"our restaurant in shire. incredible service, beautiful atmosphere and the French cuisine is never less than stunning. tonight our amuse beech came in the form of a mini chicken kebab with tamarindensauce, perfectly spicy enough tickling the tonge. for beginners I shared the mixed seafood plate, with a juicy grilled king prawn, super soft salmonticka and sesame heavy fish, all with swirling and artful beats of accompanying chutneys, sauces and sounds (including crispy purple mini peppered tweezers! . but as always, the showtoffer was my main beautifully boiled to pink perfection, this hunk of buttery soft stealing with carrots, pommes fondant, celeriac puree veal jus, all topped with crispy shards of crispy parsnip. on the side we also ordered spicy ginnpowder kartoffels, mushrooms with truffle and spinach and a basket crispy naan with basilikum and chili and garlic and cilantro. that is the French-Asian fusion best! chad, the chef cook was invited to master chef again and again, but he will not leave his kitchen, he is every night there to pour love into any dish he sends out, and it shows."

"However, I want to note that Niku reached out to me to discuss my concerns, and the representative I spoke with was very understanding. It turns out that the door staff were not the usual team, and I was assured they won't be hired for future events. It's important for venues to remember that their door staff reflect their reputation, and they should be careful about who they choose to hire. Overall, my experience was disappointing, with a price tag of over £100 per person for food, service, and atmosphere all rating a 1 out of 5."

"I believe the restaurant surroundings and bar makes the place look nicer than it is. It feels like due to this they believe they can charge extra. I thought the meal was average and the fee charged for the meal and drinks didn't match up to what I had. Another problem I have we restaurants such as these is that they believe the can charge cocktail bar prices. I'm happy to pay £7 for a cocktail on a night out at a swanky bare however £7 mid-week just seems a tad extortionate if you ask me."

"The food was amazing but the service really let them down. They brought out our main course over an hour after being there , and the biggest problem was we hadn't had our starter!! So main course taken away and had to wait another 20 mins for starter! They then brought out 4 starters and one of them should have been vegetarian!! We then had to wait for the vegetarian starter to be made!! Such a shame as could of been a really great night!!"

"I have walked passed this cafe several times and not noticed it, nestled next to the big Co-Op supermarket in Moseley. So, I was glad when a friend said let's meet there. It was surprisingly spacious, with a lovely ambience and a great range of goodies to eat. Freshly baked bread pastries baked onsite with a distinctively French vibe. They also offer a more extended lunch menu, plus the usual coffee variations and teas. I didn't venture out to their garden because it was drizzling with rain, but from what I could see, it looked like a nice space for warmer days. The young Black lady who served was very helpful we didn't feel pressured to leave when we were finished. I will be back! Recommended stop."

"From start to finish, our experience at this restaurant was exceptional! Tony provided excellent service, adding to the enjoyment of our meal. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented and kept hot until the last bite. We cannot remember the last time we had such a delightful dining experience. We will definitely be recommending this charming spot to anyone visiting London. Be sure to make reservations in advance - this place is too good to miss!"

"Brunch aside, which is usually quite good (like the coffee in Tusk! The food here is usually average. BUT service was very courteous and friendly, cocktails were great, and the Sharing Board is a safe option for sociable food with friends if you want to sit somewhere and pick up for an evening on the bog for a few hours. Food could and should be better, but it is still a decent option if you stay on the more basic options. In addition, they are switched on to nutritional requirements such as GF with a special GF menu on request and GF bread pizza options etc."

"Average food, average atmosphere, grumpy staff. Overall an indian restaurant with uninspired and medium cooking. Dishes looked all kind of the same: some red to brown curry with something in it. We had to pay extra for your rice I have never encountered a restaurant before where you have to pay for your rice to add to your curry. Recommended only if all other restaurants in this area are too busy..."

"Faced with last-minute New Year's plans, we were attracted by the convenient location and Mediterranean small plates menu in a pub setting. When we learned that the New Years menu was a fixed price mix of Mediterranean appetizers and traditional English roast beef or salmon, we thought that would please our party of diners so long as we could share plates and not have a full-price dinner for each person. The fixed assortment of Mediterranean appetizers included a duck pate which we asked to be substituted or removed, but the argumentative server insisted it couldn't be changed and it eventually came to the table anyway. Otherwise, the appetizers were unremarkable and proved to be the best part of the meal. After a loooong wait, the entrees of roast beef and salmon arrived. Both were extremely overcooked, slathered in unappealing sauces, and none of the accompanying vegetables were as advertised in the menu. The food quality was below that of a school lunch room. When we pointed out the differences and requested the listed Yorkshire pudding, the servers told us we must have had the wrong menus. We asked for a correct one but it was never produced. The miserable evening ground on for more than two hours with intermittent and unpleasant service from the staff. We eventually complained to the manager and he had the grace to subtract one fixed price meal from the charge. It was still an overpriced, memorably bad dining experience."

