"Tried out this place on a visit to Glasgow with my daughter. It has amazingly friendly staff and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We both ordered pizza and sadly my daughter's margarita was over cooked as the cheese had started turning brown. My ham pizza was incredibly dry, there was very little cheese and even less tomato sauce. We ate what we could, paid and left. They seem to offer a real variety of Italian dishes and many of the other diners seemed very happy, but our pizza experience was a miss. Would maybe try again but order one of the delicious looking pasta dishes."

"Hungover and wanted a carvery delivered. The meat was the texture of what could only be described as, cabbage? almost as if it was boiled and watered down, tasteless to say the least. The promise of home made stuffing came to a burning halt when...i opened the box only to find out that I was sold a dream so be faced with a grey ball that was the texture of sand?? the roast potatoes were raw yet soggy? Don’t even get me started on the ‘cauliflower cheese’, nothing like dry cauliflower with no cheese. the array of 2 different vegetables was honestly what’s not to love about raw hard veg. Oh and not to mention it was stone cold upon arrival. Delivery time took 2 hours. Needless to say this is nothing short of an abysmal meal. but a let down with no other than smash and aunt betsy’s yorkshire puddings. wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy."

"I have been a longtime patron of Maggie May's. While it may not be a fancy restaurant, they serve delicious home-cooked meals. The restaurant used to be known for having one of the best and largest breakfasts in Belfast. However, recently I have noticed a decline in the quality and portion size of the food. I have had a few disappointing deliveries, so I now prefer to dine in. During my recent visit, I was disappointed to see that the veggie fry was nearly half the size it used to be and now costs £9.50. The quality of the ingredients also seems to have decreased. Despite this, Maggie May's still offers a good variety of dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options. While I recommend sticking to more traditional menu items, such as breakfasts, chips, and milkshakes, overall the food is still decent. It is important to note that the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible and has only one small toilet at the back without changing facilities."

"After seeing on the vegetarian page on FB people ranting about their vegan kebabs, we thought we would give it a go. Ordered food on app and it said it would be ready in 45minutes. We arrived on time. Food had been sitting; opened our kebabs and chips and they were cold. Chips were dry. I had the vegan steak kebab, the soya pieces were horrible. Chewy and greasy, was like eating gristle. My husband's chicken/doner kebab was tough. Within 30 minutes of eating mine, I felt unwell and had diarrhea. Have felt sick and had a horrible tummy since eating it last night. I've hardly eaten a thing. Also, the house sauce was very sickening and more like a sweet mayonnaise. NEVER going back!"

"Overall, it was a pleasant evening at the restaurant. It took a while for someone to come and take our drink order. My husband, who doesn't drink, ordered a non-alcoholic beer but was told there were no options available. Instead, he was offered a cider, which also contained alcohol. It was disappointing to see no non-alcoholic options other than soft drinks in this day and age, especially during January when many people are participating in Dry January. Despite this, the food was excellent. The salt and pepper chicken starter had a different flavor than expected but was still enjoyable."

"We had friends over and wanted them to experience a traditional British Afternoon Tea. We found the offer for Hilton's Afternoon Tea, while we past the hotel the day before. The booking of the table was simple. We arrived 15 minutes prior our scheduled time but we were seated immediately. Our friends eat Halal which we forgot to book, in advance. However, the chef came to our table, introduced himself and asked for their wishes as an alternative. The extraordinarily friendly waitress brought our teas straight away; the Afternoon Tea snacks came a couple of minutes afterwards. The food was amazing!!! Especially tasty were the scones. They were served warm with the clotted cream and jam (just like in the traditional Afternoon Tea). The price, which is already quite cheap, included the traditional Afternoon Tea and two servings of tea per person. Overall, we were very pleased and totally recommend going to the Hilton Hotel in Cambridge for a traditional, affordable Afternoon Tea with Halal alternatives and a great service!!"

"Our experience from start to finish was outstanding. We were warmly welcomed by the staff upon arrival, and it only got better from there. "we went to lunch. I'm a few times in the years both as a carnivore and vegan. I had the VG chicken in a basket for the first time as vegan, but they get three strips from since then for £14. that's not worth it at all. this time I went with the VG-Tacos, roasted sweet potato. the tacos came out and were served cold. I have read a few reviews and all the others have them cold, so I assume they are served like that, but they should be warm after my thought. I mean my roasted sweet potato means that it will be warm! the sauce on the tacos was not too big, it was like a version of the vegan nando perinaise, but not so good. the other half had garlauchbrot and liked it! next the burgers, I had the generic wg fleshy that I admit, I can do much better at home! I couldn't even taste the relish, or mayo said it was up to me to check even the bungalow. the other half said his side burger was nice. Unfortunately, the chips are not homemade cloby chips as they were earlier. they taste more like frozen, sucking because they have been my favorite thing to dylans! the two tacos cost me £7.95, which was small. I thought they would make a good starter, but I felt they were expensive for what they were. the burgers cost £13/£14, which I thought was what they are, as expensive. the personal must learn to bring salt and vinegar out as standard when there are chips. they ask if they like any sauces, but the fact that the salt and vinegar is not on the table is silly to me? our meal with two appetizers and two burgers, a koss and an apfelsist came to £45. on what it is. people say it's where it is. but I live in the red wharf bay and the restaurants right at the sea here are not so crazy price and if they are to get their money. will not hurry back soon! as someone who lives here permanently, would it be nice to have a few more decisions, a pasta court for example (vegan mac or carbonara) and a tomato base?"

"I'm afraid to say I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone , was left completely fuming with the service , the food and the overall approach by the staff at cafe football!! The so called manager Gabrielle or whatever her name is was rude from start to finish we booked our table for the Fa cup final but was told he had under two hours to eat and leave and couldn't extend our stay , the waiters were clueless and didn't understand why we wanted drinks after being seated for half hour im pretty sure it's human rights to be able to order a drink in a so called restaurant , the starters were below par and questionable , the Mains we ordered weren't what we asked for and when asking the so called manager why she couldn't be bothered to answer our questions , so I'm afraid to say after visiting cafe football before I wouldn't come back even if you paid me disgusting and I will be getting in touch with trading standards as we found dirty cuttery and glasses on our table and not even a sorry from staff very little care from all at cafe football!!! "I was disappointed with my experience. The food was much better during our last visit. My poached egg was almost cold, and the mushrooms and poached egg were served on some heavy, soggy bread that was meant to be toast. It’s a pity because everything was delicious before. For dessert, there was no rice pudding, which was one of the main reasons we chose to come here. However, the chocolate fondant was delightful. On the positive side, the service was excellent."

"This is not the first time I have been to this restaurant and it certainly will not be the last. Amazing food, fantastic staff and a great atmosphere. "Firstly the positives, excellent food, and the staff look after you very well. Did see one review that said the service needs some significant improvement but that was NOT my experience quite the opposite; they look after you very well, not only in terms of being attentive but also in the style of presentation. This was my second time eating there and I had booked a lunchtime seating for a later time, meaning there were more diners, which created a better atmosphere. Wasn 't full even so, and therefore the ambience was still a bit lacking the only negative I would say. Nevertheless will still be happy to go back there due to the efforts of the staff and excellent food."
