"We had friends and family visiting today and required a table 16 for dinner and were considering where to eat. Lots of choices in New Malden for Korean food but because we have so many kids with us, I suggested a more relaxed atmosphere and choose Haru. We were able to book the back room (the one with all the signatures all over the wall and you get to sit on the floor with low down tables). They re arranged all the furniture for our group and made it that much special. Food is always great, flavoursome and authentic. We ordered a number of dishes so our friends could taste a number of flavours and everyone enjoyed the experience very much. They also accommodated for some dishes to be altered for those kids who have allergies. Only point was my taller friends found sitting on the floor a bit sore on the knees... albeit they maybe just getting older! Will always come back and recommend to our friends keep up the great food/service!"

"After a very rude and cold reception,I was ordered where to look at the menu stuck to the front of a display fridge I ordered Japchae. Only two Asian students eating on a Friday night at 8pm. Cash only! The back of my neck was freezing with a draught. This place has been here a while and could be a goldmine if only they upgraded. A very small dish of glass noodles came with carrot ,onion and mushroom so thinly sliced I had bother telling what they were and nut sized pieces of chicken. At nearly 8 quid it was expensive. I could have rustled it up at home for a quid. It was a very poor chow mein really. The place has 5 hygiene stars. I do nut know how? It is dark dingy,unloved and undecorated for years. Food was greasy. Been a while since I was here and will be a while before I am back."

"I was so excited to try this place as it had great reviews. I really wanted to give it 5/5 (because the food is out of this world and was absolutely amazing the best takeaway we’ve had) however my decision was sadly based on the customer service I received as soon as I walked through the door. The lady was very unwelcoming and looked at me as tho why she coming in this late (20:15) and food preparation finishes at 20:30 which is fine. She never gave me a warm welcome. I have never been here before and asked for recommendations which I got a blank look at and one word answer. Sharp, unhappy and abrupt which I found disheartening. Such lovely food tho and throughly enjoyed it. Just first impressions were sadly disappointing."

"Found Kimchee when looking for a place to have dinner. Had to wait for a table, while waiting had a gin, very tasty. Just missing some seats while we wait for table. Foodwise me and my boyfriend shared vegetable dumplings (very good! , a avocado salad (just ok and the main dish made of rice and beef which was good but could be improved with more flavour (we used the sauce from the dumplings . For dessert we had panacotta which was very enjoyable. Would go back for another meal!"

"Went here last night at the tail end of an office Christmas party and we stumbled (quite literally inside having been turned away at a restaurant next door. It was past closing though their OPEN sign was still on. Anyway! Although Oppa was just about to close, they took us in, a group of 6, and stayed open until we finished. When I realized we were in a Korean restaurant, I was so excited; I've been searching for a good Korean restaurant in the midlands. My colleagues were much less so as they had never had Korean food and were unfamiliar with everything on the menu. I ordered for everyone and despite some of them being difficult one colleague kept asking for samosas, aah! the service was faultless. Staff were super attentive and helpful, patient, friendly, good fun, and extremely accommodating. Just perfect! And they stayed open for us quite late without rushing us out, what more can you ask for? Ok, so the food. It was SO so good and I'm already planning to go back. The kimchi was bang on how I like (a big deciding factor for me strongly fermented/pickled and spicy, and fresh. All the bulgogi (marinated meat , dolsot bibimbap (sizzling rice bowl , jjigae (stew/ramen style soups , seafood and extras that were served tasted just like I had hoped they would. Presentation was great everything looked properly appetizing and vegetables and seafood, etc were all clean and fresh. I was too busy stuffing my face and enjoying the moment and company to take photos, but the few photos I've seen on here are true to life. Other things people might be interested in: This restaurant is kitted out to cook Korean BBQ at/in/on your table. It is spacious, with lots of tables and room to move around. Decor is tasteful and minimal. It is clean and indeed I was warned by staff when going upstairs to the ladies' to be careful as the stairs and the toilets had all just been cleaned (and clean they were! . If you're looking for good Korean food, look no further. If you're looking to try Korean food for the first time, this is a great place to start. Go for it! "We indulged in a delightful array of dishes at Kimchi, including the Grilled Tofu Dol Sot, Two Spicy Pork Dol-Sot, Jinju, and a generously shared portion of Chilli Korean Fried Chicken with Pineapple Mayonnaise. The experience was splendid, and our friends from London deemed it the best Dol-Sot they've had in years. The quick and fresh service added to the enjoyment, and despite being full, the restaurant maintained its lively atmosphere. It's no surprise that securing a table at this establishment is a challenge, given its status as, in my opinion, the best Asian food spot in Norwich."