"Ordered from Just Eat, can confirm the service is wonderful, staff listened to all of my delivery notes and the order itself was spot on Naan was so fresh and delicious, one of the best I've had, and the chicken korma was fragrant and full of flavour. Defo coming to this place for my Indian takeaway from now on"

"Wow! The cheese board at this restaurant was accompanied by a selection of various wines, which was amazing. The only downside was that there seemed to be fewer staff than usual, so we couldn't have our usual table service despite having made a reservation. We had to wait at the bar to be served, which was not what we had hoped for. It turns out that there was a broken glass pane, and an employee had to take it out of the floor to wash glasses by hand. Despite the busy atmosphere, the bartender who served us was incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. He even brought our wines to our table, despite being so busy. He had long blonde hair and really went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable."

"Had food here and the carvery was fine. Bar staff were sharp and nice. the place is very big but I have never been in there late. Loads of ex footballers come to the pub for events so it has a been football following and live music. Not sure if it felt like my kinda evening venue so I never tried. Its the same sort of thing as the Bell and the Carpenter. They all start to blend one into the other with styling, menus and target markets. If its your thing go for it."

"A planned and very much looked forward to lunch left us feeling underwhelmed. The menu was amazing we had already chosen before we arrived) we had already also recommended the place to our South African friends before arrival as the photos and menu looked fabulous. Unfortunately, as we have found in other places over the summer, the service was way under par. We waited ages to be seated even though we had a reservation, I had to find someone to seat us in the end. We waited ages for someone to take our order , again I had to coax someone over. The restaurant was not understaffed but full of students and teenagers badly managed hanging around not really doing their job. In the catering trade myself and having 2 teenage daughters who work in hospitality whilst at uni , the staff need to managed and trained better. One was walking around with an iced coffee whilst we were without drinks. I think when the customers feel like they’re in the way and not welcomed as we did, they tend not to return regardless of how amazing the food is."

"slow service. when we finally served and placed our order....the waitress came back with a drink and then on to tell us there were 0/5 of the red wee available on the menu. then when we ordered food: we ordered the days special (seafood paella) she came back to tell us that it was not available now. that should have been said when we were sitting. we left without eating and an expensive £5 soaking bill for 2 softdrinks that we didn't even want, as we couldn't eat what we wanted. poesie"

"eating was amazing, but the restaurant was full and service, whether it was drinks or eating was extremely slow. we waited about an hour and half between the starters and the main courses and over half an hour we ordered both paintings. the personal was very polite. our 2 cursor meal plus poppadome to munch, while the selection of the meal and coffee for 4 people lasted over 3 hours from the arrival at 7.30 a.m. on a Friday night. one of the waiters said for the busy times in the restaurant waiting time between the curses is 45 minutes. So if they don't make up these long waiting times, they will enjoy the restaurant. if not go early when it is not as busy, between 18 pm 7pm as we have in previous places and same meal takes about 1 1/2 hours."

"Arrived (10 minutes before our table booking time) and were shown to the bar for a pre dinner drink, waited 40 minutes for someone to bring us a menu, which we had to ask for. Also had to ask for the wine list. Ordered a bottle of wine c£45 which was opened and placed in a cooler on the table, no one offered for us to taste the wine or show us the bottle before it was opened. We were expected to pour our own drinks during our meal. Ordered a second, different bottle of wine and we had to ask for clean glasses. The food itself was good although I felt the menu was very restrictive, there was not a lot of choice. Very disappointing as we have been several times before and have enjoyed the experience."

"Lovely Hotel but restaurant was empty which was a shame. Top Table menu was a bit limited but the main fish course that I had was very tasty. Unfortunately I can't say the same for dessert as it was mean't to be a chocolate fondant but came out as a dry chocolate cake. My friend had a starter instead of dessert which she said was really good. The 2 course offer comes with half a bottle of the house wine which again wasn't the nicest wine but it was drinkable. Overall very average but good price"

"Visited this wonderful restaurant 8/9/2018 and from the outset we could see that we were in for a treat. The amazing decor was inviting as was the waitress who immediately saw us to our table and offered us a drink. The drink was top notch. We then had a great guy called Noray look after us all evening suggesting what starters main meals we would like. Even had help around sorting out a special meal for one of our party who had special dietary needs. When the food arrived the portions were just right in size and very tasty. Although not everyone in the party had afters the ones that did enjoyed them very much. We were amazed at how reasonable the bill was for the excellent level of service the fantastic quality food. So to conclude the whole evening was fantastic so I give Riverside Fish Steak House a 10/10 rating. We’ll definitely return."
