"Friendly, fast and accommodating! Went in for dinner and chose my go to dish, the chef asked me if I wanted a sample before I ordered who can say no to that offer? I was ordering takeout and while I was waiting I was offered a can of diet coke gratis. Not many places like this left unfortunately. Will definitely come back! "VILE! unbelievably bad. I went to pick up an order from the restaurant, and this was my first time ordering from here. I should have turned around and walked back to my car as soon as I walked through the front door.... the restaurant was empty, bar a group of men at the back having what looked like a family meal helping themselves to food from trays on a side table. Like a cheap buffet. The bar was empty and had no staff behind it at all. Of the two beer fridges, one was filled with random items like bulbs and cardboard boxes and the other had 4 bottles of bud and an empty ketchup bottle. There were flies on the bar, and there was a large basket filled with dirty washing (I assume aprons) just sitting there. Not a single member of staff came to greet me, so I wandered towards the back of the restaurant to get someone's attention. I wish I hadn't because as I got to the back end of the place there was a small room where one of the male members of staff was sat on the floor with two buckets.... one with clearly dirty water, and the other had suds on top and he was dunking the cutlery in the bucket..... this is how they clean their dishes!!!!?? Absolutely gross and mental. The manager was rude and dismissed me straight away, telling me to come back in half an hour. As I said, I should Have walked out and never returned there and then ...but I didn't. I came back collected my food, got home...took one look at it and lashed it all in the wheely bin outside. Money down the gutter, but a lesson learned....always check the MANY 1 star reviews on trust pilot before ordering food from a new place."

"first order the last night. service was exceptional to arrange food to be ready earlier than normal and so a beautiful person with whom we talked. I think this is a mother-daughter team and that we had for my mother when I felt it was something special. I'm vegan and my mom isn't, but we both loved it! and I can be a hard critic with Indians eating, but the aromen, where fantastic. I would highly recommend the Ramja court! oh and we loved the free popadoms and dives!"

"I made an order which had 3 curry’s one curry container was ok and filled up the other 2 curry containers was less then half filled. Uber eats told me to contact them. I have rang them asking why? His reply was larger containers and some curry’s are less sauce??? As you can see by my photos the difference between the portions of curry’s. Customer service is appalling. I work in the restaurant industry and would never talk to a customer the way I was spoken to. Definitely won’t be ordering from there again my mistake as there are plenty of other Indian take away max and I stupidly chose this one. Not even an apology or anything."

"I have been a patron of this restaurant for two decades. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. However, when I tried to place a takeout order tonight, I was surprised to find that my request was denied. After speaking with the manager, he claimed that they have never delivered to my address. It seems that there has been a change in management, and the service has deteriorated significantly. Despite the restaurant's website and Just Eat indicating that they offer delivery, I advise against ordering from here as it will only result in wasted time."

"I have been a regular banana leaf customer for years, from their old premises in the West end to their new updated St. Vincent street restaurant. The food is second to none, Very flavourful and a great variety on the menu, I have my favourites but also like to try new things occasionally and am never disappointed. The staff are friendly and remember us from previous visits and are always happy to see us return, the decor is nice with a chilled atmosphere, the price is exceptionally cheap particularly for a city centre establishment. The service is typically quick and the food arrives shortly after order on most occasions, there is also the added bonus of bring your own bottle with no corkage. I will continue to visit regularly and support this fine establishment."

"no later than a Friday evening. it came minus a court next to me, but when it was late, I didn't call her to ask. had left an interim report on just eat and said that eating was very good, but there were missing items. these young people read this and came back unannounced in the following night, with the missing court and some rice to go with it. in short, they really care about their call and customer service as well as the production of good means of life"

"One of the best places to eat in Edinburgh. I used to visit this place regularly years ago. Came back to edinburgh for a day trip and still the same quality food. There is loads of fancy places to eat but this place place is simple with great tasting food. Well done guys."

