"A wonderful place to visit in an idyllic location near the river Dee. We stayed in the area for a few days and went for walks around and a visit to Loch Muick, however the cafe would be well worth the trip from Aberdeen for...the day or as an excuse to stay nearby. The cafe is by a green with swings for children and is dog friendly with ample parking. The staff at Potarch are very welcoming and the service was exemplary. The cafe is a Scottish haven with a cosy interior, lovely decor and beautiful plants. A wood burner in the corner must be ideal on colder days but we were lucky to visit when the weather was warm. The cafe serves local, fresh food and meat from the farm on the estate. The owners clearly care a lot about where they source their food and focus on ensuring top quality ingredients are used to make all of their meals. The food and drink are excellent value and the portions are a very good size. We tried the coffee which was served in beautiful teacups and was delicious. The homemade fish finger sandwich was wonderful and came with pickled cucumber and homemade tartare sauce. The rustic fries went excellent as a side and the bread the fish came in was homemade and very tasty. We also tried the cheese and black pudding toastie which we would highly recommend, the venison burger which was one of the best burgers we’ve ever had and shared the side salad. The salad was wonderful, with fresh leaves, feta and quinoa and came dressed in a lovely dressing. We would definitely go back and wish we lived closer as it would be a frequent place if we did. We look forward to our next trip to Potarch from the south of England."

"Full English was really good 8/10. Was a bit concerned about the lack of beans but it was actually quite nice to not have them. Asked for crispy bacon and got exactly that. Mushrooms were cooked to perfection. Only thing that would have made it better was the tomatoes. They were basically just warm whole cherry tomatoes needed more cooking. Cup of tea was a 5/10. Way too milky, teabag still in, no spoon and cup dirty."

"I loved this place. it's a bit blown around a corner, so I hope people find this place and make the effort to stop. it's just something else. great value for money. they get a lot of food for their money (I refer to the sweet pork with vietnamese pickle . the man who served us was nice and I could say it was his place. I really hope he is successful. my only suggestion for an improvement would be that the soldier was not great. next time I will try the fruits/cuttered: . also this place is a little small, so it could be hard to find a table during the busy hours. when we left, it was good."

"we were too early in herne bay for the movie we visited. so there is a cloudy Thursday evening in herne bay to fill the time. the answer was not much. then the weeping came in. we went to the cellar where he was. the decoration reminded me of my student days in the 1970s. Mis-matched chairs and tables placed tightly under a low deck. it was quite busy looking so promising for a weekday. we were greeted with a cheerful greeting and ordered two glasses by shiraz. the wine was good price and good quality. sitting on a table for two I saw on the food that is served. it looked delicious and made me wish we hadn't already eaten. the weeping and the conversation flew so well that we missed the movie almost!"
"Had a beautiful brunch with my girls before my wedding weekend, and we were treated like queens! The service from Start to finish was amazing, along with the food mimosas! We sat outside and didn’t feel rushed if anything we felt too comfortable. Have been since this weekend and honestly it will always be somewhere I take friends if we want something tasty xxx"

"beautiful place right at the lord street, southport. lunch menu, good choice. also good for afternoon tea. all cheap. very helpful and friendly staff. with the warmer weather on the way, the exterior are an obvious attraction, especially sitting as a sunfall looks! if you want to add a tipp for the provided beautiful service, it must be in cash, as their payment machine cannot add tips. we were unhappy about it today. we will remember the next time that we will go soon!"

"Perfect location for lunch, following our morning walk across the beach. The option of outside tables and chairs allowed us to enjoy the views, and watch all the many dogs being walked through the Stonehaven sea front. The cappuccinos was very good (European style) and the toasted sandwich which was accompanied by very tasty side salad was cooked to perfection. The customer service was excellent, very friendly, and welcoming atmosphere, topped off by the perfect location, I would definitely be back next time we are in town. Highly recommend."

"Great place to stay right in the centre of Knutsford. A really warm welcome from Debbie who was so helpful with parking and taxi recommendations. A nice breakfast hamper provided too in the room next morning as they don’t provide cooked breakfast. Even though it’s on the Main Street it was really quiet at night. Would have been perfect if we could have had a cooked breakfast but would still strongly recommend The Angel. Thank you!"

"I've been eating a couple of lunches today and bought a fresh scrap sandwich and a drink. the choice here is just great and the sandwich was prepared for me while I waited. it was absolutely delicious! here is a fantastic selection of freshly prepared meals. relish also has a seating area and located directly on the road, I don't need an excuse to dive back soon! fantastic. I could resist the fresh cream cake this time, but I don't think I would do it again, it looked amazing! thank you all."

"Really friendly service and some nice vegan options including healthier options such as a superfood salad, and some treats including vegan sausage rolls (very delicious! . Dogs are welcome in the garden and we all really enjoyed our meals. Beautiful setting and decor, with real attention to detail. The cups and saucers are bone China beautiful visual presentation, but not vegan friendly and the majority of the menu is not vegan, but certainly a beautiful environment that offers for plant-based diners."

