"After a catastrophic visit on 26th february, who was on the birthday of my engaged, I announced the restaurant 2 days later to discuss the visit and how dissatisfied we were. "We had a reservation for 6:30 pm at the restaurant, which was quiet at first but started to get busier and louder. They had a special offer on Tapas before 7:00 pm and a 2 for 1 deal on cocktails. The food was delicious, although I thought the dessert options were a bit lacking. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. I would recommend La Tasca as a lively and energetic place to enjoy a meal."

"if they happen to be someone who is freed from the mask during the Covid-19 pandemic, please avoid this caffe. as the only food outlet in the park it should be ideal to take a takeaway coffee. but they have to go in. to order. I tried to do this today, first clear that I was masked free and entered a ok of a beautiful employee. I ordered the coffee, went outside to wait, went back to collect and pay him, as no one came to me, just to know from a most hostile and rudest member of the staff, which requires to know where my mask was and why I didn't wear it. I regret to buy the coffee now because the contempt and disregard was so annoying and stressful. that's really unnecessary. put them a luke or stand them out where coffee can be ordered and treat them all their customers with equal respect and kind. try to remember that I am also a human with right. this ruined a beautiful morning and let me drink when I walked the road, with my capless coffee, which spilled everywhere on the place. (it was pushing on me without lid, as if I had a bubble plague and had to be chased out of the ast) at least I found hatch coffee in sandycove, so that peace is restored."

"La Tasca was not aware of my booking but there was space available anyway. The food was fair and took an age to arrive. It took over an hour to receive some bread and other dishes. They did not have enough staff which meant the service was very slow. In the end a simple meal took over two hours. Based on my experience I would not dine here again."

"that has turned out to be a wonderful surprise! my partner and I stayed an dinner while at the metford centre at one night, and I admit that I had gone with quite low expectations (one of my previous shopping center restaurants had ever had gone well before/were just from the need to please a group) but that ended my socks out! we were hit at the door and sitting right away. our server was a very pleasant woman who took our drinks food orders in time, and we did not have to wait long for our meal • their vegan/gluten-free offers were quite limited, but we could share the paella for two, it was absolutely beautiful! full of color and taste, it reminded us both of a dish with love home, and proved to be two more than enough food. it is actually a few weeks since our visit, but we are still talking about the paella that plans to visit again soon!"

"I was really disappointed with the food. None of the food was that hot and the Festival of Mushrooms was virtually cold. The Paella Pizza turned up covered with something that tasted like cleaning fluid. I was told it was a creamy truffle and parsley dressing. Had it been listed on the menu I would have asked them to leave it off as it made the already oily pizza, inedible. The Huevos Cabreaos came covered in Alioli but this also wasn 't listed on the menu another dish left uneaten. PLEASE can you list all the main ingredients on the menu and please try to serve the food hot!"

"It's 6 months since we were last here. We had an excellent evening. We had deliberately chosen a Monday evening because one member of the party is pretty deaf (me) and we thought it would be quieter. Actually there were fewer people in the restaurant than last time but the noise level was difficult for me. We loved the variety of food, the wine was excellent and the service was outstanding. "After months of covid restrictions and other various little setbacks the family said their final farewells to my brother. It was a beautiful afternoon as we said goodbye just as he wanted, beside our family childhood home and the canal at Dudbridge. We followed this this with afternoon tea at The Bell, where he used to go as a young spiv. Justyna and her team did him proud. We had a warm welcome, beautifully prepared and presented food including vegan and mindful of allergies. Such a lovely setting , gorgeous views, very comfortable venue...in fact a really really lovely afternoon . Just as Gerry would have wanted. Thank you sooo much all of you. xxxx"

"I advise not to book through open table. We were told upon arrival that our booking was not valid, and that they were fully booked. We were also told, this had happened before and they had no access to the system to turn bookings off? So you’re happy for people to make wasted journeys for special occasions and turn up to be told that their reservation isn’t valid? Very strange. It was Father’s Day and we travelled one hour with a 10 month old baby. The manager was happy to politely apologise and have us on our way, no offer of a voucher or much effort to ‘fit us in’. We politely pushed for any alternative table at all as we were desperate. We were then offered to sit outside (not really the special meal we came for nor particularly appropriate with a baby) but after sitting at the bar and scouring the internet to find a table anywhere else we accepted sitting outside as a last resort. We were then given our diet cokes free as courtesy. We like to think we are very polite, so we accepted the mix up and didn’t say anything despite there being 8 tables free inside the restaurant. We kept quiet thinking perhaps they were expecting an influx of bookings soon. We were however quite shocked that 1 hour went by and still there were 8 empty tables available inside whilst we remained outside? We could have sat inside for however long was available and then moved outside which would have been better than nothing? Again. It just seemed a very odd decision on our part, maybe an explanation would help if this were to happen again. From a customers point of view it was baffling. Further to the point above, not at any point during our stay was there ever full covers on the tables. There was always empty tables available inside. We would have even been happy with a maximum table time if that would have been offered to us. Moving on to the food, Our bread starter was nice, no complaints Our roast dinner again was nice. Everything came pretty quickly. However, it went downhill from here. We got forgotten about for a very long time after our mains, we waited an exceptionally long time to be asked if we wanted dessert. We actually finished our main and starter within 1 hour. However we spent approximately 2.5 hours at the restaurant, waiting for a waiter to come over to take our plates away and ask us if we wanted dessert. Dessert finally came, which was quite possibly the worst desserts we’ve ever experienced. I ordered a cookie and ice cream which ended up being goo and ice cream, the ‘cookie’ was non existent and was infact just goo that would drip in a soup consistency from my spoon. My husband ordered a sticky toffee pudding which wasn’t cooked. We had been polite the entire time, despite our frustrations. We were quite honestly just baffled, and although staff were very polite. We just couldn’t understand our experience. We politely asked a member of staff if the desserts were supposed to be like this and we were told, absolutely not and that they would be taken off our bill. We received 20% off, and our desserts and initial drinks were taken off which was appreciated. It’s difficult to get out with a baby, so it was disappointing that this was our experience on my husbands first Father’s Day, which was supposed to be a special day for us."

"We’d been to the tapas room in Deptford before and were looking forward to returning. But sadly this visit was disappointing from the beginning. The waiter told us quite early on that the kitchen closed at nine which is really early, especially when we had gone for tapas at 8pm. This message was then revised and repeatedly relayed, giving a strong impression that a)we shouldn’t stay long and b) the kitchen was unprepared to provide the sort of meal one should get at a tapas restaurant. This was confirmed when each plate came out individually and with ten minute intervals. The food itself was poor, with the nicest plates comprising of the food that needed the least intervention from the kitchen, and the worst being the duck breast that the chef had overcooked to a comical degree. We left hungry, irked and sure that we would not be coming back."

"this place is fabulous. we only went there after we went to the next tapas and were glad that we did. the weather was nice, so we sat outside in a private area, surrounded by plants and awaken. the music was cool and the staff really friendly and helpful with the menu, recommend great eating. we had sangria, who was thrilled in the summer sun and only ordered a few bits. we were not rushed, which was great and it was just beautiful and chilled. I would highly recommend this tapas, the prices were extremely appropriate for the quality of food and have booked for us to go back"
