"We were looking for a nice spot to fine alfresco on a Sunday afternoon and fell upon aubaine. We wish we hadn't. Boring menu, terrible value for money and appalling service. Normally I would avoid a french restaurant at all costs in order to avoid the typical snooty know it all french waiter. As it was a sunday, the sun was shining and the place was hiving I thought well let's give it a try. We waited 20 minutes for a menu. Another 10 for the wine menu and then to top it all the snooty French waiter arrived. I asked if the entrecôte was fatty, the response was it depends on the piece When asked how I wanted it cooked I said well done on the outside and pink in the middle. so you...read more"

I love this restaurant! the vibe is amazing there! they can find great food quality. the service is professional. I had a big laugh to start a hunch as the main plate, both are lovely.

this is a small and beautiful caffe along the main railway of london. Eating is impressive and based on quick bites along the company. beautiful background-n limited menu. ambiente is cool n appealing.

I am afraid this place is all form over function. Beautiful dining room but waiter was useless, food order was a mess and food was cold. The **** Mary was lacking in vodka and a dreadful eggs benedict. A real shame!

In a nice courtyard just off Heddon Street, is one of the Aubaine group’s restaurants. Designed with large windows and furniture in gentle shades of grey, Aubaine gives you the feeling that you’ve left busy London for some elegant winter garden in the countryside.

we drove to mayfair from Trafalgar Square when the hungerpangs beat. we quickly came to the heddon street, which is quite filled with restaurants, the famous celebrity gordon ramsays heddon street kitchen we decide to take a quick bite of aubaine overlooking the heddon street kitchen. it was a pleasant sunny afternoon and we decided to sit outside our order was a simple fish and chips. it took about 15 minutes until the court came to our table. but we also got a broth basket with two kinds of broth and butter and tomaten ketchup and mayonnaise on the side. the fried kehlkopf itself was beautiful with greens, chips and...read more

magnifique! After arriving in london, the one restaurant name that appears again and again is aubaine I usually prefer to clearly steer the chain restaurants, but the cake fresh, seasonal and French sucked at me despite 6 restaurants in london, the decor was surprisingly intimate and refreshing. pariser style lighting with cozy cream stands and small white chairs on the bar create the ideal atmosphere. pastel macarons teeter in stacking in the window and glass jars of meringues decorate the regale. every table has candles and flowers..so delicious French the regular menu is divine, but the daily speciality list was perfect for me! I decided to...read more

Good and bad at classy French restaurant. I'm in two minds about this restaurant. There were plenty of good aspects the place is very cosy and the miniature Christmas trees and candles on the table help to make it feel intimate; the service was generally friendly; five of the seven dishes we ordered were excellent, including the posh desserts However, there was always something negative to cancel the positives. My partner's duck magret special was incredibly tough she struggled to cut it and it took her ages to eat it; the ladies loos were filthy and had run out of toilet paper; and our server, who'd been so friendly while we ordered, avoided eye contact as we left Overall...read more
