"Wow, what a place. I've been in a hell of a lot of coffee/cafes in my time but this place to me takes top of the league. The staff are absolutely fantastic always taking your orders with a happy smile and a welcome greeting. The food and drinks we had were fantastic, good homely cooking. The toilet was well cared for very clean. We have used this place a few times now as we stopped off in our boat in the marina opposite the Deli. The Deli has wonderful views across Poole harbour to Brownsea island. Would we come back to the Deli? Most definitely looking forward to our next visit next year."

A great place for breakfast or lunch. They have lovely pies, I had one with feta cheese and spinach. Good quality and nice atmosphere.

We dropped in to get out of the wind, lovely staff and amazing food and drinks. You need to visit and the prices are reasonable considering it’s location x

I waited at the counter for 5 minutes staff ignored me before I was then ordered to stand in exactly the right spot 2’ from where I was standing otherwise I wouldn’t get served. I didn’t stay!

One of the best club sandwiches I've ever had, topped off with amazing chocolate cannoli. More than happy to pay a small amount more and support local when the quality is this good. Recommended to anyone visiting Poole. View menu

We call into the Deli 3 to 4 times a week for a coffee, snack or breakfast and never been disappointed. Sit outside in the sun or sit in the window seats and watch the world go by. Lovely views over the harbour to Brownsea Island.

Had a lovely brunch this morning good choice but limited supply of savoury pastries Sat inside as the outside tables were full lovely views over Poole Quay and the harbour. If you sit inside it is very noisy with the clatter of crockery and the fire alarm test going off 10 times an hour on a Tuesday morning left early because of this

I have been here for lunch several times and for breakfast once. The food tastes great, with good quality ingredients and fresh food. I love their choices of salads that you can order with a lot of the meals. I’ve been with a few different people and they always love it too. It’s reasonably priced and the views are fab on a sunny day. My go to place for lunch In Poole. View menu

Quite possibly the best full English I have had, would of been the best if they had some black pudding, but unfortunately today they didn’t.. we did get some extra bacon though, which was really tasty. The ham hock bubble and squeak was epic. Also they provided playdo, which entertained the children while we waited for breakfast, great little touch. Service was faultless and the staff were very friendly!!

Wife and I called in at 11.10 on a Tuesday morning for coffee's but had just missed breakfast which finishes at 11.00am. Staff/team were brilliant, friendly and helpful and in addition to our coffee's and instead of breakfast they suggested a bacon/sausage sandwich. Served at our table, with a smile. I highly recommend a visit where you can sit inside or outside, in or out of the sun and have a fantastic break and refreshments.

"Booked a table of 5 for my birthday dinner. We were promptly seated then immediately asked for drinks orders before even being offered a drinks menu or water. After we had ordered drinks we were being rushed into ordering some food, every two minutes different waiters coming and asking if we are ready to order (at least 7 times). After we did order and the food was brought out, we were then just forgotten about and nobody came over anymore to check if we needed any more drinks (4 out of 5 glasses were empty) or if the food was ok. (It was- but no one checked). After we had finished dining, we still had empty glasses and had to wait 20+ minutes until we eventually stopped a waiter walking past and asked if we could order more drinks. The drinks then took another 15 minutes to come. It was also very disappointing that although we had mentioned on the booking itself that it was for my birthday, there was no acknowledgement of this (I have been before and had received a plate with ‘happy birthday’ written on it in some kind of sauce with a sparkler). My sister even went to ask the woman working on the front desk and received a standoffish attitude back saying no. When the £235 bill came, it even listed ‘birthday plate £0.00’ on it!!! That really let the evening down. The interactions with the staff themselves were great, they were very polite and personable but the actual level of service of being rushed to order and then totally forgotten about really dampened what could have been a fantastic evening."
