Spicy buffalo sauce draped over crispy chicken, served with a side of creamy ranch for a savory, tangy punch.

"Gourmet Burger Kitchen (or GBK to those in the know is a relatively new addition to York’s eateries, having sprung up on Lendal about a year ago. As such it’s still very smart and shiny inside, with lots of glass and nice-looking wood poshing' up the interior enough to signify that this is NOT a fast food restaurant. No bright plastics used here! (I must confess to a nasty habit of forgetfully calling it ‘Gourmet Burger King’!)GBK specialises in top quality burgers and what a choice! There are about ten different choices of beef burger, four chicken, five vegetarian and five extra-special specials (buffalo or wild boar burger anyone? Everything is extremely tasty, but having worked my way through a fair bit of the menu I have settled on the rather “old school” favourite of the cheeseburger! Burgers are all under a tenner, but you do have to get fries and sides separately. An average meal with wine would be but you can reduce that enormously by laying your hands on a for voucher (available on the internet at the moment).Would definitely recommend GBK for a quick bite at the start of your evening, as the quality of burger will not be found elsewhere in York. However, it’s not a great venue for a leisurely meal with friends, as they don’t seem to expect you to want to take your time over things. My friend and I enjoyed burgers and bottle of wine while diners around us came and went; we ended up sitting in a deserted restaurant being hoovered around and cash very noisily being counted up … and it was only"

"Two minutes from Kentish Town station is the new branch of Joe’s Southern Kitchen Bar. Having walked past its Covent Garden branch, I always made a mental note to visit it. But as the London food scene keeps on expanding, so does my list of restaurants/cafes/popups to visit To celebrate the opening of Joe’s in Kentish Town and to showcase Executive Chef Trevor Tobin (Steam Rye, The Big Easy and Goodman) and his team’s culinary finesse in the kitchen, we were invited down for the press night. Whilst we had a large corner table, the place was quite busy for 6:30PM in the evening as it was also open to the general public. Hence, you can tell whether the restaurant is genuinely...read more"

"Really friendly staff, quick and efficient service and really well cooked flavoursome meats. The sides to the dishes let the experience down though with over roasted potatoes and bland vegetarian dishes. The music also didn't help the atmosphere if you are trying to make someone feel special then a mix of Heart FM classics and 90's indie probably isn't what many people are after."

"Every time I visit The Strip Joint, I am reminded of how much I love this place! The venue has a nice industrial decor and comfortable booths that can accommodate medium to large parties. There is outdoor seating available to enjoy the occasional sunshine. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic. Honestly, whenever I go with friends, we always order their top-notch wings and loaded fries to share. This time, we decided to try the steak and peppercorn wings, which quickly became my favorite. I opted for the buffalo wings, which were tasty, although I would have preferred them to be a bit spicier. The restaurant offers a decent selection of beers and cocktails at reasonable prices. I have no complaints about this place!"

"what for a profit of a fund! for the day to cantebury landed and did not expect to find such a beautiful health food café. very popular, people in and out there small caffe great to see healthy food caffes decrease as these. the menu is great and food deliveries in taste can easily compete with any local iondon health café. healthy desserts are not all healthy, as sugar only the datum balls are a safe bet. the coca hot drink is something I never had, an amazing one! their only failure is their service, a little disprganized, especially with regard to their bills. the only place to go to cantebury!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed the milkbutter buffalo burger! The fried chicken was incredibly crispy and tasted wonderful with the addition of cheese. The bun was fantastic as well. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly to my liking. My only suggestion would be for the onion rings to be a bit crispier, but overall, it was a solid meal. I will definitely be returning, no questions asked!"

