"Make sure to make a reservation, or you'll regret it later! I frequently bring clients and friends to this restaurant when I'm in the area. I discovered it a couple of years ago during a quick search for an Italian restaurant in Southend. It's hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I've visited, either in the UK or Italy. I've been fortunate to dine at some amazing restaurants around the world, and the menu here is thoughtfully curated, authentic, and most importantly, delicious. The service is friendly and welcoming, with a family-oriented atmosphere. The restaurant itself is cozy and inviting, yet still elegant enough to impress your companions. Don't always trust online reviews, but if you give it a try, you'll be glad you did. I will keep returning to Monti, even though I have tried other restaurants in the area! As for parking, I've never had trouble finding a spot within a two-minute walk."

"We had a lovely meal and the staff were fantastic. Our little one loved the fish tank and we all felt very looked after. The food was all very delicious too. We walked in at opening time but it did get busy around 6pm. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, all the staff and chefs made our toddler feel very welcome and she enjoyed the food. Meal type: Dinner"

"Wow, what a place. I've been in a hell of a lot of coffee/cafes in my time but this place to me takes top of the league. The staff are absolutely fantastic always taking your orders with a happy smile and a welcome greeting. The food and drinks we had were fantastic, good homely cooking. The toilet was well cared for very clean. We have used this place a few times now as we stopped off in our boat in the marina opposite the Deli. The Deli has wonderful views across Poole harbour to Brownsea island. Would we come back to the Deli? Most definitely looking forward to our next visit next year."

"Booked lunch for 4 on a Friday at 1:30pm, needed to finish by 3pm, actually the right amount of time. It was a lovely sunny day and originally sat by the front window, waiter quickly took our order for drinks while we decided what to order. After 10 minutes I was baking and asked if we could move, on a normal dull day it would be a good place to sit but not on a bright sunny day. Waitress was very accommodating and we moved to the rear and it was such a relief. Three of us ordered pizza and we were not disappointed, the base was thin and the toppings tasty cooked to perfection. The vegetarian pasta dish was equally delicious according to friend. We all had the Italian desert, biscuit and ricotta cream filling which was good. My elderflower and Prosecco cocktail was refreshing and tasty. All in all an excellent experience, was my first visit and will not hesitate to return."

"We’re currently working in Alnwick, spending a week there and a week back home in Manchester. After our second visit, we grew tired of grabbing Burger Kings from service stations on our way back. That’s when one of my colleagues searched for good Italian food along the A1 and discovered Giuseppe’s. What a fantastic find! My wife is Italian, while I’m not, but I’ve developed an appreciation for excellent Italian cuisine through many trips to Italy. Giuseppe’s truly delivers! We now make it a point to stop by every other week on our way home, and we eagerly look forward to it. Life is about the journey, after all! It’s conveniently located just off the A1 in Gateshead, and by opting out of fast food convenience, you can uncover the real hidden gems in life. This place is definitely one of them: great people, delicious food, and a positive vibe!"

"Honestly, I went here ready to love the restaurant, but feel maybe it's taking things a little bit for granted. Had multiple dishes. Fussiloni. Wow well I am guessing boiled mince, but not an expert about why meat tasted the way it did, but I associated meat with mass produced methods of canteen food. Specials pasta was alright, think if not pasta itself being Al dente would definitely say most of people can prepare the dish at home without much effort. Wagyu whilst granted I never ate wagyu before was rubbery. Maybe that's how it suppose to be but I really had a bite and didn't want more. Tiramisu was Limoncello based , soft. Personally didn't like it, but I can see other people enjoying it. Overall during meal I was questioning my meat eating morals :D. Service was lovely. Decor was nice. Prices were high"

"Visited during a work event day out and was unaware there was a restaurant in this location. Crolla's is off the beaten track of Musselburgh town centre and I wouldn't be aware of a restaurant where it's situated. It was booked for our work day out hence the visit. It's a nice place, food and service good and didn't disappoint. I had pepperoni and mushroom pizza, I'm not keen on Italian style pizza with the larger crust, however this is personal preference and nothing wrong with it. The topping was tasty but I do wish I had chosen the pasta as others looked nice. Dessert was pistachio cheesecake as pictured and very tasty. Our waitress was great and joined in with the fun of one of our crowd also making sure we were fine for anything required. I'm not from the area or I'd visit again, however now I know it's here would book if in the area again."

"Used to love the place, now I don't want to come back. The Italian girl at the bar, don't know her name looking very friendly initially, shamed her colleague in front of all customers after a mistake made with the display prices , then proceded to treat us with an attitude because we had enquired the difference in price in our receipt, took the cash to refund it from the staff's tips jar and slammed it on the counter. Had it been handled with a bit of empathy for the employee, and an apology, it would have made such a difference, also didn't like that these mistakes are paid from the staffs tips, and made us feel guilty for asking"

"We have been passed this establishment a few times but there always seemed to be a queue. This time, while looking at the menu a lady came out and asked if we wanted a table. My wife can hardly walk and we were given a...table just inside the door and waiting for her to settle was no problem. Menu time, wide choice of items to choose from, I went for something called This and That. My wife, who is a fussy eater, selected a pasta dish with chicken and egg. Can't remember the name of it. The meals came and mine had a selection of salads, grated carrot, coleslaw, sliced red onion, black olives, shrimps, slices of orange, pineapple and pear, chicken, tuna, salmon and more. The plate was full of choice. My wifes dinner also looked good and plentiful. As she was eating it she thought there was to much egg in it,apart from that she enjoyed it immensley. We topped the meal off with pancakes for the wife and an eton mess for me. On the whole a very enjoyable experience. Will be back for more."

