"The laughably poor Irish coffees were almost understandable, but not actually sure how a ‘French restaurant’ albeit faux French, can actually cook a baked Camembert and get it so wrong. The rest of the food was just poor, added to which was generally haphazard service pushy and rushed at the start of the meal vs slow and unco ordinated for after dinner drinks and deserts. "We were looking for a nice spot to fine alfresco on a Sunday afternoon and fell upon aubaine. We wish we hadn't. Boring menu, terrible value for money and appalling service. Normally I would avoid a french restaurant at all costs in order to avoid the typical snooty know it all french waiter. As it was a sunday, the sun was shining and the place was hiving I thought well let's give it a try. We waited 20 minutes for a menu. Another 10 for the wine menu and then to top it all the snooty French waiter arrived. "Whilst we come here quite frequently and really enjoy the dinners, unfortunately on this occasion we were really let down by the service. We had a table booked for 20:30, and we arrived bang on time. We were told our table would be available in 5 10 mins which is absolutely fine so we waited outside. After 15 mins they apologized that the table was taking slightly longer to vacate than expected so offered us a table outside with some free olives until we could be seated at our table. Unfortunately however, 45 mins passed and we were still not given our table which we had booked in advance. We questioned why we couldn't have our table despite booking, and were informed that they could not do anything to resolve this the party who had the table were overstaying their booking slot (18:30 20:30) and the waitress did not feel she could ask the table to vacate. We feel they could have simply asked the table to politely vacate as their booking slot was finished and they needed the table, but they did not want to do this. Sadly having lost faith in ever getting our table we had to go elsewhere."

"We ordered two craft beers little fawn. They were good, with a taste of fennel in it. The second time at brickyard, I ordered a beer from Munich. Was really light. I also ordered a buttermilk chicken burger that tasted basic and good. All burgers come with fries. Their trio of beef sliders tastes really good (looks like a mini burger). Lastly, we also ordered their poppadom nachos topped with three chutneys, tastes quite indian but the sauces make the poppadoms go soggy. This pub has a good vibe."

"It was a very comfortable, relaxing, safe and enjoyable experience. Even in a pandemic, Brickyard follows the guidelines and has many seating options with space around you. The food is always 10/10 and a great variety of craft beers on tap, with great cocktails too. If you enjoy the beer or cocktail, you can buy some growlers to go. The Pornstar Martini is my favorite because it’s not so sweet it makes your teeth hurt like other places. You can just sit back and enjoy it and take a double to go home . The Service is always friendly, honest and prompt. We enjoy their brunches too their Mimosa is out of this world and Bailey Lattes hit the spot. For this holiday season, I’m loving their Christmas Sando and their Korean Pancakes are always a staple with our family and group of friends. The Burgers are tasty too they even have a Vegan Burger my vegan friends love. The Chicken wings are yummy in the tummy with all of the variety of flavors tickling your tastebuds and Vegan friendly options of “cauliflower wings” so you can get something tasty. If you like real American hot spicy Brickyard has unlocked this formula and know how to do it well while not destroy the taste of the food. Again Brickyard’s food is 10/10"

"I was unaware that this cafe had changed ownership. It used to be absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, the quality has significantly declined since the new management took over. The staff member was friendly and attentive, however, the food was terrible. It was all cheap and poorly prepared. The sausage was tough, the fried egg was overcooked with a hard yolk and burnt edges, the beans were low quality, and the toast was pre-buttered with nasty margarine, not even buttered to the edges. I believe toast should be presented without being covered in butter and given a separate butter square to add yourself. In any case, I suggest not wasting your money here and finding another place to eat."

"This restaurant is a beautiful place that I believe is facing difficulties due to the bad news of COVID-19. People may be feeling confused, but I encourage them not to lose hope. The restaurant could benefit from having a front person, a host who can connect with customers and bring energy into the business. We were unsure about the food, but it seemed to be a mix of Moroccan and Turkish cuisine. I wish the restaurant good luck in the future, and I will definitely be back to show my support."
