"On arrival I couldn't park in any of the 4 disabled at the front of the restaurant and had to park some distance away. My Dad has severe walking disabilities and has stage 4 cancer and uses a frame to slowly move. You can guess how angry I was to see 3 big 4×4 and a two seater convertible parked in the bays with not one displaying a disabled badge. I complained to reception on entry and they just stated it was down to Middlebrook retail park and not the restaurant. These are bays directly in front of their doors. Surely then they should be Complaining to the retail park in defence of their disabled customers. They also sat him right at the other side of the restaurant when they could see he really, really struggles to walk. No care for the disabled at this place, so certainly won't be visiting again."

"I had a previous bad encounter with noodle box back last year when I was called a liar by the management. I ordered calamari and was sent some sort of round things. I rang up to obviously inform them of their mistake and the manager...actually turned round and said you’re a liar we can tell the difference between calamari and the item I had been sent. I had to send a photo to the managers phone to show them what they sent and I was told oh well we can’t all be perfect as you obviously are. Tonight after begging from the children to order I gave in. The food was piping hot and in all fairness very tasty. However there was a portion of calamari missing. I rang the store straight away to inform them of their mistake and was told no you got what you ordered. I brought up my order on their app and once again was told I hadn’t ordered it. The manager then told me I couldn’t add up as I hadn’t been charged. Once I broke down my receipt to him and went through each addition separately he finally admitted defeat. I was then told at 18:22 the missing item would be with me within half an hour to an hour. I rang back at 19:31 to enquire where my food was and was told someone would call me back. 19:48 still no call so I rang back 4 times before my call was finally answered to be spoken to by the same gentleman I had initially spoken to and was told that it would be with me within 15 minutes. He telephoned me at 20:04 to be told he was just leaving the shop and he’d ring me when he was in my road and I could go out and collect it from him as he obviously can’t be bothered to bring it to my door. The food is great I’m not going to lie but the customer service is beyond appalling from the counter staff to the management. It’s now 20:17 and it’s only just turned up and was told we’ve given you a complimentary can...really?? I personally will NEVER order off this restaurant and I really suggest people follow suit. I can honestly say I’ve never been treated as poorly by any other restaurant or takeaway and I really suggest the management look at their own attitude and management skills and then look at the whole staff as a complete unit. Bad management is toxic and it shows in the way your staff treat your customers. Absolutely hands the worst customer service in the whole of Cardiff."

"I ordered from Wan Choi for the first time today and my family and I were not disappointed. We have been stuck ordering limited items from most Chinese takeaway restaurants as we only eat halal. I was pleasantly surprised to find Wan Choi online one evening when I was scrolling though a list of restaurants near me that offer halal food. I read through quite a few of the reviews on google and found most of them to be very positive. I ordered though Just Eat and set a delivery time. I received a call back from Wan Choi just after they opened and they asked if they could deliver a little earlier as they were very busy. The gentleman I spoke to was very polite and professional on the phone and I agreed to the earlier delivery time. The delivery was made at the exact time stated on the phone and all social distancing measures were taken. Driver confirmed the name on the order so as to not deliver to the wrong address and left. The food was all well cooked, sufficiently seasoned and tasted freshly prepared. We ordered quite a few different dishes as we wanted to really try them out. I hope they are consistent with the service and quality of food as our first experience was great. We will be a returning customer for the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend Wan Choi to anyone who only eats halal but also to anyone who doesn’t care either way."

"After I was fan of saigon saigon since 2004 (and was not there for almost so long time) I was happy to come for a Chinese buffet the other day. the restaurant has changed quite since 2004, with a stylish interieur and on the day we visited it was busy, but we waited only about 5 minutes for a table. the buffet food was fresh and tasty, with all favorites like crispy meerweed, spring rolls and chili chicken available and piping hot. the weinlist was also good and there were some options for dessert, although I was too full! will definitely be the best place to enjoy the Chinese buffet in edinburgh. and I also die to try the dim sum as the next table had something and it looked ugly."

"My partner and I were really looking forward to this meal. She mentioned that she hadn't had Chinese food in a while and wanted to satisfy her craving. Unfortunately, this wasn't the right place for it. The food was just average, and while the service was decent, the atmosphere felt lacking since it was a midweek visit. However, when we received the bill, I found it quite excessive for what we had. Overall, it was a bit of an anticlimax and didn't convince me to choose Chinese over a Thai meal."

