The servers seemed confused about which tables they were responsible for. The patrons were excessively loud, disturbing everyone else, and no one addressed the issue. "oh wow what a nice place to meet and eat. the staff was so polite and friendly and they let them feel totally welcome. it had a burning fire that was a really welcome part of our visit. the eating was superb, fresh, hot and looked too nice to cook all the house aswell, which was a bonus to eat. they made 1 curs for £12, 2 courses for £14, 3 courses for £17 a really good deal well worth we were small doctors at this visit. we had the pate, the suppe of the day the mushrooms for beginners. I'm sorry no pictures have been taken quickly. for the net we had, the halibut, the forerib, the piece of the day. for the gloomy we had, red with cheesecake lemon cheesecake please give this beautiful place a call and book we felt totally comfortable and safe especially with the current circumstances"

"We had a bad experience with the food. Beef was terrible and the kitchen had not cooked properly for long enough. They took my men from the bill and replaced my with another dish, but it ruined the birthday meal for us. I mean, while everyone was done, for example. The manager came by the end and said the kitchen wouldn't have cooked it long enough, but why didn't nobody try it? Are you sure you see if it's delicate or not if it's a slowly cooked short rib? I could say by putting in the fork as my husband could. It must be obvious when it is flattened. Lamb was apparently average for £21.50, fish and chips good. But my replacement fish was overcooked! Dark brown and hard dough! I had a bad day. The staff is lovely, but you go there to eat. We sat in the conservatory when it was a beautiful day and they opened the window for us, but then the people started moving BBQs and Dustbins and at one point it was so loud and distracting we couldn't hear right! I wanted to sit in the conservatory, but I wouldn't have if I had known it sorted out the garden. We weren't for a year when we went a lot earlier, then it was a bit hard so we stopped. We wanted to try again. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a disaster."

"ollie made a really extraordinary Amaretto-sauer and nikki was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Both are wonderful to be around and I highly recommend this connection. Of course, they can find similar food in a variety of restaurants and bars in the general opposite. but it is unlikely that they will find those people who really want to know them, keep them at their table, have this conversation and eager for them to eat what they desire."

"We stayed at the White Hart for 2 nights with dinner included in the price. The first night there was only one young man serving everything drinks, food, the lot! He was very nice but clearly up against it certainly not his fault! We waited nearly an hour for our first course and that was only served because we eventually went to the bar to order (others around had their order taken at their table). All the food appeared to be bought in rather than made on site. My caesar salad looked like it had had 2 packets of Tesco sandwich chicken emptied on the plate. The second evening was slightly better as there were a lot of staff working (partly due to a private event somewhere in the pub I think). The pub itself had quite a nice feel, but the service and food were not as expected or hoped."

"This is hands down my favorite restaurant. It's like a hidden gem that you would find in a small, family-owned diner in the States. The portion sizes are generous and they even offer doggy bags. The ingredients are top-notch, the cooks are skilled, and the staff is friendly. And all of this for just a little over twenty pounds. It's an amazing value for the quality of food. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu."
