"Lots of friends have been recommending this local cafe on one of Bristol’s most popular high streets for some time. This week I finally had brunch there. From the outside you wouldn’t think it is particularly special but the food and the coffee are excellent. There is no shortage of savoury and sweet options and both are equally good. I had mushrooms on sourdough toast. Need to find an excuse to return to try the pecan buns which looked fantastic. Bakers and Co will be one of my go to places in this part of Bristol. Give it a try."

"Honestly so disappointing I wouldn’t bother. The visual appearance of the restaurant was really nice, we got greeted immediately and had a choice of where to sit since the restaurant was empty (first red flag). The waiter provided us with menus (we got advised there was no wine menu, just house wine), we waited for our drinks order to be taken for at least 20 minutes. Eventually we got our drinks, and another 15 20 mins later the waiter took our food order. Having clarified our order, the waiter even asked if we wanted everything to arrive together (which we did). I had to try and get the waiters attention to re order some more drinks (3 glasses of wine, which we waited for 20 mins to arrive, again). The waiter brought the wine all in his hands, as if carrying some pints for the lads. Eventually the food arrived after over an hour. Naturally the food didn’t come together our friend had her food arrive 15 20 mins after the rest. The truffle arancini was dry and bland (didn’t taste like truffle), my friend got the cod curry which came with dry, crunchy and stale rice (the rest of the food wasn’t nice either tbh). Essentially for the price I would not recommend. During our stay, two couples arrived and left shortly after (assume since they weren’t served for at least 15 20 mins) (despite restaurant being empty) (two tables including us occupied). We had to ask for the bill twice, because naturally they didn’t bring it the first time. Honestly don’t waste your time or money here, I doubt this place will be open for much longer."

"I have been around the World and am a fussy eater. The chef and team here are exceptional. If you like top quality food you will understand this part, the consistency of high quality is amazing. To bring out plate after plate at that level of standard and speed is something that is under appreciated. I admire the eggs florentine, the muffins are insanely good as is the balance of flavour and herbs to the eggs and sauce. This is now my regular sanctuary and I try to come atleast a couple times a month from 40 miles away to eat and relax here. That peanut and banana shake is unreal too!"

"I went for the vegan seasonal toast option. As always it is nice to have a colourful and healthy plate. However, I do feel as though the plate contained a lot of salad to make it look like more than what it was. I wasnt the biggest fan of the cold veg mixed in with the salad like the sprouts and cauliflower. On the other hand, the actual seasonal toast was tasty with the tofu on top aswell. "Ok so BRUNCH is just a thing that my friends and I love doing. We have tried various places in Central London along with Dubai, New York Los Angeles, Mauritius and other countries all around the world. This might sound seriously extreme for a review, but I can honestly say this place is the BEST brunch I've had in the world. That is not an exaggeration! The coffee is unbelievable, the Sweet Maria is INSANE! I just wished I lived closer and I would be there every day!! I've noticed a few other brunch spots such as MUD Cafe trying to coffee Milks concept with their Parmesan hash it no where near as good!!"

"this was my second visit in seven days to this little esserei on ermine road. the staff is always smiling and super friendly and eating really different! my big latte coffee was delicious creamy and smooth, not bitter at all (I asked for the biggest cup they had and they were very obligated! . I had the mais and flower flower fritter, but instead of the Hiumi cheese I could instead trade and have avocado. this dish was very full and the mint yogurt dressing was a beautiful note. I would recommend a visit, they are dog friendly and plan to open the cellar some time in the future for more sitting opportunities! would recommend."

I'm on maternity leave so it's nice coming here to meet friends or alone. Inside and outdoor seating areas. I feel so comfortable breast feeding here. I'm moving to bexhill tho next week. guna miss it."

"Really original coffee place, with a great concept! The design is based around bicycles and there are random on-theme items hanging from the ceilings or placed on the tables everywhere. It doesn't feel like clutter though because the room is really big with lots of windows that really bring light in and open up the place. Their flat white is really great and I love the different soups they serve, especially the mushroom soup! Everything is really simple and really tasty and unpretentious. This is the perfect place to sit down with a good book or do some work. There are plugs everywhere to charge your laptop and they play non-distracting house music in the background."

"We only had dinner in the restaurant and the food was really good. Nearby activities: I went up the hill to see the castle ruins. The view from up there is magnificent! The walk, even though it's steep isn't that long and I am glad we didn't drive up. I also visited a shop that sells absolutely everything and anything. It's like stepping back in time to when I was a kid. I loved chatting to the owner and seeing all the different hardware and ceramics, garden tools, kitchen ware, you name it, this shop will have it. Can't remember the name of the shop but there's only one. Safety: It's a sleepy little town and you are perfectly safe there. Food drinks: Food was good."

"Ok I cannot complain about the coffee itself choice of espressos and served hot along with water perfect. But slow service few places to sit and then only cakes on offer. What happened to all the food options that made this place special. No melted cheese sandwiches for starters! his is what made Cairngorm stand out and a destination for coffee... now I may go if I need a fix and I am in the close vicinity optherwise I'll look elsewhere. Shame. As said in other reviews I do wonder if this is COVID enforced changes but almost every place I have been recently is severely lacking. We all understand the pressures but paying the same price for 50% of the service/product doesn't make anyone feel good."

