"I hadn't been out to a pub for a meal in a long time, as many closed during Covid. It was difficult to find a place for a nice pub meal. The Grapes at Ebberston was excellent. The staff was friendly and polite, the food was hot and served quickly, and the prices were reasonable. My party of 2 adults and 1 teen had halloumi fries and chicken wings. The halloumi was delicious, the chicken wings were just okay, but the scampi and homemade chips were delicious. My daughter had fish and ate every bite. We finished with mini egg cheesecake and brownie, both of which were lovely. Overall, it was a great find and we will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff!"

nice little pub. friendly service. battered calamari was very crispy. both the wild and the bark burgers were perfectly cooked with whirl rings, chips, koleslaw and salat. we were too full of dessert.

First visit to The Grapes and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely warm welcome from the landlord. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was terrific!! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend The Grapes to anyone looking for a good quality country inn

immersed in the chance to get a table for an evening meal. the bar staff was very friendly and courteous and brought a bowl of water for our dog. we both ordered starters who were plentiful, hot of good quality, both had served the piece of the day (play) with chips veg, which was again plentiful, hot of good quality. would definitely recommend pre-book as was busy.

Desperate for a breakfast that was much too late even to be called lunch, my starving wife and I swerved off the A170 on the strength of an 'open ' sign that also proclaimed it was dog friendly. We only had a short time in which to refuel, about 30 minutes, and the lovely young lady there rose to the challenge. Our fish goujons sandwich was cooked to perfection, hot, and most of all swiftly served. Thank you!

A group of us (with two dogs) stopped in to get a quick drink. We received a warm welcome from the bar staff and sat in the cosy snug side after ordering drinks at the bar. The drinks were then brought to us, along with water and snacks for the dogs. We didn’t stay to have food as we were short on time, but the food that was brought out to other customers looked delicious, especially a huge portion of fish and chips! The drinks were all good, but they serve a really great Guinness!

Went here today for a meal while visiting the area. Spotted the dog friendly sign from the main road so in we went. Fabulous welcome from the host with dog treats for our 2. Had lovely food. Halloumi starter for both of us, scampi for me with the most amazing chips, chilli for the hubby, then a hot waffle with salted caramel ice cream for me and key lime pie for him. All of the food was superb. The owner could not have been nicer, we will definitely visit again when we are next in the area.

amazing personal, local pub it seems, although the coworkers and locals all know themselves, dog friendly is always a plus, let me on the fondoood I had no starter, but I had a rump steak it was a medium seldom chef and it was as good as I hoped the chips were good they are more like roast potoatos. they are not traditional chips, but they were still beautiful all in all no complaining and if I did not complain, then it would be good 10/10 for prices and service the personal friendly and were overrun and reworked and despite this still managed to serve us perfectly
