To Hungry Horse The Bridge Inn

Late decision for some Sunday food at the Bridge Inn. Fish and chips was very good as was the Abbot ale. Excellent value for money. Can't really go wrong in the Bridge Inn, staff very friendly and good service.

I had buffalo chicken wrap and dirty fries. I wasn't sure which dirty fries to get but the lad behind the bar was very helpful and suggested I get the ones with mozzarella and spring onions. Overall, amazing food and decent drinks too. Lovely hotel in all

Visited the restaurant for the first time and found it very spacious and well staffed. The food was excellent but not a lot of vegetables to choose from. There didn't seem to be any indication of Gluten Free foods or vegetarian dishes. Not sure that I would return there.

Rainy day, took my 4 children to Bridge Inn to their soft play. They had a fantastic time, the food was yummy and good value £10.79 for a sharing platter (next time I will order extra portion of chips), Service was quick and friendly. Nappy changing very conveniently located right next to soft play. Parking really easy

It's a Hungry Horse. That should tell you what you need to know. Cheap and cheerful. Not the best quality food, but it's still enjoyable and you certainly won't go hungry. And it's cheap. Good value. On the night we were there it seemed to have a high proportion of new and very young staff, so service was a little slow and slightly haphazard, but nothing to complain about.

Mostly good had three meals three now, but the last 1 today flies everywhere landing on food whilst eating. Probably because someone pegged all the doors open. More like the hungry horse fly today. Should have kept the doors shut and perhaps netted open windows. Or a outdoor to indoor ventilator with say pollen filters fitted. The odd fly gets in I understand but we had six. Soon as the plates were cleared the flies did to off to bother the next guess i suppose. Went back today tried the chicken tikka. Was like water and the hottest iv had give that slop a miss

The Bed was solid, Our room hadn't been cleaned properly the floor needing hoovering. Also, there was multiple of hairs in the bath. Food was overcooked and hard, breakfast was basically inedible, raw eggs and gritty sausages, frozen butter that you couldnt spread or the burnt toast. I appericate it's a budget hotel but the quality was horrendous. I was sent a 20percent of FOOD voucher when booking, which I couldnt use as the staff wouldn't accept it. Reception told me it had to be used at the bar and then the bar staff told me it has to go through reception. I wouldn't return.

It was a lovely place to stay perfect for our location didn't go much on cooked breakfast it was over cooked my tomato was so over cooked it was flat and split on my plate. Egg was rock hard . My sister was told that the kiddies play area a b open soon. Then when i asked about 1/2hrs later we were told short staff so not opening today. When we arrived the day before the lunch neaks looked nice. The rooms was good had what u need had tea and coffee facilities duvet covers we found heavy but that was down to preference bed was comfortable. We would stay again but i wont have cooked breakfast

What a disappointment. Food was less than ok, cold and hard chicken, no cutlery bought to us, even after asking for it there was none at the other end of the restaurant where we were told to get it from. 8 minutes the staff member took to find some and it was all grubby. A manager was rude to my child and pulled up on it by a young member of staff. No one knew the menu. Floor was sticky, table was super loud squeaky and although I understand plastic being served in the children’s area it was in such poor condition the water resembled muddy water.