"Oh dear ... Disappointing food; hopeless service and an absence of punters on a Friday night as word has obviously got out. Shame as the space is great (big curved windows on a corner street with space for a handful of outside tables shielded from the road . Saw this local restaurant during the day one sunday and booked it to take a friend who was coming to stay from out of town on Friday night. Firstly there was a disjunct with menu available (pizza's only and menu online (a la carte ; then the menu was kept very simple, which is ok, but none of their suggested combinations grabbed me and then half the ingredients were unavailabble or alternative to stated anyway (eg. No smoked salmon available for the smoked salmon pizza ... The goats curd was actually just straight goats cheese etc. . The service was delivered very sweetly but very slow, amateur and absent minded despite there being only one other couple of diners present. My pizza was a bit doughy but edible; my friend's wasn't and we left with it uneaten on the plate behind us to head back to the other side of the (Brockley railway tracks ..."

"We’ve been coming here for maybe 20 years because it’s at the start (or end depending on which way you’re heading) of the Snowdon Watkin path. Which in my opinion is the best route in terms of scenery. The first time we came here a long time ago when veganism wasn’t as big a deal, the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They made my partner a lovely hummus and onion sandwich with crisps on the side even though it wasn’t on the menu. From that time onwards, the food has just been getting better and better. Today (17.09.23) we shared an amazing cheese toasty with tasty French onion soup on the side. I also ordered a spring onion roll with salad and coleslaw. Both meals were of a standard that you would struggle to find anywhere in the area. I’m certain you won’t find any cafe, pub or restaurant in the nearby Beddgelert that can compete as I’ve already walked, cycled and driven through there numerous times this year and found nothing worth writing about. Keep it up!"

"We stumbled up on this adorable spot for dinner the other week (we're Americans who were visiting Cornwall for a few days), and everything was so beautiful and lovely. Great, low-key ambiance and friendly service, loved the menu and the presentation (so colorful), and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. We particularly loved the goat cheese and beetroot salad, it was perfection! In fact, we loved everything so much that we came back the next morning for brunch. We had some of the best scones we've ever eaten, lovely coffee and tea, an amazing breakfast sandwich, and breakfast plate that was a super creative, modern spin on the classic, full English breakfast. I love that this spot seems to be mostly or entirely female-run as well. If we lived in Penzance, we'd be there weekly. Such a wonderful, charming, and delicious cafe!"

"We called here on our way to Lock Ness as we were staying in Durnamuck for a holiday, the coffee was really nice (proper coffee not instant crap) and the apple cinnamon scone was delicious so soft and just perfect. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, definitely on our favourites list for when we are back up this way. Service: Takeaway Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"This small independent café in Inverness caters to the vegetarian and vegan community. They offer a variety of breakfast options until 11:30am as well as lunch choices. Most dishes can be made gluten-free upon request. The daily specials are worth trying as they are delicious. The smoothie was thick and refreshing, and all the food tasted fresh with a delightful combination of flavors. Be prepared to share a table with strangers during busy lunch times. Outdoor seating is available for enjoying the nice weather and people-watching. I highly recommend this café."

"I visit the juice smith on a regular basis for their cold pressed juices (which btw are amazing, and hot drinks), however I’d never been brave enough to try the food being a coeliac and paranoid about trying new places which aren’t coeliac accredited. After drooling over everyone else’s dishes for long enough, I finally asked to speak with the chef who was not only extremely knowledgeable on coeliac disease but also reassured me that they use separate utensils/pans etc clean down the surfaces before prepping the food for allergens. The staff then kindly took the time to go through the menu with me explaining what I can and can’t have and just informed me to always let the server know when ordering that I am coeliac so they can inform the chefs. I had the pad Thai noodles with oriental vegetables and it was absolutely delicious!!! I had no issues with it at all. Thank you so much to all the lovely staff and chefs at the Juice smith for a wonderful experience. Great service great food! I can’t wait to return!"

"Traditional 3 course Sunday lunch..pate to start with just enuf salad to accompany. Main was a beef dinner with massive roasts Yorkshire puds stuffing, mashed Swede was delicious as were the carrots...not being a big lover of these 2 veg they were so good I ate the lot! Not sure what the secret is! Cabbage was perfect and the beef was like butter!! Followed by lemon sponge custard served piping hot and very tasty! Lovely atmosphere very homely with a pleasant smile from the lovely landlady. Very attentive service. Will return for this treat again on a Sunday lunchtime."

"Our first visit today. I am a meat eater (reducing my intake of meat though) and the Mrs is a vegan and it is so difficult to find somewhere that serves a balance of food suitable for her and that will keep me interested too. There are so few places around East Lancashire/above Manchester so we were delighted to get a recommendation for Earthlings from our vegan friend. Simple elegant decor and a spotlessly clean premises, an interesting menu and specials board and very friendly staff. So...the food I went for the breakfast burrito, a beautiful purple coloured wrap with mushrooms, ‘Sosage’ pattie and whole earth baked beans, salad leaves and tomatoes on the side. I would have licked the plate clean had social etiquette allowed. The Mrs went for the Pumpkin seed, quinoa and Chia burger with slaw salsa and a few sweet potato cubes on the side from the specials board. I didn’t try hers, but she made approving noises and faces whilst she ate and said after how nice it was. Dessert was choc orange cheesecake with a scoop of vanilla Booja Booja ‘ice cream’ for me and Lavender and Lemon cheesecake with a scoop of berry sorbet for the Mrs. A cappuccino and an Americano brought the bill to around £33 money well spent and we will definitely be going back!"
