Delicate anchovies with a hint of the ocean, perfect atop salads, pizza, or enjoyed on their own as a savory treat.

"Difficult to fault Twist. Delicious food. Attentive service and advice (Davido), very knowledgeable regarding wine recommendations and the creation of the dishes and heritage of the ingredients. Always enjoyable to be upstairs and so close to the Chef's as they do their work. Small restaurant so really nice atmosphere."

"We booked a table on a Sunday evening for 3 people. The first waitress who served us was quite abrupt and didn’t like us asking if we could move tables. (Even though the restaurant was empty) The one she had put is on was extremely dark as the lights above were out. The restaurant is already dimly lit and this meant we would have been struggling to see anything at all. After this, they had pretty much run out of everything on the menu, which became pretty comical by the end. They even had no fruit for the sangria! However the other waiter, was so funny and entertaining (even under stressful circumstances) it was hard not to have a great evening! The food (that was available) was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A great night, we would go back, but I would find it hard to recommend on my experience"

"Came on Saturday night with a friend, the food was good (it has been better before) the service was a bit odd, it wasn't mega busy but all the waitresses seem extremely rushed off their feet and it took longer than necessary to get drinks. We ordered sparkling water and it came in the glass rather than bottle, and we were then charge £2.50 for it. We were sat near the door to the kitchen downstairs with the smell of smoke wafting up. The waitress walked into my chair at least 4 times as she was rushing past and the bathroom was dirty. For a small place the acoustics are very bad and its extremely loud in the back room. Will come back and try again as maybe we just went on an off day!"

"four of us celebrated my brother on the 60th birthday of the law. we were very satisfied with the quality of the food. it was excellent. However, we chose the cooking menu. eating was served too fast, we had to serve the food more slowly. as the answer said the waitress that we had only 2 hours the table at 9.30 a.m. was our bill for the evening 440 £ for 4 of us. I really think that we should not have the feeling for this money that we were on a transport band. I would suggest that people do not choose the cook table menu if they only have 2 hours to eat it. the evening felt rushed overall I was disappointed."

"My friend and I shared 5 dishes between us and had a glass of wine each, the bill was £56 so is very reasonably priced overall. For me the prawns were far too expensive, £11 for four not very big prawns that were not very exciting is too much. The food was very average, the bread and anchovy butter was a waste of money. The bread was just a few bits of supermarket ciabatta with butter you could make better at home. The aubergine dish was nice, I would say the best thing we ordered. The service was below par, food was quick but there was no rapport with the waitress and she almost looked bored and annoyed to take our order. The place looks nice but is the worst tapas I have had in Manchester. I can’t say anything was horrible because it wasn’t, it was just so so average. I won’t be returning, which is a shame."

"Wow. We dined here on Monday 30th Oct 2023. Truly this is one of the very best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Please move your restaurant to Tadcaster! The other stuff: the atmosphere was lovely, calm, peaceful. The vibe from the staff was very friendly and helpful, but also standing well back giving customers the chance to enjoy the food. Perfect. The main event was of-course the food. The flavours!! The tenderness, just everything was absolutely gorgeous. A couple of nights earlier we went to an awful place in Shenfield. They had a 'Tapas ' menu, but nothing appealed, it was very noisy and one of the staff was shockingly rude......what a magnificent and stark contrast Las Tapas was! If you are looking to eat in the area, I 'd stick to Brentwood, whether you choose Las Tapas or not, it 's much better than Shenfield. Can I fault Las Tapas? No. It does cost, but the standard of the food easily justifies a few extra quid. I can 't wait to go there again. Ever since I 've been looking online trying to get recipes and directions to see if I can recreate some of that magic at home. It was the medallions and the flavours that went with it! I found one of the sauces, so I 'll have a go. Thank you, we 'll be back."

"Friendly staff and a vast menu with a great selection of nibbles and main meals. It is inexpensive and a great place to grab a bite to eat or a quick glass of wine. The staff are friendly and attentive and service was very quick! It’s part of the Fenwicks food court, which also has a number of deli’s with fresh food."

"we met the chef jai parkinson when he worked at wright brothers, so we were thrilled to experience his new venture at orange elephant. we have booked via open table for a Monday evening and so came a 50% discount offer on the exchange boards. we started with the burrata, which was beautifully presented and came with some perfectly roasted cherry tomatoes on the wine vine. we had also prepared the cortex croquettes perfectly with an intense fleshy taste. for a main thing, we shared the Tomahawk board. the 1.2 kg share was plentiful for both of us, as it also split with a small salate and two small portions of fries. a beautiful bottle malbec was the perfect companion. the board was beautifully presented and the steak perfectly cooked to our warm red preference. we like a steak with some texture so that the tomahawk was a good choice. beautiful chewing gum, perfect seaman and great taste. ricardo had looked after us all night very well and made us a delicious coffee to finish a really wonderful culinary experience. Thank you. jai ricardo"

"Me and my Friends we visited this place for the first time after choosing my wedding dresses “happy days” and I have to say that they did not disappoint us. Everything was spot on from the moment we entered till the moment we left...the restaurant. Absolutely delicious food, lovely stuff, great atmosphere, even the Manager on duty, Pier not sure if I remember correctly was checking on us and making sure everyone have the best time and everything what they need. Thank you to all Ember Yard staff for unforgettable time."

