"great Scottish classic. grade: b every bit of research I had done on the taybank before our trip convinced me of the necessity to visit when we went to dark and I am very glad that we had the taybank character, looked well advertised both in the first floor bar area and in the upper floor space where we ate. because of the quality of eating and drinking, the consistent attraction of natives is understandable and is what has drawn me here. the menu offers a series of Scottish standards. her smoked salmon is great, as the “Stovies” one of which the taybank stovie is excellent with bark and a addictive horse sauce. among its real ales is head east bitter smooth and...read more"

Good variety of starters and mains. I would recommend the lentil and nut roast it was lovely. Service was good but not exceptional.

Our favourite place to eat in Dunkeld amazing that it has an entire vegan menu and the food is absolutely delicious. Can't be faulted.

ordered vegan nachos from the vegan menu and it came with milk cream fraiche. my wife is allergic and had a reaction to it. we left and didn't think they could serve a bit vegan. service was also missing. will never come back

ordered a vegan curry, served with huh. I returned it. served a new dish and halfway through eating found small chickens in it. They obviously had only reserved the same dish after they fish out the larger chickens. disgusting, I would give zero stars if that were possible.

Excellent meal enjoyed by a roaring log fire on a very dark cold night. The food was very well prepared and tasty (certainly the best Cullen Skink and Apple Sultana crumble ever tasted). The staff were very welcoming and delightful. All in all a good dining experience and excellent value for money.

our dog was treated just as we were. She got her own matte, water and tasty the personal was very friendly and attentive. good selection of veggie/bread food. modern, clean restaurant with great atmosphere. parking is located on the river on the hotel grounds directly opposite the hotel and are free of charge.

We booked to go to this restaurant when we were on holiday as the menu looked very good. Unfortunately, when the Taxi tried to drop us off, the location on the map was in fact a residential road, and when we had to the phone the restaurant to ascertain it’s location we were not only informed that the map was incorrect but in fact they were not even open in January. We were told this was not the restaurant’s fault but in fact Open Table were to blame as they were supposed to remove the listing for the month. Do not believe everything you see on the internet... you have been warned!

We dined on the Saturday evening 4 days before Valentine's day and thought it would be busy. There were only two other couples in the restaurant so there was very little atmosphere or ambience. The service was excellent. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We had 3 courses from a fixed menu with a good choice of locally sourced produce. My husband had the fish which he thoroughly enjoyed and I had the fillet steak (rare) which melted in my mouth. Overall the price we paid including drinks was very good value for a wonderful meal.
