"We visited here for breakfast on my husband 's birthday. Overall it was nice food but ultimately overpriced and small portions with OTT service in the wrong ways We were seated in quite an awkwardly placed table for a family with 2 infants in highchairs, right in a central area where i felt like I was constantly getting squished against and plates and hot drinks too close to my children upon serving to other tables. There was a table next to us at the window which would have been better placed so the kids were out the way. Sercice was odd, all really friend, some server 's a bit more amateurish than others. We were asked 3 or 4 times if our drink order had been taken and again about specials, including after we gave our order the waiter told us the specials again weirdly. They forgot my irn bru I had ordered but I just left it as my tea was enough. They never proceeded to ask if we needed anything else once our meal arrived either. We had a full breakfast and the waffles. My breakfast was nice but could have had a bit more for the price but good quality ingredients. My husband 's waffles, or 'waffle ' should I say was veryyy small. He actually thought they forgot the waffles upon them serving it but found said waffle under the bacon. He was ultimately still hungry as he expected at least 2 waffles to be included given it says waffles. They accidentally charged us for my tea as it was included in the breakfast and we were also both charged 95p for oat milk which is the most I 've ever been charged, usually it 's 50p max. Ultimately we won 't be back which is a shame as it was a lovely restaurant with nice food but the service was awkward, expensive £28 for breakfast for 2 was pricey considering my husband was still hungry afterwards that he stopped to get a roll."

"I went to this restaurant for breakfast on a Sunday. The menu selection was excellent. We ordered one classic breakfast plate and one vegetarian plate with specific requests. We were able to customize our plates without any issues. Each plate also came with a standard hot drink. The americano we had was exceptional. The price of £21.80 for two cooked meals and drinks, located right outside Haymarket railway and tram station, was great value. The staff were very friendly as well."

"Went here for the first time to celebrate sisters birthday and the staff were lovely! Food was nice and service was quick. They brought out my sisters dessert with a small candle ontop and sang happy birthday without prior notice (we were asked if we were celebrating any special events when we were waiting on food coming and that was how they knew). Service charge was added but I didnt mind from the quality service we got. Would recommend!"

"Over the past 5 years i have visited this restaurant a good amount of times with both my fiancé and members of/my family. I hadn’t visited since 2021 so my fiancé and I decided to visit for my birthday today. Perfect evening. I started with the “meaty bruschetta” it was beautiful steak with cheese and honey mustard on bruschetta bread.. possibly the best starter I have ever had. Damn. I usually always have pizza. As I did tonight. Absolutely perfect… It’s the best pizza you’ll get in a restaurant in the UK. Tonight i shared half of my partners pasta with meatballs and it was beautiful. The sauce was so thick. Portions are great, just the right amount. I have never had a bad dish, let alone meal here. Also, the owner always comes around at the end of the night to speak briefly with each table, ensuring your meal was to expectations, which is so lovely. He’s a Valentino Rossi fan, which is also a bonus, and although I didn’t get to ask him about it today, he used to have a pretty awesome motorbike lovely family run restaurant. Cant recommend enough."

"I was out with a group of 10 people and we had one of the best restaurant experiences in a long time! the service was absolutely top notch all the time. the food was delicious and we could not believe what was a reasonable price the whole meal and drinks! probably the best carbonara I had. the personal even went out of the way to help us celebrate the birthday of our friend. we can't wait to come back."

"Fantastic, cosy little restaurant nestled down a little side street at the back of St Julian's church. The place is full of character, the service is excellent, the wine lovely and the food scrumptious. We would definitely go back next time we are staying in the area. We shared a gorgeous aubergine and gorgonzola based starter followed by seafood carbonara for my gf and a tomatoe based spaghetti with garlic, chilli, capers and olives for me. The cheesecake and tiramisu were just as good to round off a perfect meal. All very reasonably priced too."