"Absolute find on our staycation.. The food was just Devine, getting the 100% approval from 2 fussy teenagers. We had breakfast there the first day of our staycation and ended up having dinner that evening and breakfast and dinner the following day there it was that good. The breakfast pancakes were a massive hit with the children and the omelettes were just delicious. For dinner the pizza was outstanding, we couldn’t finish it so we brought it back to our hotel later. The bacon and cheese burger was second to none. My husband had the mixed grill and he said it was divine. All the staff were exceptionally efficient, friendly and we felt perfectly safe and protected while dining there. All in all an absolute must if you visit Dublin... you won’t be disappointed."

"I was originally considering the 3-star option, but I heard so many great things about the burger at this place. It's just a burger chain, but I decided to give it a try."
"I was considering the 3-star option, but I heard great things about the burgers at this restaurant. It turned out to be just another burger chain that didn't meet my expectations."
"to be missed. I can see why people love it so much - the patty is perfectly juicy and cooked to perfection. The toppings are fresh and the bun is soft and toasted just right. It's definitely worth trying out if you're a fan of burgers."

"Came into Burger king today for some dinner whilst having a break from my shopping. I was greeted by a lovely looking chap named jack, who was smiling and seemed happy to help with anything i needed. I felt so welcomed and greeted by him, and the service was amazing, he really made my day, cracking jokes, and getting on with me well, all whilst staying professional. I think all staff who work there should aspire to be as cheerful and delightful to interact with. The food came and was absolutely lovely, and when i requested some sauce, once again jack was ready to serve me, still just as welcoming. i have never experienced such amazing customer service at a fast food place before, and Jack, has made my week! :"

"visit brighton from the northwest due to the visit family. this restaurant online booked what was easy. decidedly we wanted to try something else and this has caught our eye online than we were going through. 5 star reviews also helped in this decision. was not disappointed. we loved it. we were greeted with a warm welcome from kelly our host. She was so nice. she also helped us with the order and it was perfect. we ordered 3 starters between 2 and 2 curries we shared. 1 rice and 1 chapati. everything was so fresh and hot. it was an infusion of wonderful aromas. the atmosphere calmed down with beautiful background music. reading the little story at the top of the menu as the restaurant came was interesting, but also fascinating, as we wanted to know more. fantastic evening. many thanks. will definitely be back."

"Good sized pub. Roast dinner was very nice, and plenty of it. Real ale served and appears to be well kept. Timothy Taylor Landlord was a good pint. Greene King ales also served, of which the London Glory was good. Pub does get busy depending on time of day, and what events are on. Very short walk away from Paddington Station."

"I have eaten here on two previous occasions where it was very busy but the food was worth it. On this occasion I pre-booked a table for 4pm on a Sunday to ensure we had a table for my husband's birthday as we'd travelled from the East Midlands. On arrival there was a table reserved for us clearly stating 4pm and as we were early we ordered a drink. After deciding what to eat we were advised that the kitchen was not open until 5pm! As we had a 2 hour journey home we could not wait until then and had to leave extremely disappointed. At no point was it highlighted either on the OpenTable or FFC website that food would not be served until after 5pm. We had travelled specifically for a birthday treat which ended up ruining what was a great day. Please ensure if a restaurant is not open at the requested booking time slot it is clearly indicated that food will not be served."

"Honestly the best food I’ve ever had! We booked here based on the positive reviews we read and managed to get a last minute booking on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is greatly, lovely atmosphere inside. Staff were all great and attended to us throughout to make sure we had everything needed. We were advanced on 6/7 dishes between 2 people which worked out to be plenty. We ordered 7 in total and didn’t leave much (could of happily had 6). Then we had a dessert each because it’d be rude not to! It’s tapas style, so you are served your dishes as and when they are ready. This means a couple may come out at once and then you get a break before the next. I really liked this as you could take your time when eating. Would highly recommend and I’ll definitely be heading back on my next visit to Glasgow "

"Last stop before you go to America. Gluten Free buns for my celiac and knew their things to keep him away from the pommes, and kept everything apart. For me, best onion rings ever! Friendly service, delicious hamburgers. Ask this as a place for the next visit to England!"
