"Located at the tip of Findhorn, this cafe is a fantastic spot with a great selection of food and drinks. It is also dog friendly, making it a perfect place for pet owners. After dining, take a walk down to the shore for a lovely experience. The parking situation can be a bit tricky as the track to the car park next to the restaurant is a bit rough, but there is another car park on the right just before it, next to the motorhome site. The service is top-notch, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere is also excellent, earning another 5 out of 5 rating. The price per person for a meal is around £20-30. Some recommended dishes include the Fish Finger Sandwich. Overall, this cafe comes highly recommended for a delicious meal. Free parking is available in the parking lot."

"oh dear, if ever a restaurant has gone to the dogs, this is it! Cheap in house menu's, portions cut by 50%, atmosphere dire, music so load that you could not hold a conversation, even placing an order was difficult. No chardonay, no gamon, no way will this place survive. We used to love it here, everything has been cut to the bone to save cost, the place used to be rammed at the weekends, not today (Sun), the place was less than half full. It will be a long, long time before we come again...if ever.....if it is still open...... The quality of the food was OK, just much, much smaller portions than in the past."

"Out of the many resturants I have had burgers and chips in, I have never had them as good as I have had in JoJo's, and the diner itself is a small, comfortable place with two floors, and with a bar on the first, with welcoming and friendly staff. They are currently closed in persons of typing this currently, with a sign saying they will be back in spring, but their delivery service is still avaliable, with timeslots delivery options and also the best packaging I have recieved for a food delivery, with the food being nearly as hot as it would be if it were just out the kitchen, a first for me using delivery services. All in all, amazing, thank you JoJo's!"

"a new place for us and not disappointed. 100% vegan fast food restaurant with pleasant ambiente and cheerful staff. probably not the place when they are on a health eating jaunt! all taste great, but just went to my ever-growing waist. "I booked a fancy dress party for my 30th here and I have to say everything that I sought in the venue, belushis offered. Facilities TV screens (my content) Music (my playlist) Decorateable room Beer Pong Good lighting What more do you need. I went in and met the staff before hand to check it out, and they had already preprepared a super hero themed cocktail menu as per my request... But they'd gone all out. Staff What amazed me about here was that every single member of staff was kind, helpful and friendly. They supported me above and beyond with some Av problems, they reassured me when I was worried about identifying my guests for minimum spend,and staff kept popping in to check we were ok. Vibe If you want a laid back sports bar this is good. Personally not a massive fan of the sports element and there was a big game on while I was setting g up the demographic was intensely male. Its cheap and cheerful and the food is bar snacks of the same type. My superhero themed party was a stressful event because the staff there were amazing, For my night it was 500 minimum spend for the room, with 30-40 guests having cocktails from 7pm, we had reached it by 11ish. I would say it's a good deal, and for me ended up being significantly easier to host there instead of my house!"

"Although we haven't stayed at this restaurant, we have dined here frequently. The food is fantastic, the service is top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable. They have plenty of tables and outdoor seating, making it convenient for walk-ins, but they also have a booking system on their website for those who prefer to reserve a table. The Sunday roast is particularly good, offering 2 courses for £22, and the menu has a variety of options to suit all tastes. The specials always feature something unique and delicious, and every meal we've had there has been expertly cooked and presented. Based on our dining experiences, I would imagine that this restaurant is also a great place to stay overnight. Additionally, its close proximity to the beach is a definite advantage for guests in good weather."

"I came back and had to try the steaks, after watching them go by last time I was in. Coll, my affable host for the evening suggested I try the blue cheese rump steak, and boy am I glad I did. I'm normally not one for long reviews, but in this case it's merited : It has to be one of the best steaks I have had in Edinburgh, and almost matching up to Black and Blue in Vancouver (a compliment I would toss out lightly , I just managed to resist the urge to lick the plate to get the last of the rich blue cheese sauce. Totally worth checking out next time you have the urge to eat steak : Was out and about looking for somewhere to check out for dinner, and Yelp suggested dropping in here. Very glad I did : Burger deliciousness, they are giving Bread Meats Bread and Burger Meats Bun a run for their money. They recently renovated I was told. Very nice, friendly service, and a great burger, will have to stop back to check out the steaks I saw going by :"

