"we visited the krone in egham, but do not have the opportunity to visit them. we discovered this pub that is in the same chain and served the same menu (almost). it is fast to our local pub. look at the brot and the butter pudding, this is the best of all time! the duck seems to never be available, however, and Sunday triple roast does not live entirely up to expectations, but overall we have visited several, only for the other excellent dishes and the service. dogs are also welcome."

"Me and my group of bingo gals were here for Boxing Day and Hogmanay. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and even though it was busy they helped us as much as they could to give us a memorable experience. For food we all had items from the Christmas menu. The crispy prawns were definitely a hit. Great atmosphere and the gals were very pleased with everything. Definitely will be back. Thanks guys!"

"at the time in the pub sitting after the most delicious meal (lasagne followed by chocolate fudge cake compliments at the chef! also very cheap prices and generous portions. I have severe mental health and physical diseases and the personal was very nice and very accommodating. even me on the table near the disabled toilet. can't blame them, they should be proud of their excellent service and care. also the love that it is dog friendly, as I love dogs, to see all the different come, has made my day. will definitely be visited again and also bring my friends! next to the pub here. "Great place to pop into and get a great atmosphere. I went in around 5pm today, Sat 5th Aug. I was greeted by what i perceived to be the manager, a woman who's name i can't remember. I was then served by a tall, stout man, he was young. Dark hair and facial hair. His manner seemed a bit brusque and bordering on rude. He gave me my drink and i paid. 10 mins later i went back to the bar and asked to order food, i was served by the woman i mentioned earlier. I had some very specific requests with regard to my food order, so i discussed them and was helped very well. My food came out quickly and was very tasty. Overall a very positive experience, i will be back"

"Nice and cozy place to take a sip and get some side dishes, watching football match with friends. Large parking area behind the shop for customers. The outdoor beer garden is lovely for the sunshine day if you can find. My favourite menu are the 30 pcs BBQ chicken wings, narchos and tower of onion rings. "My daughter and I ate from the Christmas menu here on Monday. We both had chicken tempura for our starter which was so delicious. I had the turkey for my main. The turkey was extremely tender and the overall presentation of the meal was first class. My daughter had the burger which she thoroughly enjoyed as well. We both then had the chocolate fudge cake for dessert. This again was absolutely beautifully presented and tasted amazing. First class service from the hard working staff and just simply a special Christmas experience. The restaurant was also beautifully decorated and just added to the charm of the occasion. I honestly would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. I’ve ate here a good few times in the past and have never been disappointed. Well done to all the staff and compliments to the chef for their superb food. Merry Christmas to them all."

"I had a fabulous lunch at Murdos with the girls! The food was amazing—delicious mac and cheese, tasty waffle fries, and the Katsu chicken was fantastic. The fish and chips were good too. "the first time in england and wanted real English fish and chips. the pub was clean and tidy. pool table and various edges to entertain everyone. the young tattooed dame behind the bar was friendly and helpful with my asking to the menu. the chips. were in order, but needed salt and ketchup to add taste. I appreciate the fact that the fish were not made over the diligent, but not a real taste again. had to add lemon and other spicy to make it better. the Burger options looked interesting and may require a second visit."