"Well, this is no pie and mash place, as I have eaten at in London; and in Oldham when we had pie and mash as supper playing darts, provided by the landlady of the Shepherd 's Boy in Oldham [Lancashire] in 1969. So, we were in at lunchtime, and the offer was £9.95 for a pie and a pint. The beer was great but we did not eat, my Down son and I. It is a cold warehouse, in sense that the ceilings are very high and being down a side alley is not sunlit! Same in the Summer? In the evening I had the three cheese and potato pie; well I presume there were three cheeses, but goat 's cheese seemed to dominate. The few pieces of potato were undercooked, that id HARD! Response from unsmiling waitress when I told her: I 'll tell 'em. No offer of refund. My son who had pie and mash, though we had not ordered mash, but roast spuds, as chip are verboten! He enjoyed his bacon and chicken etc pie. The roast spuds were cold. Only one member of staff that we actually interlocuted with, was friendly. The others did not speak or were reticent, If you go wear plenty of insulating garments!!!!!"

"This has ben one of my long-standing places to eat in Finnieston but have been massively let down tonight. Ordered drinks for us both. My partner ordered the Hoe deop bap (raw salmon) and I ordered the chef’s special Korean chicken. Our drinks and appetisers arrive with no issues Her dish arrived and I know it’s quite normal for dishes to arrive at different time. So, we waited maybe 15 minutes or so before she started while mine had still not arrived. Its now 30 minutes later. My meal has not arrived and she has finished hers. Finally managed to get a hold of the waitress who then tells me that the dish I ordered was no longer available. Paid for what did arrive and left. So, thanks for letting me sit hungry while my partner ate. I was offered the choice of something else but at this point I really didn’t want to sit around for another 30 minutes. Perhaps an apology would have been nice but that didn’t happen and I really didn’t want to wait 30 minutes for that in the hope it would arrive."

Called ahead 4 days before as was travelling down from Glasgow to say in Nottingham we understood that the English Cup Final was on but arrived at pub only to be told by bar staff member NO to Celtic Rangers game and looked like manager NO we are very busy. We understood would be able to see with no sound. Don't advertise the website and also after a phone call in advance to say YES showing no sound. So never seen game. Will remember next time not to go to your pub. Change your website if not going to show games."

"that was my first Korean restaurant, I had tried to tear out from other places before. the host and owner is very attentive to the needs of the customers and always make sure they are satisfied! So we had a set menu for 2 for £32 and a part (which according to my standard was the right size for 4 people) korean fried chicken with sweeter and cooler sauce. what you see on the table was a lot, for 2 people, and we had to take half this food home with us when we couldn't finish it! fantastic! the food was freshly made, very tasty, I had enjoyed the kimchi mixture of vegetables and the stir roasted bark meat. her traditional Makkoli potion was served in metallic sauces, which we enjoyed very much, as we got the whole bottle! I will go back to try their grilled meats xx thanks for giving me my first great experience with Korean dips so that I can now understand the aromas of dips and drinks when I have eaten on k-dramas I can observe regularly!"

"Plan Burrito is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the UK. I have lived in southern California and visited Mexico many times, and these burritos are the most authentic I have found on this side of the Atlantic. The meat is exceptional and the burritos are fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food. The smoked pork and chicken burritos are particularly amazing. The southwest sauce adds a nice twist to the traditional flavors, but you can never go wrong with the classic sour cream and guacamole."

"I dived here with a couple of colleagues for lunch. I visited this Korean restaurant a few times before, but never for lunch. the restaurant is small and full of quirky, domestic objects. it almost feels like they're in someone's room. we received a short menu, but also a booklet that showed the meal in detail, with photos of the ingredients that go to the court and a finished article shot. this is very useful if they were not yet in the restaurant and do not know where to start. it beaten that all three of us were going to order bulgogi, I was going to squash and the other two with huh. every head comes with a suppe and a series of appetizers. the suppe was green bean and was a perfect size to let her go while on her pornstar without being overcrowded. the appetiser consisted of mushrooms, kimchi, broccoli and a little sausage that was delicious. the parts of each are only a mouthful per person. when the main thing arrived, we were offered the right way to eat the dish. this is very useful, especially for a nervous first timer and a very nice note. all seemed to enjoy their boggi. the meat was well cooked and the sauce had a nice deep. the vegetables were also well cooked and gave crispy and soft, where necessary. the salat part of the bogogi gave the meal a fresh and was simply in its delivery. each court came with a small bowl of rice, which was a nice size, but we were offered more if we wanted it. this restaurant makes fun, with knowledgeable employees. eating is tasty and is worth a visit for some great Korean foods."

"Visited with some friends for a fairly early dinner. The menu concept is built around sharing small plates. The things I tried were the Korean Fried Chicken, Pork Belly slices, and the Chicken Dumplings. All of them were lovely, but the fried chicken has to be the favourite for me. Some of the group were vegan but their food looked equally appealing. There wasn't too much of an atmosphere, but as a first time visitor here during a quieter time of the day, maybe that isn't representative so I'll give that the benefit of the doubt."
