"I paid £3.50 to visit the Beatrix Potter exhibition. I was not brought up with the stories but I know they are incredibly popular. There is plenty information to read up on and it is an excellent resource giving a time and historical viewpoint. At the time of visit I could see some children colouring in drawings which had obviously been provided. I enjoyed my visit and they have a very nice little gift shop which is well stocked. The staff were very helpful."

It was a really hot day when I visited and the place was like an oven so not very comfortable. Lovely stock in the shop but a bit expensive. If you like Beatrix Potter, it is worth a visit.

Wow! Nice cafe and a beautiful little shop. But the best of all: The most friendly people you could imagine. We asked to have a bill changed to have some coins for the air pump at the gas station but instead we got a pump! God bless you!

Excellent cafe with lovely staff in a lovely airy building, and outdoor seating. They did us a delicious packed lunch for our hill walk, and we also went back another day for a sit in lunch. Amazing cakes try the vegan chocolate tiffin or the lemon drizzle cake with a coffee. Scrumptious! Also not nearly as busy as cafes across the water in Dunkeld. Would definitely recommend.

"We stumbled across this place on the last night of a fortnight in Scotland and couldn 't be more glad that we did and that they had space. We were seated promptly (underneath the fan thankfully considering the heatwave), asked whether we 'd eaten there before (we hadn 't), had the menu explained to us (suggested 3 tapas per person) and then left alone briefly to consider the menu. Once ordered, drinks were delivered in a timely fashion, followed by breads dips to tempt tide us over until our tapas arrived. It wasn 't very quick, but I didn 't think it was unduly long either just the right length of time for non fast food that is being prepared freshly. And when it arrived, we were delighted as it was delicious! The only slight disappointment was that salted cod wasn 't available, but that was soon forgotten. My personal favourite was the poached chorizo in red wine with honey glaze, but we were happy with all of our options (patatas bravas, haggis balls, pinchas de pollo, spinach chickpea stew, haddock in red pepper sauce and Spanish tortilla the latter really made by the spicy tomato salsa on the side). 5 between the two of us would probably have sufficed, which would have meant I had space for one of the ice creams, but in hindsight, I 'm glad I didn 't. Excellent service, delicious food, our best meal of our holiday. We probably won 't be back (living in Birmingham and all) but definitely would if we were local."