"Their food may well be amazing but unfortunately I find their social media bullying simply unacceptable. To go from reading an innocent and obviously misinferred comment to launching into a tirade of abuse towards that person, saying that persons profile 'cracked me up ', and inferring that the whole restaurant is laughing at that person seems pretty low indeed! Wouldn 't a simple old fashioned sorry you missed us, here 's a link to our opening times and we look forward to welcoming you soon have sufficed? Their fish may be ethically sourced but their 'banter ' certainly isn 't."

"There was a bit of a mixup with our reservation where they sat us in the wrong room and then we had to move. Our server was nice, but seemed to be the only one working the whole dining area so it took a while to take our order, bring the food, and then get the check. It was a longer time than we were planning to spend for just a quick work lunch. However, I feel like the food was tasty and they place is very pretty. I think if they can get the staffing/serving kinks worked out, this would be a great place!"

"Disappointing experience. Christmas lunch with two colleagues I work nearby and this restaurant had caught my attention for some time. Although ambiance was pleasant, there is better Spanish food in this city. Most disappointingly was, having a 2pm reservation we weren't informed that the kitchen closed at 2.30. When we attempted to order more tapas, we were informed the kitchen had shut. Neither the manager, nor the 2 waiters serving our table had warned us about this worse we were blamed for not having ordered on time! No apology or attempt to work something out. Left hungry and disappointed. Won't return."

"I ordered tortilla Espanola, berenjenas fritas, ensalada de esparragos, earl grey tea. In menu lots of spirits drinks and i did not find simple cup tea, but when ask, i got it. Ensalada de esparragos it is a mix of lettuce salad, fresh tomatoes, cocktail peppers, with toasted pine nuts and olive oil, decorative with 3 twig of asparagus. Interesting experience. Tasty. Thank you. Berengenas fritas it is a big pieces of aubergine fried in flour and topped agave syrup with sea salt. It is too fat, sweet and salted. Not tasty. Tortilla Espanola it's a 2 pieces of Spanish tortilla. It is look and taste like not fresh tortilla, quickly defrosted and heated on the frying pan, decorated fresh parsley. Not tasty. It is sad, this place have title La Tortilla, and serv awful tortilla. Earl grey tea were ok."

"This restaurant experience was quite poor overall. Our server lacked charisma and charm from the start, making a comment about needing the table back by a certain time as the first thing they said. The service was inattentive, with a missed food item and disappointing dishes. The octopus was good, but the chorizo was greasy and the Patatas bravas were a letdown. The coffee was average, but the espresso was weak. The server even tried to pressure us to add a tip when bringing the bill. Overall, we were very disappointed with La Feria and would not return. Despite having enjoyed other meals in Harrogate, this restaurant did not meet our expectations."

"Rude staff, rushed service, very disappointing experience. Unfortunately I came here for my boyfriend’s birthday and was met with rude staff who rushed us out after 1 hour 30 mins, even though we waited a long time to be served. Wasked if we could swap to a nicer table but excuses were made as to why we couldn’t. We were so full and couldn’t eat a dessert so I asked if there was anything they could do for a birthday celebration a cocktail or something sweet that was small but they said no, we have to order a whole dessert. Wouldn’t come here if you want a special experience."

"There's a point out there where the very unfashionable City gives way to the uber fashionable Shoreditch and Eyre Brothers has for the past decade operated on what must be the border. In an uncharacteristic club night for one half of the CC, the DSLR left at home given its bulk but the compact slipped in to my back pocket, my pre club filler was what the website describes as London's finest, authentic Iberian food'. Clubbing aside, there's clearly a need to investigate. The menu is rich in Portuguese offerings, but in addition to this, if you know in advance that you're coming, you can with a day's notice order Andalusian rabbit and rice, or Portuguese style whole roast sucking pig. "The service was delightful, and the atmosphere was inviting. The food was remarkable, particularly the fig hummus and the shawarma made with lamb and chicken. To top it all off, the baklava is a must-try—it's light and wonderfully sweet!"

"The food is very good but I would say overall this restaurant is quite overpriced. The lunch menu seems like a good deal beforehand, but then the drinks are quite expensive £6.60 for a can cider) and a 12.50% is added to the final bill as service charge, which was not disclosed before handling out the bill and I ended up paying without realising. I am not sure why I have to pay 12.50% extra for having the food delivered to the table, when the waiter did not even check if everything was ok afterwards. I would think this is basic service and would not have to pay extra for it. To sum up, even I really enjoy the food and atmosphere, I would not be coming back, it all felt like a rip-off and the service was not great."

"Dreadful meal and poor service. Ordered a starter of 5 scallops, dish arrived with 3 scallops. Ordered Fish and chips, but fish batter was pale and insipid and chips under cooked. Catch of the day main meal was small in size and cost £25, which wasn’t stated on the menu. Offered free desserts, but as we’d waited 90mins for meals declined but only offered 2 free glasses of wine. No mid meal check up. Asked for some bread to soak up the sauce, which arrived 20 mins later to be presented with some rock hard, burnt garlic bread. Have visited twice before and had lovely experiences. Sadly, not this time. Won’t be visiting again or recommending."
