, tomatoe sauce and bbq sauce too and all this was kept in with the lettuce wrap. Wow. It was super tasty. I also got a cup for bottomless fizzy drinks. Thank goodness I had some serviettes because by the end of the burger it got a little messy but sooo worth it. The place was clean and respectable. The toilets smelt of bleechand looked super clean. Great experience. Thank you 5 guys."
