very delicious food and efficient service. beautiful place-we will definitely come back as this is our popular Japanese place in brighton

We had a lovely mother's day lunch, fabulous food and service. The restaurant was full, service quick and the staff really friendly. The food was the star, absolutely delicious and very very reasonable.

the best I had in brighton. hot dishes were just as good. it's not really cheap for brighton, but it's worth it for the quality. they could do with better ventilation than our clothes a little pong! the personal is really nice and the sushi master knows what he does!

Just amazing food, we were deciding where to eat in brighton and we went back oshai because our first visit was so good! Tried some different dishes, amazing tastes, we even decided what we will have next time we go!! Really friendly service, good size portions. You can't go wrong ! Well done Oshio

We were visiting the hat shop next door and the smells tempted us in. Amazing tofu agadashi and excellent bibimbap with sweet seared beef. Beware the hot stone bowl it is so hot it comes on a slab of wood and the table still wasn't safe! All fresh all flavourful and cooked to order. It was great. Cant wait till im back in town to visit again.

Delicious food. The soft shell crab tempura is quite pricey for the small size but very tasty and great texture! The seafood pancake was yummy. The kimchee and tofu jigae were also very yummy as was the classic bibimbap! Waitress who served us was a bit moody and rude but the other waitresses were really nice. Overall, enjoyable experience and would come again.

they know that a place is special when they plan their return when they are still there! all the dishes we tried tonight were wonderful, and the tteokbokki and spicy, crispy fried chicken were better than some I had in seoul. I can't wait to return and try some of the spectacular looking sashimi that is presented with real flair. the chef chef and all staff are absolutely charming and earn great success. Thank you!

It was Saturday night, my wife and me had a booking for 8pm and were looking forwards to this meal had a babybsitter organised and had a drink in another place. Walked in to this restaurant at 6 minutes past 8 and waiter looked at me, laughed and said he gave our table away! I've never experienced this before anywhere. We were shocked and confused. Don't even know what to say! Would never go back there as it was extremely rude! I don't think it's ok to give table away because someone is 6 min late and laugh at their face!

We arrived from London a bit late and without a booking normally I will recommend for you to make a booking at the restaurant is very busy, the staff are very good she find a table for us we set by the sushi bar! Which is the good spot to sit at you can see the chef's working perpear the dishes service was good but I have to wait for my drink and chicken wing for a bit longer The waitress that served us was very nice so come to check on us and let's us know its won't be long as theyre very busy. Food was so delicious and noodle soup was yummy. Price is a bit high but food is great quality. My favourite dishes is toboki octopus spicy chicken wings
