"Clifton Thai are really consistent and best enjoyed by sticking to authentic Thai dishes rather than the more westernised tempura dishes. The Butterfly King Prawn Tom Yum is just an incredible starter. The stock used in the soup is so packed with flavour, and the king prawns are incredibly succulent. Probably my only criticism is that there’s an odd number of prawns in a soup designed to be shared for two which makes it harder to split given they are “shell on”. The Green Thai curry and chicken cashew dishes were both also great, particularly the former which is packed with flavour and, if you ask for it hot, comes with a great spicy kick. Service is always prompt and polite and make it a very pleasant experience."

First time visiting Clifton Thai, and me and my partner was very pleased. That food was excellent the staff was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean tidy and smart. Definitely coming back.

This was one of the bests customer services I have ever experienced. The food came out really quickly, the flavours were wonderful and the drinks were spot on. Staff was really nice and approachable and also the atmosphere in the restaurant was really cozy.

We had the pad thai, penang curry and coconut rice. The curry was ok but the other two were quite bland and seemed to be missing something (and I've eaten a lot of pad thai and coconut rice before, including in Thailand so I know what they should taste like). Service was quick and the price was fairly cheap though portion size was very small.

By far the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to and probably one of the best restaurants I have been to full stop. I came here with family for my birthday. A few of my relatives don’t usually like Thai food but even they absolutely loved it. Everyone’s plate was clean by the end and we all tried each others food. The muscles and the duck curry were my favourites. Would 100% recommend.

This review is coming from someone that feels that Thai food lacks flavour and do not eat this cuisine out of choice….. the Clifton Thai has mixed reviews mainly on the Takeaways….. however eating in their restaurant has totally changed my opinion of Thai food! The flavours were amazing and the best I have ever experienced, the staff are polite and very helpful I never had to wait a long period for the next course, I’m definitely going back A and I’m a fussy **** too….. you must go now.
