"This restaurant is not worth the hype or the high prices. Our table was unfortunately located next to the cooking area, resulting in strong and overpowering cooking smells. The shared Indian platter we ordered as a starter was disappointingly deep fried, greasy, and tasted like it had been frozen. The naan bread and rice were the only saving grace. The Chicken Makhani dish lacked flavor and tasted like canned tomato soup, and was lacking in spice. At £24 per serving, it was definitely not worth the cost."

The staff at this restaurant is friendly and knowledgeable, providing fantastic service. The seating is comfortable and the restaurant is spacious. It's worth paying a little extra for the high-quality produce and food.

What beautiful surroundings. A lovely place, and I actually tasted green olives for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed them. We only had a cocktail in there then headed to the Glendevon for afternoon tea. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View menu

We had dinner at this restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. The staff was very attentive. My wife and I enjoyed the Indian thali sharing platter, which was a delicious feast that left us very full. It was excellent value for the price. The only downside was that my seat was quite close to the kitchen, making the environment a bit warm.

A sumptuous lounge bar exquisitely decorated in the spirit of the luxury of bygone years and with the charm of the Art Deco Style. For my birthday, a high-flying aperitif with an absolutely dizzying choice of drinks on the menu and personalized, neat and attentive service, in the purest Scottish tradition. Thank you to our friends Bill and Gillian for introducing us to this magnificent timeless institution.

"We stumbled across this place on the last night of a fortnight in Scotland and couldn 't be more glad that we did and that they had space. We were seated promptly (underneath the fan thankfully considering the heatwave), asked whether we 'd eaten there before (we hadn 't), had the menu explained to us (suggested 3 tapas per person) and then left alone briefly to consider the menu. Once ordered, drinks were delivered in a timely fashion, followed by breads dips to tempt tide us over until our tapas arrived. It wasn 't very quick, but I didn 't think it was unduly long either just the right length of time for non fast food that is being prepared freshly. And when it arrived, we were delighted as it was delicious! The only slight disappointment was that salted cod wasn 't available, but that was soon forgotten. My personal favourite was the poached chorizo in red wine with honey glaze, but we were happy with all of our options (patatas bravas, haggis balls, pinchas de pollo, spinach chickpea stew, haddock in red pepper sauce and Spanish tortilla the latter really made by the spicy tomato salsa on the side). 5 between the two of us would probably have sufficed, which would have meant I had space for one of the ice creams, but in hindsight, I 'm glad I didn 't. Excellent service, delicious food, our best meal of our holiday. We probably won 't be back (living in Birmingham and all) but definitely would if we were local."
