"Absolutely fantastic! We came for the curry evening which is held every Tuesday. £12 for a curry, rice or naan and drink (soft drink, wine or beer). It’s amazingly good value for money and we really enjoyed the food. Particular highlights were the lamb saag, lamb vindaloo, chicken bhuna and chicken korma. The soft buttered naans were amazing too and seemed like they had come straight out of a tandoor. Just fantastic! Kapilla who served us is lovely and one of the sweetest, hardworking ladies you’ll ever meet. Thank you to Kapilla and all of the team for a lovely evening, we will be back for sure"

"Unfortunately we did not see this restaurant at it's best. It was the day of a rugby final so it was packed. Knowing how busy the place would be we reserved a table and got seated on time. after a short wait we ordered and drinks and nibbles arrived quite quickly. Starters then came luke warm, and not particularly special. We then waited, and waited, and waited. An hour and three quarters after we arrived there was still no sign of a main course or any service we had tried to catch the eyes of the people working there several times. In the end we decided to leave. We reached the counter and asked to pay what we had received. This came to £40 for three drinks, nibbles and starters which we paid. In all fairness the manager was very apologetic. The waitress was very friendly as well. I could not fault either of these two. But clearly they must have been understaffed and this resulted in delays. We weren't the only group to complain about the time. So, in short, I can't really comment on how good this restaurant is usually. It has very good reviews which is why I made the reservation. But I would avoid on match days."

"Just ordered for a large group to take away from istanbul BBQ blackburn . Food was hot, tasty, well placed in containers and enjoyed by all. "Ordered a delivery from just eat on the October, my meal was missing a main and a side, I phoned to let them know they forgot my items and if they could deliver them, to then be told the items were delivered and that I was lying, I was told I would not get a refund and that they did not have the time to deal with my issue. The food that did turn up was mins late and cold, avoid at all costs!"

"Historically used to be the Shah Bah and for about 25 years I used it every Sunday evening without fail, great food! Tried it once just as it changed hands and was like a lot of Anglicised Indian restaurants one pot of highly coloured tastless food smoothered in ghee. However, thought I would try it again after about 3 years. The Tandoori chicken (usually comes in a foil lined bag and is lovely and dry) was in a plastic container covered in bright red onions. The meat was very moist, tastless and tough, I suspect prepared in an ordinary oven. Mushroom rice was very greasy and tasteless, Tarka Dahl lacked the garlic kick and the potatoes in the Bombay aloo were undercooked. Complimentary popadoms were soggy!"

"What a find!!This was my first visit on Friday night. . .Sheradens was recommended to us . Very friendly place. Very busy too so theres a fast turn over and the fish had just been cooked. Really lovely fish and chips. My only criticism was the mushy peas were very watery and had no taste . We would highly recommend Sheradens. You pay a bit more for a very good reason!!!"

"Decent location of the place. Be aware of limited car park space. Great prices and huge portion. The lamb was ok, the garlic sauce could have been better. The biggest disappointment was the salad/cabbage. It was tasteless. It is so easy to freshly cut the veg. It would make a massive difference and that I would suggest. PS: Cleanliness of the place should be on a higher level. You've got enough staff to delegate someone to do it."
