Menu not that extensive but what we had was great. Competitive prices and excellent service from Kyle and then Sorina thank you!

Lovely meal once again.Such natural attentive service from Sophie our waitress and very attentive. Dealt with some problems so well in surrounding tables with a matter of ease a credit to the hotel!

Managed to pick up a last minute offer on 5pm for 2 courses with a glass of wine for £14.50. Bargain. Had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. This is not the 1st time I've eaten here and it won't be the last. Lovely restaurant with a nice ambiance to it. Well worth a visit. View menu

Amazing meal and fantastic service, I hadn't dined at Chez Mal for a couple of years due to living overseas but managed to stay a few nights at the Malmaisson and took advantage of this opportunity to enjoy a couple of visits to the restaurant and happy to say it was excellent as usual.

Lovely hotel. We were warmly welcomed by Haydn and given a room upgrade as it was my birthday. Room was lovely and bathroom was very nice with plenty of hot water forthe showers Breakfast was delicious with buffet options, fresh fruit and yoghurt along with cooked options. Can strongly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here in the future.

Great staff. Very attentive. Lovely relaxed Christmas dinner. Food was excellent too. Even let my OH go off menu for dessert. I'm not a fan of going out for Christmas preferring to do it myself at home, but illness precluded me doing that this year. And this was a very worthy 2nd best. We stayed at the Malmaison from Christmas Eve until Boxing Day during which time a festive dinner was offered on Christmas Eve; a full breakfast on Christmas Day; Christmas lunch and a full breakfast on Boxing Day. We were delighted with the menu options and the quality of food served. The service, too, was second to none and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. They wore face masks at all times while in proximity to the guests.

Gifted a voucher for a meal for two but not sure if I would go back. Waited ages to be shown to a table and even though at this point it was quiet we were put beside a door to the toilet/ hotel which was frequently opened and causing a draft. I requested a different table but it never happened. Had to ask the waiter if we could order our drinks as no one asked. We were waiting 45 minutes for our food and noticed other diners who had arrived after us being served before us. We asked a waiter about it and then our food arrived issues with the printer in the kitchen Another lengthy wait for the plates to be taken away I had to ask! and again a long wait before we realised that no one was offeri...

I went here with my husband for a Saturday lunch on a 5pm big deal. I can't fault the place, it was delicious and I was a bit greedy and went for a third course. I had a prawn starter still in the shells), sea bass for main and a lovely apple and blackberry crumble with custard for dessert. Sometimes I think when you are on a deal you don't get the same service as other customers but this was definitely not the case here. The service was great as was the standard and choice of food.
