"First time I've used B&B's, and I've not been disappointed. I decided to swing by on my way to work, to have a Burrito for my lunch, at work (over in Portsmouth) The Burrito I had was the chicken fajita. It was RAMMED full of food, and well packed. It had been double wrapped too, ready for an extended journey! When I got to finally eat it 2 hours later it was still lovely and warm. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and would definitely recommend this place. The property itself is very clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff. Great value and all ingredients are very clearly fresh. I'll be visiting again, and likely to make it a Friday lunch treat when this period of my shift comes around again!"

Close to the city centre this cafe is very convenient for locals and tourists alike. Always a great vibe and the staff are so friendly. "looking for somewhere, the authentic bbq is hard, as most of the plants reheat once smoked and that changes the taste and textures, but here. it's crazy fresh. I pampered on a cool Saturday afternoon and ordered a tablet from hot left, briquette, chopped pork, pork, and a side of the swallow. eating was very fast and therefore I can only fathom it came out of the smoker and just on the tablet. the brisket was so moist and melted in the mouth, the pork ribs fell apart with a clean bone removal (not easy for pork ribs) and the hot parts were full of taste. the test of a big BBQ place is also their BBQ sauce, which was beautiful and spiced (back of mesquite) and the pickel, brewed in the house and delicious. service was attentive and super. a good lunch late afternoon."

"Well you asked ……. So despite a booking for 1pm given with deposits and a pre order for a festive menu We arrived early for drinks and told that the booking was for 11.30 ? by Adrian and that he had bought staff in early to cater for us we explained it was definitely a 1pm meal we had asked for. By 1.20 starters arrived but orders were awry and no toasted bread with the terrine (which was gorgeous) It was 2pm before the mains arrived but two customers were then informed their meals had been dropped (accidents can happen) however when their Salmon meals arrived 20 minutes later it was a quite underwhelming meal served. Lumpy Sauce no roasted carrots and a small portion of salmon and a small portion of beans no check back was given on the meal to ask why. Desserts was served but no spoons for one table and when requested again Adrian told us to collect them from another table. Finally it was discovered we were a dessert light and despite asking for it again was told another diner had accepted the missing dessert. So we just said OK we would forget and the bill would be altered. Sorry to report the mince pie size was minuscule with the size of the cream it was served with. Must say folks that had the Turkey Dinner (majority) had great reviews on their food and portion sizes. The two female waiting staff were brilliant and we could tell it had seemed like a lunchtime which had caused problems however the rest of the pub was not busy and they did their very best. This was a once a year Festive affair for 20 folks which I’m sorry to say was spoilt by poor Customer Service and Food/Menu problems which could have been resolved on the day by Adrian just talking to us in an acceptable manner instead he really caused an atmosphere."

"This used to be a great place but after the other day, I can only put it down to 2 things. The health inspector was in putting the staff off or the staff completely screwed up both pizzas. I ordered a hot one and I’ve no idea what I got. No chillis just olives and mushrooms and bits of what I think was spicy beef. My wife’s was not what she ordered either. At least the onion rings were correct. The pizza base also seemed chewy in the sense it was rubbery. Not good."

"Ordered via Deliveroo.... Firstly, the order was late (this is the second time now) The breaded mushrooms were over cooked and tasted like the oil used to cook them was old. The bottle of Pepsi was flat. The lamb was over cooked and so dry. The chips were overcooked and oily. The pizzas tasted strange, like the dough was not fresh before making. The Nuggets tasted like they'd also been cooked in old oil. Plus, it was all cold. Everything to be honest was very bad and was basically put straight in the bin. considering spent over £50 is not acceptable. As I said this is the second time I ordered from them and it was late, again but I thought I'd give them a chance, after this never again."

"Went for wings Wednesday with a few work friends. Arrived at the location and shown to our table. Took 15 minutes for our first round of drinks to arrive after ordering with staff. This was because the only waitress on duty was having a chat with the kitchen staff out of sight and forgetting customers. There was only my group and 2 other tables so not a busy day. Had to wait 25 to 30 mins for food once ordered. When I ask the chef if the waitress was still working or was she on part time hours and gone home. I was told to be quiet and sit down and order with the waitress who was never around. The chef was very rude and aggressive. I could then hear the staff including the waitress Kat in the kitchen being disrespectful about the group and myself. I was then approached by Kat and challenged in an aggressive manner. My first brew dog experience. Safe to say I won’t be going back to any branch if is what brew dog is all about."

"This restaurant is fantastic. It is budget-friendly, cozy, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend trying their spicy wings. The fries were perfectly cooked, both soft and crispy. "So we moved near here but due to lockdown spent months imagining what it's like. Now we've been a few times, great pub, lovely decor inside and great atmosphere. Reasonably priced for most drinks, and the burgers are great. They're not the fat juicy burgers I normally see, it was more reminiscent of a bbq burger and it was a nice change. Loved the smokiness of the patty."

"Wasn’t overly impressed. Sweet potato fries and husbands skinny fries both seemed really greasy. Bread for a nibble at for four thin dry slices of bread seemed excessive. As was for small pieces of pork in an overly greasy tampura batter. Steak wasn’t the best I’ve had and came with half a mushroom!! Didn’t have dessert as didn’t want to spend any more!! Wouldn’t come back. Water jug was stainless steel and seemed dirty and water stained."

"Herbiez Pizza is great but the Fleet franchise is run by cowboys. No customer service, poor delivery. One time I my wife ordered a large pizza, I went to collect. He told me the price. I look up at the GIGANTIC boards above the till and it was any pizza, any size £9.99 (or whatever) so I questioned why he was charging over the phone full menu prices. This is one example of my poor experiences and I’m gutted I live near the Fleet Herbiez because all my other experiences of stores has been superb."

"So I made an order on uber eats, as you can see in my order I asked for a chicken kebab wrap. Not only does the packaging say “Lamb kebab” but the wrap was also filled with lamb. I rung the shop up and they basically told me I was lying and that it was chicken, and told me that the writing on the packaging was a mistake. I can assure you this tastes and smells like lamb, AND looks like it too. I hung up in anger as they didn’t seem to be doing anything to correct my order. In all the experience with this place was shocking and their customer service was very bad. Never going here again, not being called a liar over the phone when it’s clearly lamb."

"I wanted pizza and instead of going to Greggs which is nearby l managed to find Dixy on Highfield Road. The guy behind the counter at approximately 14:10 was friendly and assured me the meat feast pizza will be made nicely as requested. After 18 minutes the pizza was ready and it was cooked to perfection and all l can say is it was lovely. The pizza had toppings aplenty, was very tasty and was served with three tubs of chilli sauce. A homeless woman (IC3 and in her 40's) scraggy in appearance asked a few patrons for change which is rather disconcerting when one is trying to eat in relative peace. She must do this all the time and managed to bag a free meal like it was the norm. Overall l was happy with the food and would recommend this establishment to others visiting this road for reasons of clothes shopping."
