"I have been here and ordered for pick-up/delivery so many times (I've actually lost count) that I feel it is my moral duty to tell everyone about how incredible this restaurant is. First things first, the food: The sushi/sashimi is delicious and it's clear the...fish is carefully sourced. The sushi chefs themselves are greatly skilled. They're quick but the preparation isn't rushed at all. They have a high attention to detail (and the size of the individual pieces you get are very generous). The presentation is also very nice. The same applies for the hot food that I have tried. Their teriyaki, ramen and yaki soba/udon dishes are fantastic (their portion sizes are also very generous). In regards to their dessert, I have only tried their custard dorayaki but it was a lovely dish. The pancakes themselves are soft but with a perfect firmness, with lovely thick custard inside. They provide this dessert with strawberries too. A great mix. The service: all the staff there are absolutely lovely. They are so friendly, attentive and very professional. You get a very warm reception and it feels like a very positive environment. The decor: I'm a big fan of the interior styling, it gives the restaurant a very elegant character. It feels like all the different elements complement each other. It's nicely balanced. Value for money: the prices are extremely reasonable, especially when you take into account the quality of the food and the amount you're given. Delivery: I typically pick the food up myself as I live so close to the restaurant. I typically wait 15 minutes for my food to be ready. To me, that is very quick. Location: it's a very short walk to Archway station and various bus routes. Very good location. Rooms for improvement: this is extremely picky but the one thing I'd improve is the hand dryer in the toilets."

"Fun experience! As a non Korean this was a great experience! We fancied something completely different, so why not cook your own food at a Korean BBQ joint! The menu had a wide range of choices, whether that be meat or vegetarian Plenty of side disses to accompany your choice of main (tteokbokki being my favourite! We had beef rib eye and chicken thighs for our meat which were both delicious. The steak was sliced ~1cm thick so cooked very quickly on the hot coals, it was so juicy. Accompanying dishes were the squid (very different texture to what I’m used too, it was ‘snappy’ in texture not soft . Tteokbokki was deliciousssss, chewy rice cakes covered in a hot spicy gochujang sauce, so so good. Garlic covered chips, the best chips ever. If you love garlic. Get these. The waiter didn’t speak great English, but that’s not a problem to me. We worked out what we wanted by pointing to the menu! Very good evening out! Would definitely come again, especially with a group of friends so we can order a couple of beer towers!"

"Best locally but.... I love Oisi and we regularly get take away from here for lunch at the weekend. I've been to lunch and dinner a few times and the food on the most part has been delicious, but we have found the service and food sometimes doesn't come out to order e.g. I had a hot beef dish that came out cold and when I asked they said it can be either and that it is served cold unless you ask for it hot BS as far as I was concerned, they were just covering their tracks. It is hands down the best Japanese restaurant in the Guildford/woking/byfleet area but I hope they read this and spend a little bit more time on their food service.Beyond that the restaurant is family owned I think and they do make a real effort to be nice but could do with being a bit more upbeat the location is a bit weird a stairwell between a printers and some other shop that goes down into a basement once you get down there it doesn't matter though.Overall I'd say if you live in the area you HAVE to go and try it out as it's great japanese food without the london prices (will still cost you a fair bit mind), BUT you might find that perfect japanese meal out might have a few little frustrations along the way but not enough to spoil the fantastic food in my opinion.Get the:black codtempura king prawnschicken gyozawagu beef (but ask for it hot"

"I love Korean food and this place was average to good. Service was fast and friendly and the food was well cooked and presented. However, the restaurant is a little dated and getting a bit grubby, there was limited choice of drinks and virtually no wine. They have limited fish/ seafood on the menu and no sashimi etc. Overall it was average for the area, certainly not the best, but far from the worst. There are many Korean restaurants in the area, so one is spoilt for choice. You Me restaurant is certainly worth a visit, but others are certainly more deserving!"

"Food was a 10/10 and awesome portion sizes for the price. I was ordering online with my friend who really doesn't like spicy food, the restaurant called me several times to try and get me and explain (in the end they left a voicemail and left a little handwritten note inside the bag) explaining that the tofu is made in an already spicy mix but they had done their best to combat, and if it was too much then we should remove the tofu. Just great thought put into it and we had a fantastic experience. Will definitely eat here again and was left with a really great feeling about the place. Places like this deserve your business, really nice people and nice service. We had Vegetable-only bibimbap and a spicy chicken bulgogi with glass noodles. Both were fantastic."

"I liked the warm welcome. helpful staff. first the second time I tried the famous Bibimbab court, which is still best (I know from two so far). delicious rice, seasonal veg, it's summer so I liked that it's spinat used. fried egg is a...must be a very nutritious meal with raw veg mixed with hot rice and ice. the personal told me that they hand make their chillie sauce, that is not too hot and a great accompaniment. I ate on her tables outside, as they can only take with you at the moment. very good prices, considering that this is next to the museum and all the loaded tourist."

"Myself and husband were in Cheltenham for a short break and on our first night we decided to go for Korean food. After a short but very wet and cold walk from the parking we were really ready to have some decent hot food. We arrived around 6.30pm on a Monday evening without booking and the restaurant was already at least half full which must mean something. The menu was fairly extensive so we certainly had a lot to chose from including Korean BBQ. In the end we decided upon 3 starters and 2 mains. The service was very friendly and reasonably fast. We did ask for everything to come at the same time as I like to have a variety all at once, however, the starters came plate by plate quite soon whereas the mains took a bit more time. Instead of waiting for the mains we started on the starters so they wouldn't go cold. The food was pretty good, in particular the stir fried pak choi was amazing, cook perfectly with lot of garlic. The sweet Korean chicken wings were also pretty decent, we both enjoyed them. The Tteokbokki with cheese was for me a bit underwhelming (I thought they were gonna be covered in cheese) but husband loved them. Then I had the Kimchi Jjigae which was fabulous, I loved the deep flavours with extra chilis and lots of vegetables. I think that pork belly bits were not needed. All in all we enjoyed a lovely meal and have no regrets. It was a wonderful little restaurant with good service and even a little treat at the end which I really appreciated. If we lived closer we certainly would be visiting again as a treat to try other dishes. Prices were also reasonable and we left EXTREMELY full. Maybe less is more. Thank you to the restaurant staff."

"I was disappointed by the treatment and felt as though the staff, although not blatantly rude, singled us out by giving us wooden utensils although everyone else in the restaurant had metal as well as other small things like not explaining how we order food and placing us right in the back by the toilet although other seating was available. The food is overpriced, the treatment we received was almost certainly racially motivated and I will not actively warning my friends and family that this restaurant or and others make a habit to treat paying customers like less than because we look different. I would have hoped to have experienced a welcoming demeanour as we clearly wanted to experience something different but it just goes to show that these chain restaurants only care about their own and make no effort in welcoming individuals who are new to the cuisine experience. So disappointed, worst customer service and treatment I’ve experienced in years. Absolutely shameful."