"Very disappointed, their 'Fried Chicken ': Served with french fries, peas, tomatoes mushroom came as just chips and dry fried chicken. When I immediately called them to bring it up they said they would give me something extra free on my next order. This is presuming I 'm going to give them another order having not given me what I paid for on this order, and also, not actually promising me anything extra, as I paid for it this order! Perhaps this is because I didn 't order through just-eat as I know just-eat take a cut, however having signed up for their website I now regret it, and am having second thoughts about ordering from them again. Had I ordered through just-eat I would also have left them a disappointed review there."

"There was no food available and I am not sure if they even serve food at this restaurant, so I am giving it 1 star. The alcohol-free selection was limited, and I don't always want to just drink coke or water. Our tables were grouped in pairs, which was frustrating since we had booked two tables of 4 several days in advance. We called earlier in the day to confirm our reservation, but there were no reserved signs when we arrived. This was not ideal for a family gathering to watch a football game."

"Great experience! My taste buds are delighted with the delicious flavors. I highly recommend trying the Naga huh, Tikka Garlic Chili, and Tikka Masala dishes. The Mushroom Rice and Fried Rice are also excellent. Just a heads up, when dining in, the meal comes with either picnic or boiled rice, but if you opt for takeout, rice is not included."

"I ordered a takeaway from here after reading reasonable reviews on trip advisor and just eat. I ordered my food via just eat which was fairly simple. It sent me a time that my food would be delivered by a few minutes after placing my...order, which was convenient as I could warm my plates and oven for when it arrived. The food actually arrived before the time I was given which was actually a good thing as I was rather peckish. I was greeted with a happy new year and a smile by the delivery man which was nice. He said he hoped I enjoyed my meal and wished me fair well good service. The food was piping hot and of a good standard. I think there was room for improvement on flavour but quality was very good. The meat used was tender and fresh. I enjoyed the curry and would order from here again, not the best I've had but, for the price, can't go wrong. I had a chicken madras, pilau rice and onion bajhi which came to under £10. I would recommend this curry house for its efficiency, friendly service and good standard of food."

"Dealing with the pandemic situation well. They have a virtual queue and sanitizer stations. Staff were super friendly and professional. We had a baby with us and the man dealing with the queue allowed us to wait inside because of this. Very kind. Food is always amazing and great value for money. Highly recommend"

"Been here a couple of times as this is probably the best pakistani restaurant nearby. And as it is in Marylebone it means a lot. Food is fantastic, quite spicy sometimes but on the other hand this restaurant is one with the concept BYOB that means bring your own bottle that you can buy on a liquor store in front. Small service charge for this or ask for a starter as you won't regret anyway. Coming back as soon as i am able."

"some mixed reviews here. we thought this was a restaurant; it is not only really for delivery/exception. there are a few seats at the window where they can sit. most people will get their delivered though and I will not be close enough to comment on it. the pizza was great. cooked in a real wood stove. there are four vegan pizzas on the menu and the sweet potato with pine nuts was delicious. a little expensive."

"I've ordered from this restaurant a few times and overall, it was a bit inconsistent. Any issues were promptly resolved by the ordering app, but there were still a few minor problems. However, tonight's meal was exceptional and one of the best curry experiences we've had. In fact, it was so good that I felt compelled to call and thank the chef! Cheers!"

"I like the Mogul because the cooking is slightly different to the usual curry house greats. I would prefer it if the spicy food was more spicy, in our case the dansak was hotter than the Naga curry , 3 chilies should at least make you wince a bit. I'll ask them to rev it up a bit next time. Ambiance could be improved with a fish tank and 20 sitar greats. Beer is way too expensive and they didn't have Carlsburg on tap. I enjoyed the flavour and quality of the food and I'll be back , but I'll go to the pub first."

"Had really high hopes for this place based on their great reviews! However, our experience was a mixed bag. Started off with fresh papadums. Our mixed starter was delightful as were the samosas! For main their lamb shank is so tender and juicy. However, our lamb biriyani was incredibly tough and the rice didn’t seem fresh. The chicken in the korma was rubbery and bland. The keema naan barely had any filling. Since most of the main fell short, we left feeling disappointed. Also, we found the lights to be quite white and bright which made the environment quite sterile."
