"We went for lunch whilst out in the Xscape centre. We took our little one with us, we ordered the sweet corn fritters, jalapeño poppers and potato in spices. The starters were ok none of them were outstanding. The sweetcorn fritters tasted uncooked and like they had been warmed up. For the mains we had beef burrito and that came with chips and coleslaw. And the veggie chilli with rice and tortilla chips. My husband said the beef didn’t taste right and had to take it all out o eat the wrap, the veggie chilli was fine but it tasted like microwave rice it was stuck together and very stodgy. And the amount of rice to the chilli didn’t go barely had 2 spoonfuls of chilli on there to a while bowlful of rice so couldn’t finish it all. There was only one guy in the front serving, taking orders and drinks and bringing food out so quite slow esp being a Saturday afternoon. And only 2 people in the back, and with a few tables occupied we were waiting a while for food and drinks etc. The food seemed to be pre cooked the majority of it, we were very close to the kitchen and couldn’t get any smells of food being cooked freshly, which isn’t a good sign."

"They couldn't find our reservation although we have done it hours before via Open Table. However they let us sit on a reserved table until The waitress was as cold as an iceberg. Zero idea of customer service, not even a smile. The menu was rubbish with only FOUR items as mains including nachos. Since when is nachos a main dish? The ambience, the decor and the location are the only good things about this place. Don't waste your money going there"

"I'm disappointed to share my experience at this restaurant. I had made a reservation for my partner and me, and upon our arrival, we entered and waited at the front for someone to seat us. Unfortunately, the staff seemed unprepared for their duties. We stood by the entrance while two employees chatted and laughed in the kitchen, seemingly oblivious to us. The restaurant was completely empty, which was not surprising given the service we received. We tried to get their attention, and while they glanced our way, they continued their conversation without acknowledging us. A member of the kitchen staff even came out to joke around, but we were ignored once again. Feeling quite frustrated and disheartened, we decided to leave. It’s unfortunate because I believe our dining experience could have been enjoyable if the staff had been attentive and professional."

"I spent ages searching for places to go dancing late at night in London for a Christmas night out. This place got really highly rated. So I booked a table for 10pm. I asked for downstairs but FYI they said because it was Saturday night and I booked the day before none were available. But that was fine. We bought drinks (a jug of margarita was £34 which I thought was reasonable for Soho) upstairs and then went downstairs. It was absolutely rammed. But the vibe was good. Standing room only and lots of smiling faces. The music was R B though which is not my kind of thing although I knew most of the tunes. And also I felt very old (I'm in my 40's). So we only stayed for about an hour in the end. But I could see that it was a really fun lively place to be, just if you are a bit younger than me. lol."

"Firstly when we arrived, the tables hadn’t been cleaned and were horribly sticky. Standards of cleanliness in this bar are dreadful. The toilets were something else.. I’ve never seen anything so awful.. There were some random sofas in the toilets? Strange not?? To add to...this, the service was awful. Took about mins to get the attention of the lady who clearly had no idea how to interact with customers. On multiple occasions she ignored us. As expected, drinks took about mins to arrive. No where near enough staff. Lady was on her phone and none of the staff were wearing masks properly. There seemed to be some issue with the food… I think it isn’t even prepared on site.. We saw it turn up in this random bag? Perhaps its ordered from elsewhere. Seems very dodgy to me All in all an awful experience and I will not be returning. I don’t think we were the only ones either!"

"This restaurant offers everything you could want when you're in the mood for affordable Mexican cuisine: burritos, tacos, bowls, and margaritas. The food is delicious, fresh, and there are plenty of options to choose from."
"I often find myself disappointed by burritos that are small, sloppy, and lacking in flavor, with minimal amounts of rice and beans. However, at Big Boy Burritos, none of those issues were present. The burritos were big, flavorful, and satisfying."

"Delicious tacos! Tacos are the one and only main, but at the same time the different choices are fantastic! The pulled pork with pineapple salsa was probably my favourite, tied with the prawn tacos. I was really excited to see chicken mole tacos on the menu, but they were a bit light on the mole although still very tasty. The beef ones were good as well, but they were my least favourite of the four I tried since they were a tad spicy for me! Plates come with two tacos £6 for a pair) but it is recommended to have two pairs £11) for a proper meal. The quality is high and the tacos are flavourful and delicious. Two tacos really won't be much more than a snack since they are so small, but then again four tacos certainly are filling. That said, four tacos with no sides and such feels a tad overpriced for £11, considering what you receive relative to other place for an £11 or £12 full dinner. The tacos are delicious and the place is endearing, though. It is also BYOB and you can purchase drinks at the corner shop so that is quite convenient, especially if coming for dinner. Although the Bodega is pint-sized, I really like the feel of the place and the intimate atmosphere. It is a great, trendy place to spice up Leith Walk, too!"
