"This restaurant offers high-quality food with a diverse menu that includes both Western and Indian dishes. The service is excellent, and the facilities are modern, making it great value for the experience. I highly recommend it if you're staying at the new Novotel Hotel."

"My group of four had a fantastic lunch at Mint and Mustard while exploring the village. We took the water taxi from Cardiff castle, visited the beautiful St. Augustine church on the hill, and then made our way to Pernath. The display menu at Mint and Mustard offered more than just traditional Indian dishes, so we decided to give it a try. Since it was the off season, we received great service from the host right away. The curries, Buddha bowls, masala, tea, cocktails, and okra fries were all amazing! I wish I could bottle up every sauce and take it home. The food was out of this world! Overall, we rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5."

"amazing service and love to detail in something unusual environment that still work well to create a very relaxed atmosphere. excellent and authentic eating from South India, prepared by an impressive kitchen staff under the guidance of the charming and very talented avi shashidhara (ex river cafe). we loved the precursors of roti filled with Dorset-Cab and the Papadi chat. also the mains were amazing: wild sea bass steamed in a banan leaf raw mango, minze, coriander paper-thin dosa (pancake,) strewn with turnip carrots sambas, curkupfer. a fabulous melting crucible of taste and taste, which we have never experienced outside of indies that hit the tastes and bring a smile to the face. we were disappointed that there was no more cheesecake, but the carrotenhalwa was an absolutely delicious alternative. already booked to come back. that will be a solid favor! I want to visit the mother-in-law in the cellar! had a visit and it looks authentic and welcoming!"

"We are a family from Sweden with two young kids and had dinner at Chutney. Food was fine but we hated the ambience and the service. Restaurant is so bland and empty that there was a lot of echo when people were talking. It became very noisy due to this and was hard to talk. The waiters were in some kind of hurry as they were not ready to wait for even 5 min to let us decide the drinks and when we decided they gave us wrong drink we were ordering mango lassi but that was finished so waiter suggested lemonade but we got sprite instead of lemonade. When we said it was wrong we wanted lemonade then he said no it was not available As mentioned earlier, It seemed they were in hurry and even though kids had food in their plates they wanted to clear the table. We did not feel Welcome at all and will never go there again."

"This restaurant is not worth the hype or the high prices. Our table was unfortunately located next to the cooking area, resulting in strong and overpowering cooking smells. The shared Indian platter we ordered as a starter was disappointingly deep fried, greasy, and tasted like it had been frozen. The naan bread and rice were the only saving grace. The Chicken Makhani dish lacked flavor and tasted like canned tomato soup, and was lacking in spice. At £24 per serving, it was definitely not worth the cost."

"Incredibly tasty food, lovely staff, very reasonable prices considering the quality of the food. We popped in late night on a Sunday not long before the kitchen closed, half expecting to be turned away (we wouldn’t usually do this and were sure to be out before closing time), and wouldn’t have been offended if they did, but I’m glad they didn’t because this was the best curry we’ve had for a while. We shared a lamb rogan josh, kadahi chicken, pilau rice and cheesy naan and would enthusiastically recommend all of it. Generous portions of the curries with plenty of meat and sauce and the naans were fresh and tasty without being stodgy, the perfect curry. Absolutely delicious and if we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely be returning. Thanks!"