"Been customer since they opened. I am going to describe my last 2 orders. 1. A couple weeks ago I ordered my usual. Nothing out of the ordinary here, however, large was my surprise when I tasted the chow mein and tasted of smoke and felt burnt. Claimed and got replacement. But not up to what I am used to from this place, pretty bland. 2. My friend went to pick up my last order and ended up having an argument with the staff about if a free dish was given or not and left without it, while having it requested at time of ordering and claiming it again when picking up, and order being well over offer. Added to this I ordered mild food. Thank god I am not allergic to food products but I imagine they will care the same if it were an allergy. Resuming, I cannot recommend this place, their food quality has decreased since opening and their customer service... I've just no words to describe it. Buy at your own risk."

"I’ve never had an experience to this quality and standard before. I had the 4 course buffet and every single part of it was outstanding in every single way. From the stunning flavours, to the presentation and the extremely quick and attentive service, my experience has been out of this world. The chicken satay was the best chicken satay I’ve ever had, the sweetcorn soup of the day was superb, and the beef in oyster sauce was unreal. You could taste the difference in the quality of these ingredients and their preparation compared to other restaurants and their standards. The owner is absolutely fantastic too, could not be a friendlier owner or friendlier staff. Amazing experience, will definitely be back soon."

"while staying at the mercure brighton seafront hotel, I and my guest decided to enjoy a two meal in the hotel restaurant. the restaurant is just a few minutes from the beach brighton and is open for lunch and dinner. the atmosphere... within the elegant brassiere and the evening view of the brighton beach there is a variety of dressings that you can choose on the menu. the restaurant itself is very relaxing and conveys the impression of the class from its inner. it seems a little surprising on a Friday night, one of the busiest nights in the week to have not the lamm two possibilities, mini brain pussies, '. especially if there was a court I was really interested to try. in his absentness, however, I have resorted to the court chicken tikka masala, reis, naan brot, mini-poppadums and mango chutney'. there are a lot of Indian dishes that I have tried in running the years and if they expect an exquisite authentic curry dish, then this is not one for them. I can only call the main meal as a ground and edge not as fresh, as you would expect, but reminded me of a shop production, easily served in a silver bowl with slightly bright hearty rice on the side. I do not think that this court may have been freshly made in front of location and I can only visualize the source of this scurry, pre- and on mass, stored in the hotel's kitchen freeze cabinet, until later used from consumption. I have little hope that the rest of the servings on the plate was made fresh even before site, which is a little bit tangible to say the least. usually to finish every meal, the word dessert sounds in the usually very soothing and extremely pleasant. I and my gast chose a tarte tatin, caramelized apple, vanilla ice cream and a white chocolate and cranberry, brot and butter pudding with white chocolate ice cream." the service for the dessert was a long wait period. but I would never let my impatience over dessert be ruined unless it was unsatisfactory. that comes to my next asking, was dessert served in seconds? or was it worth fifteen minutes of my impatient life? do not overlook the phenomena which might be irritable and appetizing, but my gast was satisfied with the taste of white chocolate/crownberry, brot and butter pudding with white chocolate ice cream. even if this look a little simple and inconspicuous. above all, I can only describe my tarte tatin as simple and boring, as you can have the opportunity and maybe next time if there is one that skip round desserts and pay the bill."

"Went early doors after work with my husband, for our date light, we looked at the reviews , amd were looking forward to authentic Thai cuisine, I ordered a mushroom satay to start; which was so hard it was inedible, however the sauce that accompanied it was really good, then I had the sizzling Thai chicken in Thai sauce, the chicken was 3 lumps of hard inedible meat, I Could not even cut through each piece which Made me feel sick, they sent it back and gave me the same dish but sliced chicken, still awful and tough, again the sauce was great, I didn’t eat any of the chicken just a piece of broccoli and cauliflower, expensive night And In addition the female that served us has an unwelcoming demeanour when entering, I cook a great deal of chinese, thai and other cuisines and wished i had stayed at home."

"Clifton Thai are really consistent and best enjoyed by sticking to authentic Thai dishes rather than the more westernised tempura dishes. The Butterfly King Prawn Tom Yum is just an incredible starter. The stock used in the soup is so packed with flavour, and the king prawns are incredibly succulent. Probably my only criticism is that there’s an odd number of prawns in a soup designed to be shared for two which makes it harder to split given they are “shell on”. The Green Thai curry and chicken cashew dishes were both also great, particularly the former which is packed with flavour and, if you ask for it hot, comes with a great spicy kick. Service is always prompt and polite and make it a very pleasant experience."
