"I made a reservation for a large group in advance for a Friday lunch. The only time slots available were 11am or 1pm, so we chose 1pm. The bar staff seemed very busy and stressed when we arrived, and they were not happy about our group ordering individually. I had called over a week in advance to inquire about pre-ordering for a large group, but the person I spoke to seemed confused and said they would call me back, which never happened. We had difficulty ordering food together at the bar and splitting payments, so it took a long time for us to order through one staff member. As a result, the food arrived gradually and some dishes took a long time. Although we were warned about this upon arrival, we would have expected better staffing for such a large booking. It would have been better if the booking system had offered a midday option to avoid the lunchtime rush. The food was good and reasonably priced, but I would not recommend booking for a large group or going during peak times."

"I had a burger with a bun that was drenched in melted butter, making it incredibly greasy and unpleasant to hold. It left my hands filthy. The restaurant was initially nice and quiet, perfect for chatting over lunch with colleagues. However, as it got busier, they kept turning up the music, making it hard to hear and forcing us to shout over our meals. Not everyone wants to shout over lunch and it made me hesitant to return."

"We went for the brunch menu which we have had before and me and my partner brought friends who where over from Ireland. I dont why it had changed from the way is used to be set up but it was terrible, the food to help your self too wasnt even ready and out when we turned up so we had to wait before we could get any soup and bread, then range of starters was tiny and terrible but just in bigger bowls than it used to be. It was about 15 minute wait for the bread rolls, and then took the staff over 20 after we had finished the soup before relaising we had and asled if we wanted the roast which took over 15 minutes to come out and even when it did the veg was burnt and discoloured, things where missing off 3 of the 4 plates and one of my friends didnt eat any of it as it was that bad. A couple behind us didnt eat much of theres and a table of 20 there for a birthday also complained about thr tiny selection of starter food but when they did the chief brought a larger selection out which annoyed us further as we didnt get a the offer of a bigger selection. The staff didnt have a brain cell between then, tables where left dirty for over hald a hour and they still where sorted properly when we left. We had to clear our own plated into the bar so we had some room and there was plenty off staff but the women just followed each other round like lost sheep. The only one with a braincell was the guy who was the manger but even then he couldnt do it all on his own or manage the staff well. We where told the way that is set up is going to change again and it wont even be an all you can eat section and just set course meals. We will not be back again and will be telling people not to go either"

"Went for Sunday lunch, booked for 4.15pm. Went for the 3 course option. Starters looked as if they had been out for a while, quite a few options still available. Choice of 2 mains, either turkey with stuffing and pigs in blankets and cranberry, or beef with horseradish, both with roast potatoes, Yorkshire’s, carrots, cabbage and sprouts. Both looked as if they had been thrown on the plate, weren’t hot, beef was dry, veg was soggy, and the turkey came without stuffing or pigs in blankets! Did arrive when asked but were dry, burnt and crozzled. Went for desert, all that was left was pan au chocolate and 1 berry compote, when we asked why there were no other options we were told it was the end of service. I said why advertise the times for three courses when there was nothing left? They did manage to conjure up 4 lemon muffins! My daughter had booked this for a special occasion, and it was totally spoiled. She did complain and had a reduced bill, but that was not the point. My daughter is a regular customer there with friends and usually eats earlier and has enjoyed the meal, so I think the advice would be go earlier! I won’t go again as I thought it was quite noisy, but there was a rugby match on at the time."

"I was a bit disappointed with my experience. I had booked a table to celebrate my birthday with my family, expecting a carvery, but upon arrival, there was no carvery in sight. Instead, we were offered a pre-plated roast and a selection of starters from the chef's table. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to choose a dessert because they had all run out. Additionally, since the restaurant is now part of the bar, the noise level was unbearable due to the large number of football fans focused on the big TVs. It’s such a shame that the bar and restaurant aren’t separate areas. Overall, I'm sorry to say we were disappointed."

"Took our parents for Sunday lunch ... We've been a number of times before and always really enjoyed the food and the service was always superb. This was our first visit since the refurb. Initial observation was that it is now more of a sports bar than a restaurant, which was exacerbated by the large TV screens above the central bar and loud chart music, not conducive to a pleasant dining experience. Starters were okay. The main meal however left a lot to be desired and that's exactly what all four of us did .... We left a lot! We each left the majority of our meal. First fail was the lack of hot plates. The food was bland, no taste, pigs in blankets and roast potatoes we're under cooked, whilst the sprouts were so watery I couldn't eat them and the parsnips were soggy and also inedible (this from a woman who loves her veg) On a positive note the gammon and the Yorkshire pudding were tasty. Beef was tough. When the waitress came over to ask if everything was alright we gave her our feedback. She said she'd tell the chef, and returned a short while later to say the chef sent his apologies! That was it. I thought it was usual for the chef to apologise personally not send someone else to do it for him? We thought we'd make up for the main course by enjoying the profritaroles ... Nope, rock hard with the choux pastry like cardboard. I understand why you have to pay for your meal BEFORE you eat now!! Very disappointed at what wasn't a cheap lunch at £75 for four carveries and four soft drinks. Did expect at least an apology from management but no one even came to speak to us."