"Came in for a work birthday. Since we had a wheelchair user in the party, I called first to ask if everything would be accessible for us. The team were so kind to make special arrangements to suit us, we all had no issues sitting down together as a large party. The food went down especially well. We all noted the generous portions and great taste. There is a wonderful selection, catering to all tastes. Since the place has a strong Italian influence, it’s no surprise that the coffee was delicious. They cover all allergens and dietary requirements without exception. One of the best things about coming is being served by Sid. He’s so lively and friendly, and undoubtedly goes the extra mile to make sure everyone’s having a great time. He’s also really funny. Best service and brunch in Glasgow, hands down."

"We kindly asked the staff to close the entrance door because of the freezing temperature and the lady behind the counter refused with the explanation that the Manager ordered the door to be kept opened. Then a male member of staff reminded her that they should close the door in case a customer requests. To our dismay, after few minutes, the Manager arrived and opened the door again. We, kindly, asked if the door could be kept closed because of the very low temperature and the Manager (wearing a jacket while serving, unshaved and looking like a homeless person) arrogantly refused arguing that he needed the door opened to attract customers. Well, you just lost many. The Manager stubbornly refused our pleas and we had nothing else to do but to leave immediately in disgust without finishing our meal. We issued a memo in our company to prevent anyone else to have the same awful experience we had at Blanche. Izabella Silverman"

"eating here is spectacular. had the bbq meat short ribs with the 8oz speck steak and it was stunning. so difficult to choose, though, because all foods looked amazing. the customer service was really good. the atmosphere is really cozy. large selection of ale and wein and the cocktails are on another level. If they have ever been in milford, then they have to try this place. I would come back in a heartbeat so good. price is appropriate for what they get and worth every penny."

"We ended up ordering the only hearty item available: cheese and speck puff pastries, along with a blue beer croissant, a jam doughnut slice, an apricot cake slice, and two "Luxus mega hot chocolates." The pastries were alright, though a bit soggy. The croissant was lovely, the doughnut slice was very sweet, and the apricot cake was quite delicious. We expected the mega hot chocolate to be substantial, but it was served in a regular-sized cup and didn't feel particularly indulgent. In fact, it was probably the worst hot chocolate I've had in a long time—very watery and disappointing. On a brighter note, the café has a large shop offering a wide variety of goods, including chocolates, cookies, crackers, jams, chutneys, and much more. Many products are locally produced. They also sell ceramics and other household items. While most items in the shop are on the pricier side, that was to be expected. Overall, I expected more from the café, especially since I was hoping for a decent breakfast. However, the sweet treats were great, so it wasn't all bad. The shop itself is worth a visit, too."

"Absolute favourite deli in Notting Hill. When I used to work in the area, I went to the deli almost every day for 3yrs. The big breakfast and freshly baked croissants are particular favourites of mine. The food is always freshly made, delicious and their lattes are superb. The deli is split into two parts, one for fresh produce, sandwiches, fruit/veg, hot drinks and the other side is the wine section with seating inside. The bar section takes reservations and it stays open until 10pm Wed Sat. I personally love the outdoor seating area sitting outside with a coffee and a slice of carrot cake in good weather is unbeatable. It does get seriously busy on the weekends with big queues! Saying that, it's worth the wait. It's also in a very trendy part of Notting Hill/Portobello Road. Highly recommended for food and coffee lovers. 10 out of 10."

"It's not a big secret to the people I know that I love bagels. They are the best thing to happen in food since that Sandwich bloke thought of putting two bits of a loaf around some filling. Or sliced bread, if you'd prefer a shorter hyperbolas analogy. Thus as I stumbled home from Shoreditch via Brick Lane in the wee small hours of Monday (I really should take more Mondays off) I did my best moth impression and was drawn to the gleaming yellow lights of this 24 hour emporium of bagel. I have been told of the rivalry between this fine establishment and that of its more illustrious neighbour Beigal Bakes, but this didn't really feature in my mind as I stuck my blurry face into a bagel...read more"

"I was pleasantly surprised by this place, they managed to offer some really high quality vegan options. I tried the hotdog of a day to midday (not available for dinner) that I would come back very much, but I wasn't a big fan of the reserve on him, I would ask for him without when I came back. the baked aubergine that I had another day was a 10/10, really nicely made and many thoughts seem to have been included in it. it is really a meat dominated restaurant, but I came wit my meat eat family. updated by previous review on 20210825"

"there was a time that the lunch consisted of a piece and jam packed in a sunblest bag, a package of smiths salt n shakes and a bottle of tea or a glass bottle ingwer. today's workers have a much wider choice for lunch food. besides all chain-fast food offerings there is this place, various shops that offer a “Meal Deal” and even sushi or a burrito. No, that's lunch whatever you like."

"FLIP served up one of the best vegan roasts I have ever eaten in my life. There were 2 of us and we ordered one portion of the nut roast and one portion of the vegan Wellington dish options and shared them between us. Both were equally tasty and served up with wonderfully roasted potatoes, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage, and Kale, along with a generous jug of gravy. Very decently priced at £11.95/12.95 as the portion sizes were great. We shared a vegan cheese board afterwards on which 5 different cheeses were presented alongside flatbreads, a large portion of chutney and some grapes. The service was brilliant really friendly and helpful people work at Flip. The deli is really well presented and a relaxed and calm environment to dine in. We're definitely coming back! Thank you everyone at Flip Food for a wonderful place to eat vegan."