"What do you want me to say? an absolute diamant of a restaurant. fantastic eating with a beautiful view of the harbour, from the terrace. I have booked a late family dinner to the birthday of my wife so we could see the harbour, the bay and the pier at sunset. 5 of us, with ease (in advance booked.) service was great, polite and with a smile. Praise was beautiful, the plague was divine and the children loved their seabass and seaweed. everything really fresh and cooked after their desire. I will definitely book again if we are next to the neck of the forest."

"Yesterday, myself and five friends went to Brighton Lost Boys for a meal. We all placed our orders at the same time and sat down with our drinks, waiting for our food. The bar staff seemed uninterested in taking our orders and instead preferred to chat with friends at the bar. We were given bluetooth alarm devices that would flash red when our food was ready, indicating that we could pick it up from the kitchen window. We were also told we could get sauces and condiments from there. However, it was difficult to figure out the process, and I had to go back and forth between the bar and kitchen window three times with no success. After waiting for around 45 minutes and hunting for sauce, my device finally flashed, so I went to collect my food. Unfortunately, there was no one at the kitchen window to ask for sauces, so I had to eat my plain chips without any condiments. The burger was well made and presented, but it was a bit lacking in meat. The taste was decent, but not worth the nearly hour-long wait for a simple meal. My friends waited another 15 minutes after me, resulting in us all eating at different times and defeating the purpose of having a meal together. Even though we ordered basic menu items, the service was disappointing. This experience has left me with no desire to return for average chicken burgers and poor service."

"Awful meal tonight at The Acorn. Starter came out in five minutes, so when forty five minutes later there was no sign of the main meal, it was clear that something was up, so a member of staff had to be approached. When it did eventually appear, the steak ordered as a medium rare was very much on the side of rare (oozing with blood), and the 'sizzling ' aspect of the course seemed to have given the chef the impression that he didn 't need to cook the mushrooms and tomatoes, so therefore the hot plate would do the work for them. Onion rings were limp, lifeless, and had clearly seen the fryer for only the briefest periods. Onions themselves were charcoal. Chicken stack wasn 't much better, with the meat overcooked and the 'crispy buttermilk ' coating taking its name to the most extreme level and falling off upon touch. Chips were fine. I paid for the meal, I don 't believe in not doing so, as wages need to be paid and costs have to be managed. It would though have been nice to have the opportunity to share my opinion with a member of staff. Pub or not, a brief visit from one of the team during the meal is always a nice touch. Upon paying, the staff member behind the bar seemed more preoccupied with discussing cocktails with her visiting friend than 1) asking if my meal was nice, 2) giving me eye contact, and 3) engaging in even the most cursory element of customer service. Not great."

"During our recent visit to Castle Kitchen at Galgorm Resort, we were once again disappointed with the quality of the food. Our complimentary meal turned out to be a letdown from start to finish. My chicken wings starter had dead flies in it, and the roast beef main course was tough and chewy, making it inedible. The dessert, a chocolate orange mousse, was overly sweet and lacked flavor. Despite our dissatisfaction, no alternatives were offered apart from a simple apology from a waiter. This experience was a far cry from what we had hoped for, especially considering our previous stomach issues after dining at Galgorm. We expressed our concerns with management through email, but only received another apology in response. It appears that the Galgorm Resort has declined in quality, and we advise avoiding their restaurants if you wish to avoid a similar disappointment. We certainly will not be returning."

"The pub boasts a large parking lot with accessible spaces and a ramp leading to the entrance, making it wheelchair-friendly with wide doors for easy access. On nicer days, there's a spacious beer garden, although it's located next to a busy main road. The food offers straightforward 'pub grub'—not overly creative, but well-prepared and delicious, with generous portions. The kitchen has an excellent hygiene rating of 5. For entertainment, there are TVs with Sky Sports, as well as a pool table and dartboard. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to spend some time, whether for an afternoon drink or an evening out."
