"I tasted GBK burgers for the first time and I must say their burgers are the nicest and tastiest burgers I have had in a very long time, I was asked how I wanted it which was cooked to perfection. It does cost a lot for a burger but it really was worth the money. The presentation of the food and packaging is the best I've ever seen, cardboard boxes instead of plastic (hate plastic packaging for food). Their customer service was ok I guess but i wasn't greeted with a smile, but I would go there again to eat in. LOVED IT"

"booked for the birthday of my wife. Peak time on a Saturday night, but we were taken directly on our table and excellent service all night. that was great. four of us then shared the sharing board with a steak, a black escalope and 2 filled lamb specialties. we shared a pudding and had 2 coffees, 2 softdrinks, a pint and a bottle of champagne. bill came to £41 a head with pointed. fantastic food and service and good value for the quality of food. would recommend to everyone. only negative were limited beer available, but they would go here for eating first line."

"It was very good. The staff was very friendly and nice and the food took no time to make. it was, unfortunately, a little pricey. I ordered the margarita pizza, and it was very good. It was salted well, cooked well and tasted great. Probably the best mozzarella I've ever had. But this is a place better for a small group of 4-5 or a nice one-on-one date. The area and atmosphere was very up beat and you can't help but like it. Would recommend."

"This is the 1st year my wife fought out of cancer and I wanted to do something nice for her so I booked your £18per head festival meal but as we arrived we noticed there were no Christmas decorations no festive music and we was handed menu's and when I asked for Christmas Dinner x 2 we was told there is no Turkey and they can make us something, they offered chicken so here's our meal dry chicken like rubber, carrots like rubber you can bend without breaking, cold Brussels the sweetcorn was not fresh. My wife left crying not eating nothing, now the young lady serving us did well to help but my wife was emotional and just did not want to chance another. We're not coming back sorry I used to love coming here...."

"The service here is always poor!! They are understaffed. Waited ages to order even after calling the waitress to come take our order. She took ages to come knowing we were waiting to order. The food is usually good here even with the poor service, but this time it wasn’t up to scratch and we are regulars! The steak was not cooked medium, the chips had no paprika seasoning and the salad barely had any dressing!! I was really disappointed!! When we tried to tell the waitress there is no paprika on the chips she tried to tell us that they are!! They need more staff"

"Ramp for wheelchair has been glued and no offer of help tied to my wheelchair nan. 3 of the group commands Burger and none ate them because they are really torn. When we told the staff, it was such a pain to get back our money and we had to feel as if we were lying.... We just wanted a nice meal and it was pretty garbage really. Such a shame as is usual. "Nice restaurant on the harbour with good service but don’t order steak. Tough as old boots they were with fat and gristle all through it. When they charge over £20 for the ribeye you would expect it to be nice and edible which it was not for my son who ordered that dinner. I had the Bird, Surf and Turf , the bird and turf was nice but again the rump steak was very tough. The steak knife struggled to cut both steaks . They did refund the ribeye dinner and the manager apologised as they could see for themselves it wasn’t an acceptable piece of steak."

"Absolutely no parking in the complex not a surprise as it's shared with 5 other eateries, but as it's the restaurant for the hotel no parking is madness! While we appreciate that we are still in difficult times re Covid, I didn't appreciate being treated like a complete idiot when it came to selecting food from the salad bar. Being told to stand in a specific spot and keep your distance from me and I'll sort your salad. My daughter is gluten free and there was no easily visible menu to see what was allergen free for her. Told to look online no wifi available and no Network signal for any of our phones and we cover 3 different networks between us. Stuck up attitude from waitress on why we can't see the menu. Food was nothing great to shout about. We won't be back"

"Lovely welcome and waitress very smiley and willing to please. Food pretty disappointing though. Starters/tapas low quality, highly breaded deep fat fried and pretty tasteless so totally overpriced. This was true for the chicken strips, calamari, hallumi chips and mushrooms. The nachos were the only decent plate. Main courses were not too bad although chips/fries were all over seasoned and very salty. Ribs well cooked but chicken undercooked. Burgers seemed ok. We did not have desserts."

"Our table was booked for 7 pm for my family of 7 inclufing 3 children We had tobwait over 15 mins for s table to become free Once seated it took for ever for our order to be taken Was told salad bowls would be brought ton the table and waited over 10 mins and had to ask agsin Then we had to ask for our refill glasses so we coukd get a drink Our starters again took ages and when the wete brought to the table the srever would not put the dishes in front of us my son had to take them of the tray and pass them round and burnt his hands as the plates were piping hot Once again finished and waiting ages for our mains Table was not cleared and they wanted to put our dinner down gad to ask for the table to be cleared so we could eat Then the order for desserts again ages the kitchen even closed by this time and again waited ages for them to come out No staff two girls serving and another boy who dropped customers dinners Horredous service manager has no control I wont be going back and warn others to avoid We were in there for over three and half hours Awful experience ????"

"we're going here at least twice a month. tonight was a birthday party and unfortunately it was eating up to its usual standard. I have Cajan chicken that was so spiced, it just tasted like salt. the kartoffel was dry as if she was on the way all day. we asked for med rarely on steaks and from 5 was just one right. we didn't complain at that time, because it would have ruined our sonish birthday parties. service was 10/10 as usual."
