"Went here for lunch. Friendly greeting. Ordered food and coffee. Happy to wait a while, but after half an hour we noticed people who came in after us had been served so we politely asked a waiter how much longer it would. The person in charge came up to ask us what we had ordered. It was immediately apparent our order wasn't even being processed. We decided to leave, expressing our disappointment and annoyance. The person in charge then told us they didn't like our attitude did she actually think we would be happy with such poor service? and told us not to come back. As if we would after that experience! I can't rate the food since we didn't get any, but the food served to other diners looked good. But the poor service and terrible attitude would make me say avoid this place."

"The laughably poor Irish coffees were almost understandable, but not actually sure how a ‘French restaurant’ albeit fauxFrench, can actually cook a baked Camembert and get it so wrong. The rest of the food was just poor, added to which was generally haphazard service pushy and rushed at the start of the meal vs slow and uncoordinated for after dinner drinks and deserts. We have had passable Aubaine before in Mayfair, but this was just a big fail for Ken’ High St’"

"We were looking for a nice spot to fine alfresco on a Sunday afternoon and fell upon aubaine. We wish we hadn't. Boring menu, terrible value for money and appalling service. Normally I would avoid a french restaurant at all costs in order to avoid the typical snooty know it all french waiter. "The first course arrived promptly, but it was a significant disappointment. We ordered half a duck and pancakes, expecting a reasonable portion, but what we received was the tiniest serving imaginable. It bore no resemblance to the half duck we usually enjoy at other restaurants. What we had was dry, bland, and not worth the £30 price tag. To make matters worse, our main courses were served before they had cleared away the plates from our first course, leaving us with no space on the table for the entrees. We had to literally request that they clean the table so we could fit the main dishes. The restaurant was quite empty, and it felt like they wanted us to leave as quickly as possible so they could close up. When we voiced our concerns about the food and service, the staff laughed at us, which was incredibly unprofessional. It's no wonder the restaurant was so empty. Located in the Dorsett Hotel in a busy area of London, none of the six of us plan to return. Although we had considered staying at the hotel on our next trip due to its affordability, this experience has ensured that we will not be returning, as it poorly reflects on the hotel’s overall reputation."

"it was the beginning of a wonderful evening. I had to write on my way to bluegrass to say I had to respond to a text that I received from bluegrass with the number one to say I am on my way, except that it was okay. I have to sit on the back where they have a secret entrance nights that was really cool to see and I would recommend that. I had the spicy chicken wings with sweet potatoes and maize on the cob with what I would say, the smallest amount of coleslaw I have ever seen in a small cup, but I would say that this was the only bad side to the meal my chicken wings were classic recipe and very grill aromen and the mais on the cob had a spicer aroma to him. we ordered the bar, although they can order online with the small app I just felt like I wanted to talk to someone who was really nice so they either have the choice. I would recommend starting point for an evening. very quiet so that they talk and have a really nice attitude so that was good."

"In my opinion, this is the best Chinese takeout in Aberdeen. However, the service can be inconsistent, ranging from excellent to only average. Today, I had only two prawns in my curry, whereas in the past week there were at least 7 or 8. I also had an extra dish added to my order without my consent and was charged extra for it. When I asked about the price, the staff member seemed disgruntled."

"This was a couple of months ago, but as Ive added a review for a good place I ate at today, I noticed this Cafe was also listed and I feel it only right to put my experience on here.Myself and 3 friends were looking for somewhere to eat on a shopping trip, we are all adults, polite, happy people who have known each other for 20 years. We went in for lunch. We ordered 4 breakfasts, nothing special.3 breakfasts turned up. The forth took another ten minutes. My friend was a bit unhappy as he wanted to be eating with the rest of us but as it was minor he didnt say anything and waited patiently. His breakfast then turned up, minus the bacon. He went up to the counter, politely pointed our his was missing his bacon and requested some, the woman behind the counter, took the plate back, without uttering a word. My friend, not wanting to cause her a problem, just quietly sat back down.Another 5 minutes went by, by now 3 of us have finished and were just waiting on the 4th to get what was ordered. but still no food.Another 5 minutes, and my friend gets up to politely ask what the hold up is as we 've now all finished and he still hasn 't had his food back to begin eating. A flippant blunt reply came back from the staff member, to which my friend said, "do know what, don 't worry about it, my friends have finished, we 've already paid, and we need to be going "The response back was the woman remarking loudly to her staff members NOT to serve us ever again.The food was fine, the stick up her butt however is another matter.Useless service, bad manners.
