"Attended a pre wedding party yesterday evening on August hosted by the Nandas (please check with the host and don’t deny the fact that this party ever happened or I did not attend like you do in response to your other reviews). To start with, horribly slow starter service. For a table service one would expect either the food to be replenished quickly or at least bought out when asked. Here you get a response, “wait, it’s being cooked.” No please, no sorry, in short, no manners. Here’s the real problem though. A restaurant of this size says, we have run out of Chicken Nuggets for kids. Who doesn’t have spare nuggets in the kitchen? And if not, should you not offer more chips instead? Keeping kids hungry is just not done. The mains were just okay quality/quantity wise but nowhere near their restaurant food. We have been to the restaurant many times and hence our expectations were a bit high, probably different chefs for restaurant and parties or whatever. But no complaints in general on mains and desserts. The final nail in the coffin. After dancing, I go to the bar asking for WATER. The very NICE lady says, “we don’t have any water jugs back here.” I ask for TAP WATER instead. She goes, “We don’t have any glasses.” I can clearly see at least crates of nice clean glasses behind the bar. Tired and really thirsty, I go to the other side near the kitchen end asking a waiter for water. Her response is even more alarming. NO WATER IN THE KITCHEN. Even my year old would not buy this answer. I really demand an explanation on the reason for not providing the most basic necessity to your guests. It was at night and did not want to raise it back then at the venue but without any explanation to this, I doubt anyone reading this review will ever want to host a party with Venue unless THE HOSTS ARE READY TO TAKE ABOUT BOTTLES OF LITRE WATER WITH THEM. In a nutshell, Venue did all they could to ruin the evening for the lovely couple.For anyone thinking to host an event here in the future, I am more than happy to come forward and share my experience in more details. YES, there was more than this but not trivial."

"the first time at tapasya. booked for a Monday evening and as expected, and like most restaurants, will always be quiet, but three tables covered such a ' atmosphere', the staff was very attentive and friendly, and eating was really delicious. in contrast to most Indian restaurants, the menu is quite small, so they can make sure that every dish is very good and freshly prepared. the web image is for 'indian fine eating'. yes, it seems safe! I did not taste as good Indian eating as this for a very long time, nor had serviettes placed on my lap in any Indian restaurant! the waitresses simply slide up to their table and fill their drinks without they perceive this. will definitely return in the near future, good things."

"Great menu! Very refreshing and different to the usual North Indian cuisine majority of the British Indian restaurants offer. Definitely try their Indian Chinese starters like chilli chicken, salt pepper prawns, veg manchurian and their cocktails! Natak’s menu beats Dishoom for us ; They have a new and excited team of waiters waitresses who take your eating plates away in a rush so a bit of service awareness missing but otherwise they’re all friendly prompt. Cannot wait to return to try their diverse brunch menu which has dosas etc."

"Not the best experience. No parking to start with. Inconsiderate drivers. Service was overly keen. Kept interrupting our conversation various times asking is everything okay constantly throughout the experience. Manager offered as we walked in some water and poppadoms in a complimentary way. Later to find out he charged us a ridiculous price. Food was very overpriced for the quality. The variety was very limit and the staff didn’t now about the menu when asked questions. The manager was sneaky and added service charge also without asking us or telling. Place is small. Go owl and pussycat if you want good Indian food at a fraction of the price. I wouldn’t recommend unless you into a show room restaurant rather the quality and service. Thumbs down for me over hyped."

"I used to go to this restaurant all the time 15 years ago and convinced many friends to make the trip out here. After ages I thought I would try this place again in August as I was in the area shopping for Asian wedding accessories. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I went into the bathroom to wash my hands prior to eating and ordering and I was just disgusted by the smell. It was like a toilet in India that rarely (if ever gets cleaned . I was so disgusted by the smell just in the sink area I didn't even want to think about how clean the actual toilets were or the kitchen. I also don't know if the staff used the same toilets but if they do I have major concerns about the hygiene levels in this place. I walked out before ordering anything (thank God! . I will never return here again."

"The restaurant was terrible from start to finish. The food was flavourless, presentation poor and was way too over priced. Parts of my Halibut were burnt and other parts undercooked. "It was a bit of a bummer that they were having a deep clean but there was no notice so you only got to know of it after you were seated... One consequence was that the lamb in my biryani was a little under cooked though the taste was very good. It wasn't cheap so It would be so so good, if their communication was clearer and they were a bit more careful in the kitchen. Better to tell a customer to change the order rather than serve undercooked lamb. But I want to say again that the taste was very good I just wished they had been more transparent about my food choice and I also wish they had half plate options for single diners. But all in all I would go again :"

"This was my second visit to PURE in a week. The food here really is outstanding. Full of clear and noticeable flavour and good variety. It is NOT a typical Indian restaurant with a menu longer than a Redwood tree in Yosemite but a thoughtful selection of curries including a Degustation menu for GBP52.00. I have had scallops twice now and my Chef partner and daughter and sister have shared multiple dishes as well. The staff are considerate and professional and VERY keen to please. Good wine selection again and of course suitable beer to accompany anything spicy. Comfortable seating arrangements and clean toilets. I LOVE this place. Small, high level, no nonsense, good simple food done really well. Cant wait to go back!"

"as you all should know, this girl loves to eat her! So I wanted to try something else I didn't have before. so yak yeti was your turn. Now I have no taste at all, but it is a Nepalese restaurant that they use spiced by many species, I guess. but whatever they use is too spicy for me, if I tried to continue, I would later be in jeopardy, because my just don't do spicy food. as a girl who loves to eat, I will not destroy this restaurant just because I cannot tolerate spicy foods. in future I will notify the restaurant to add not seasoned over very mild to future orders. this restaurant has a very good high review online so I encourage them to try it for themselves, just remember that eating can be sharp. otherwise they hope a wonderful day! love as always justine xxx styleoutyourhome"