"I had a fantastic experience at this Italian restaurant located in the heart of old Poole. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere truly charming. Our waitress was delightful and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The menu offered a variety of consistently delicious options, catering to all tastes. The chef is incredibly talented! "This place has gone completely downhill. I've been a customer in here for years and I won't be back after the service I have received today. The waitresses were inattentive. We had to ask for cutlery after our food was served. We had to ask for drinks twice. When the bill came we had been overcharged. The waitress stood over us with the card machine impatiently, probably because she didn't want to give us time to check the bill. It was utter rudeness. I don't know if this place has changed hands, but it's definitely not the place it used to be."

"We searched for a well established restaurants and all the brilliant reviews on Tripadvisor helped us settle on this one. Here are some things we'd like to share with you: Lovely little restaurant on the seafront Staff were attentive and friendly Menu was nice and simple with great choices We received a bread basket with butter Wine was very nice indeed Food was well presented, however were disappointed in the seasoning of the food and found it to be bland, needing to use the salt and pepper Although there were no prices for food on the website, giving the impression it would be very expensive it was not too bad at all (price wise). Not overpriced, which was nice. It's difficult to know if the food was deliberately under seasoned, so you can put your own on, or if they just didn't hit the seasoning quite right on this occasion."

"On a Wednesday evening, my experience at the a la carte restaurant was disappointing as it was full. The decor was nice, but the tables were too small and the lighting was too bright, which affected the atmosphere. The Antipasto-Sharing-Platter was huge and had the best mozzarella I've ever had. The risotto was excellent, but the lobster Special was just okay and lacking in ingredients. Things took a turn for the worse when the desserts were subpar and the marsala wine we were served was clearly corked and filled with sediment. The service was attentive and polite, although a bit intrusive at times. The wine list was good and we enjoyed the wines we chose. Overall, it was a decent meal, but there were definitely some disappointments."

"Went here for the first time and had a full English Breakfast. It was really well cooked and you can swap items around. They staff are really accommodating, i swapped toast for fried bread and tomato for hash brown. 9 out of 10 for food and staff are very friendly and helpful, also 9 out 10. Vegetarian options: Omelette Parking: Disabled parking right outside. However, it's normally quite busy. Wheelchair accessibility: It may be a tight fit for a wheelchair, but staff will go out of their way to make space. Access is completely flat so no problem there."

"Dined here this evening hoping it would be good as we had read some excellent reviews on TA. Ordered garlic and cheese focaccia (actually was more like garlic and barely bread) asked for it to be crispy, ended up cremated, but actually unlike me didn’t make a fuss as it was the eve of my birthday so just ate the edges. My partner seemed to enjoy his fish stew. I opted for the chicken, mushroom and nduja risotto. I asked the waitress what it was and she said it was like salami, what she neglected to tell me was that it was packed with chilli and nearly blew my shirt off. Needless to say I couldn’t eat it as I hate anything spicy. The owner asked what was wrong and he came out with the spice paste and I explained what she told me, but it completely went over his head. It would have been nice if they would have offered a complimentary coffee which we paid for or the ice cream I ordered to cool my mouth down, but he didn’t. He also was pushing for people to order their deserts as he wanted to close early as he had to pay staff for more than needed. No sweetener at all, not surprised the restaurant was quiet."

"This small lunch spot was a pleasant surprise! What started as a lunch for 3 colleagues turned into a group of 7 when we walked in. Soprano looks small from the outside, but it's actually quite spacious with hidden seating at the back. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly server who promptly seated us and handed us menus. The menu had a great selection of piadinas, paninis, sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes, with unique fillings and toppings that you wouldn't find at chain cafes or pubs. There were also plenty of drink options, including iced teas, alongside the standard teas and coffees. Our gluten-free colleague was well taken care of as well. The service and food quality were excellent, and the prices were fair for the delicious food we received. Besides lunches, this gem of a find also offers mouthwatering cakes and has a liquor license. We were thrilled to have found this place and regretted not discovering it sooner. Fortunately, it's just a few minutes away from our office so we'll definitely be returning."

"The restaurant offers delicious food, excellent service, and high-quality ingredients at affordable prices. The only downside is that there are limited tables and it can get noisy at times. They offer a variety of vegetarian options such as pizza, salads, pasta, and risotto, and cater to dietary restrictions by labeling allergens. The dine-in service is perfect for lunch, with prices ranging from £10 to £20 per person."