"We had made a reservation for 3pm and were presented with two menu options upon arrival at the restaurant. After deciding on the Sunday menu, we were informed that it had stopped being served at 3pm. It was disappointing that the option was still offered to us. The food was decent but not particularly satisfying, and we didn't feel it was worth the price. There are more affordable and higher-quality dining options available in the area."

I called a week ahead to ask if we needed to pre-order for a large group, but the person I spoke to seemed confused and said they would call back, which they never did. We couldn't order food together at the bar and split payments, as it was too complicated. It took a long time for all of us to order with only one employee taking our orders, resulting in food coming out gradually and some dishes taking longer than others. We were warned about this upon arrival, but we expected there to be enough staff to handle a large booking. Alternatively, the booking system should have allowed us to book for lunch before the peak time. The food was good and affordable, but I would not recommend booking for a large group or during peak hours."

"Was quite disappointed with the restaurant and bar. I ordered a glass of prosecco and got half a flute of flat prosecco. My second glass was then overflowing... Food was a major disappointment. My calamari came out in a bamboo steamer mix up of countries there... it was also not the best quality, and at almost £10, I would expect better! I then had the chicken Kiev which had no garlic filling so was just a breaded chicken breast with no seasoning. Service wasn't great no real care for the customers."

"Poor service. I had a reservation so waited at the desk for someone to come. 10 minutes I stood alone being ignored. I finally had to go to bar where I was told I could sit anywhere. I advised that I had a reservation. They then sent another staff member over by this time 20 mins after I entered. I was asked my name and gave it. Then I was told there was no record of my reservation. Since I had proof on my phone we compared devices and my reservation was clearly visible on their tablet device. By the time I ordered my food 30 mins had passed. When it came the black and blue stack was glorious but the noise levels and sitting asa solo diner between two large tables (10 people each) of families with children made it a poor experience"

"Unfortunately I was under the impression that this was a restaurant booked a table for my partner myself as it was his Birthday. It was a very loud, unorganised, messy sports bar. The food drink were very expensive. Restaurant prices for Pub grub . Had to order all food at the bar including desserts. The waiter was pleasant enough but was clearly rushed off his feet trying to keep up with the food coming out from the kitchen whilst there was numerous bar staff stood around chatting. I will not be returning."

"I ordered grits with cheese but received plain grits with no cheese or butter, which was very bland. My coffee, requested light and sweet with almond milk and hazelnut, was also incorrect. I was very disappointed with the overall experience, so proceed with caution when ordering from this restaurant."

"Great food. About 15mins until ready. Got smokehouse burger and Cajun chicken wrap. Also available but couldn't get photo without looking creepy. Hatch veggie wrap, beef brisket wrap, chicken satay loaded fries, chicken and bacon fries (think had chilli sauce, spicy spicy but good). Also sides, Sausage, smashed avocado, smoked bacon, poached eggs, black pudding, crispy onions and caramelised onions. Few more things but not too sure what. Breakfast menu in photo. Can't comment on coffee but coke bottles etc available"

"before my naked famous concert there were some time to kill, so I went into the seemingly busy – and popular – fatburger in camden town. as it was on Tuesday, there was a special promotion with an additional plump with each burger. yes! I went for the crispy chicken sandwich and a side of the fat fries but disappointment! there was about a minute waiting for the food and when it arrived, it looked good, but it didn't taste good. the chicken has a crispy, fried crispy and inside was meat, but it was bone dry with not a single sense of a juice. more mayo (or even salate, I dare to say) was urgently needed and the riders also suffered the same problems, it was dry and a hard eating. "Ordered through UberEats. We got two burgers, two sexy fries and a mac and cheese. The burger bun was dry, the sexy fries were absolutely nothing like the photos and at a whopping £5 each, I would have expected something half presentable. The Mac and cheese was an absolute joke. We got the side but there were barely two spoons of Mac and cheese in a tub which was 10% full. See pictures. You can see the shadow on the outside of the tub which indicates how full the Mac and cheese tub was.We tried to call the restaurant to complain but no answer and auto response from ubereats telling us feedback will be passed on.I’ll never order again from here."

"Ordered two burgers, two fries, chicken strips and macaroni bites for just over £30 on a Tuesday night. We were told our order had been delivered at 21:00, although it hadn 't. Waited until 21:30 before I tried to ring, a few times with no answer from the restaurant. Contacted JustEat and got a text through saying the order was almost with us. It arrived around 21:50. We were so excited, with burgers on the menu at £9 £11 and a portion of fries at almost £4.00, however we opted for the meal deals at £9.50 average each) we were expecting something way above average. The food was honestly barely warm. I only wish we had taken pictures the burgers buns were what you 'd expect from a cheap chippy or somewhere not specialising in burgers), my partners burger salad consisted of a few strips of iceberg, one small slice of tomato, and unbelievably, THE BASE STUMP OF THE ICEBERG!! Chips had the potential to taste great but they arrived barely warm and were limp and soggy. Mozzarella bites obviously bought in. Chicken strips were okay. We wouldn 't have felt so disappointed had we 'd ordered this from a bog standard kebab house type place, but at the price they charge we really were expecting something special :"
