The food is delicious and the owner is very friendly. They offer organic cola that tastes the same as Calippo ice cream. They are very accommodating to allergies. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We unexpectedly found this restaurant while driving back from a family vacation and it was a delightful surprise. The food was excellent, the ambiance was nice, and the staff was friendly, making us want to come back again in the future.

The service at this restaurant was slow and there was hair in the chutney. Additionally, the scone was initially served without clotted cream and marmalade. When the clotted cream was finally provided, it was not fresh and an extra charge was added. This was a first for me, as scone with clotted cream and marmalade is usually a classic combination that should not be charged separately. Despite the delicious sandwich (without hair), I would not return to this restaurant.

During my journey from Aviemore to Glasgow on my way back home from celebrating New Year up North, I visited a restaurant. After dining out at several places for lunch, dinner, and coffee in Aviemore, I was shocked to be charged £6 for a takeaway coffee. My partner, two friends, and I all enjoyed main courses and drinks, amounting to almost £100. However, the £6 charge for a coffee seemed excessive to me. I would have been willing to pay £3 or £4, but £6 felt like a total rip off.

The staff at this restaurant was a mixed bag - the older woman, who seemed to be the manager or owner, was very abrupt and unhelpful. It took a while for us to receive menus and her attitude left a lot to be desired. However, the younger girl who eventually took our order was lovely and the food was delicious. It was clear that the younger staff members were exceptional and perhaps had to make up for their boss, Julie. The older woman could benefit from some training or perhaps find a new job.

I dined at Zs Bistro with two friends on 14/09/2021 and we all ordered different dishes. The food was amazing and I have since recommended this restaurant to my friends and family. However, when I went back yesterday to treat my elderly mother to lunch, we were both disappointed. My salmon had a disgusting citrus sugary sauce and the vegetables were raw. Despite being hungry, I found it hard to finish my meal. My mother's duck was tough and the lentils were overly salty. It was the worst meal I have had in years. When I mentioned the issue with the sauce to the waiter, he simply thanked me for telling him.