"It's always a pleasure to visit this restaurant. We've been eating here for more than twenty years and the service is always polite and friendly. Most importantly, the quality of the food is consistently excellent. In more recent years, there has been a focus on the presentation of the food and the decor of the building. "First visit and will be last.. went from excellent to disappointed within half an hour of being there… the starters were nice loved it!! The mains were nice at first but eating.. me being me when the waitress came over first time asking how was...the food and I was like yeah good.. but after some bites later the garlic in the risotto just took over was just overpowering.. I asked if it’s possible to take it home and she was like no it’s sea food we are not allowed.. if can’t take it home why is it on just eat menu.. I just don’t understand the logic.. then I was like I can’t eat it it’s just over powering with garlic all you could taste was pure garlic might aswell given me a garlic clove instead of the risotto. The waitress literally gave me attitude and was like “you should of said something first time round and we could of done something about it” so I spent on a lovely starter! She seen my plate was still full hardly touch didn’t even offer like knock some price on it (I work in hospitality aswell) The other staff was nice just the one (iasmia) who needs to control her face expressions and attitude when talking to guests when there’s situation like that!"

"We’ve been coming to Bobolis for 5 years now and the last few visits have been poor. Every time we come with our son, we’ve been put all alone on another side of the restaurant away from everyone else so there’s no atmosphere. The waitress wasn’t friendly and didn’t even acknowledge my baby. When another table came with a baby she was acknowledging them straight away. The food was ok but over priced for what we got. We’ve noticed the prices have gone up but the food isn’t better and service definitely isn’t worth it. Such a shame as we didn’t feel welcome and weren’t asked if the food was ok or if we wanted any more drinks. Edit; after emailing management we visited again and this time had a very different experience. Food and service were both spot on."

"This restaurant truly offers amazing food. They take special care to accommodate coeliac needs, with a dedicated gluten-free section in the kitchen and a wide variety of gluten-free options on the menu. They strive to create a safe environment, and we certainly felt secure dining there. It's important to mention that while not all pasta varieties are gluten-free, they are more than willing to make substitutions as needed. The food was excellent, and the lasagna, in particular, was outstanding. The desserts were also delightful, featuring gluten-free cannoli and cake that we sadly didn't have room for. That's definitely something to look forward to for our next visit! This is a dining choice that caters to gluten-free requirements without sacrificing flavor. We will definitely be back!"

"Amazing restaurant. We made a reservation for my husband's birthday and what a delight. we had a garlic pizza bread starter to share which has options to add various toppings, ours included tomatoes, parmesan, balsamic vinegar, delicious. Mains were a beautifully cooked fillet medium rare, I was told by the waiter (very polite and good service) that chef would refuse to cook if I wanted it cooked any more than medium rare. I like this approach and I see why he said it. The steak was stunning. My husband had the pork very delicious. Somehow we fitted in desert too. Will definitely be coming back. The only reason I put 4 star on atmosphere was at times the music reminded me, at times of my younger drinking days. Although it was quiet and we booked on line I can imagine it getting busy. Very good restaurant and are looking forward to visiting again for pizza next time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"What a great setting! Overlooking the marina and floor to ceiling glass windows. The restaurant had only a few customers when we arrived. Perhaps we were early but the place was pretty empty. Our waitress seemed to be in training and didn't really make us feel welcome. We ordered appetisers and waited. Our drinks arrived and we began to eat. Having been a regular customer a few years back, at one of the nicest and authentic Italian Bottalinos, in Emersons Green we were beginning to feel that the magic had disappeared and this wasn't authentic italian. My serving of bruschetta looked thrown together, not chef made! Poorly made, over salty, under herby and lacking in the sunshine of Italy. We were not offered extra pepper or parmesan. The next table had to ask for it. The service didn't extend to us. Check back didn't happen. On arrival of the main course it was obvious that the standards of preparation had dropped considerably. My pizza goat was on a thin crust but it was undercooked so unpleasant to eat. The topping was feeble and again without the Italian authenticity expected. The ragu ordered by my husband was bland and brown. As above, no extra parmesan or pepper was offered. No check back was made. I couldn't finish the pizza goat as I wasn't enjoying it. We took it away in a box. It was later binned. We also had difficulty getting the waitress to bring us water. Not sure what was going on. The restaurant wasn't busy. Overall, very disappointing and we won't return there. The prices are for high quality Italian food and we expected a bit of Italian style and atmosphere. So it's very disappointing to see the state of things here."

"Excellent little restaurant in the heart of Lytham with parking easy enough to find very close by. The food was amazing one of the very best meals I've ever had. Main menu choice was excellent as well as a selection of several specials. Service from the staff was superb, who were extremely attentive. Not anyones fault, but our table was next to the door and it was a cold night so kept getting a cold draught whenever it opened which was pretty regularly as there is also seating outside. Staff immediately close the door behind them, but some customers failed to. Will definitely return recommend. Brilliant."
