"I visited stoke place with my family for afternoon tea. the anwesen has a long history and one of the most beautiful in the opposite. we ordered a afternoon tee a cream tee. to my misunderstanding was the presentation of food quality under standards. the scenes were cold, hard brittle. the cakes were not fresh, the finger sandwiches were ok. the Assam tea was not strong and quickly became cold. the teekanne were cheap and looked like the French press."

"First visit to NYC at Bawtry for a Birthday celebration nice themed bar/grill. We got a table upstairs which was nice. Would have given 5 stars for the food except they forgot the red onion which was listed in the menu as part of the Burger dish! We pointed it out and a side serving was brought. Our young hostess was very attentive and the best thing was we were not rushed during the meal. Price overall for the three of us was good. Will go back again the Burgers and pulled pork was excellent as was the starter platter food quality was excellent."

"At last the moribund menu has been refreshed! Service is always prompt and courteous. Despite the new items on the menu I was feeling a little tired and just fancied a steak. The ribeye was nice and pink if a little too fatty for the price. The tobacco onions (whatever they are) tasted alright but looked rather a mess on the plate. The older Canadian tourist at the table next to mine ventured that the fish and chips are very good ."

"Amazing food, great service. We were in the area to visit a family member and found this little gem! Sunday lunch was delicious and a lovely portion size. Try the Greek orange pie if you get the chance, I have never tasted anything quite like it!! We liked place so much we returned the following day. The menu has something for everyone, we had the crispy belly pork and seabass, there wasn't a crumb left! The specials board starter of tiger prawns with garlic and chorizo served with toasted olive bread were divine and the garlic mushrooms just as tasty. I can't recommend this place enough! I would recommend booking at a weekend as it gets very busy."

"great Scottish classic. grade: b every bit of research I had done on the taybank before our trip convinced me of the necessity to visit when we went to dark and I am very glad that we had the taybank character, looked well advertised both in the first floor bar area and in the upper floor space where we ate. because of the quality of eating and drinking, the consistent attraction of natives is understandable and is what has drawn me here. the menu offers a series of Scottish standards. her smoked salmon is great, as the “Stovies” one of which the taybank stovie is excellent with bark and a addictive horse sauce. among its real ales is head east bitter smooth and...read more"

"Had Sunday lunch @The Duchess with a group of friends and we were all impressed with how lovely and relaxed our experience was. We were allocated a great banquette table where we were able to carry out quiet conversation and each one of us really rated our food choices. The pub itself is beautiful with lofty ceilings, tinkly chandeliers, sophisticated decorating touches (paintwork, tiles, mural features) and an inviting terrace out back. And staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. None of us are local to the area but we are defintiely coming back!"

"Our first visit after a friends suggestion and we will be going again. All the staff were friendly and polite, with a special mention to Matt G who was our main server. He was fully knowledgeable about the menu and made sure everything was fully to our liking. Three of us dined and 2 had special dietary needs,This was fully indicated on the menu and the choice was certainly not limited. Food arrived hot,freshly cooked and in a timely manner. At no point did we feel that were were either waiting for food or being rushed through courses. Nothing was too much trouble and this really does make a pleasant change nowadays when dining anywhere. We were all very happy with the food and service we received and would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting good food, good service in a lovely location."

"Well what a let-down. The building itself is in an A1 location in Dunkeld, right on the bridge and with a fantastic river view, and when we booked (needlessly! I was thankful we'd managed to get a table overlooking the river; as it turned out only three tables were occupied, and after a glance at the menu I could see why. My wife and I had hoped for a quality traditional Sunday lunch but sadly it wasn't an option, and while the pizza (yes, pizza! we opted for was okay, had I known the menu was so disappointing I would have bought a pizza from the Co-Op across the road."

"today my daughter and I first visited bonbon for a brunch. the waitress, larissa was so sweet and welcoming. I can be quite fussy and she knew the menu inside and outside and made some great recommendations that proved to be perfect for us. nothing was too much annoyed. eating was absolutely beautiful. I had this banana bread sandwich, slightly grilled with fresh berries and mascarpone and my daughter had a ei and speck bagle. it was an absolute joy. our dog was made very welcome and Covid rules were thoroughly present, but not intrusive in anyway. it all came on time, and small things like the order to take and let us pay, all were done in a time-efficient way that I appreciated. a perfect visit."

"As soon as I walked in, I liked the aesthetic of the restaurant. I sat down and ordered my food with my amigos. I had the pulled brisket nachos and was surprised at the portion size, it wasn’t a small starter like most restaurants but...large, delicious and clearly fresh. I also had the Mexican lasagna which I never heard of before but it was amazing and I couldn’t finish it as it was so filling. I also had a cocktail which was good and a slush which was good too. The staff were friendly, polite and would check if we needed anything often. Overall a great experience and I would come again"

"I went to this restaurant for the first time with a friend and liked it so much that I returned later in the same week with my family. We all had a great time and my son even mentioned how tasty his burger was and recommended the Oreo milkshake. The menu offered a good variety, from light snacks to full meals. We will definitely be coming back here regularly."

"Firstly I've just seen their recent food hygiene rating is a 1 which is bad enough. Ordered the hangover burger at a bank breaking £18! Doesn't come with anything so we ordered the hangover loaded fries. Nothing loaded about them just a small basket of fries with some chicken strips on top. I also got the mac n cheese which was absolutely disgusting, never tasted anything like it. I mentioned this to the waitress who couldn't have cared less and refused to remove it from the bill. For a burger, fries a bowl of inedible mac n cheese, a glass of Pepsi and a below average coke float it was almost £40!! Really don't understand the hype of this overpriced gimmicky restaurant. I definitely won't be going back and will warn others too."

"Two main courses came with sauces but they were both scant. The ravioli was dried out on the top as though it had been sitting under the heater. I had asked for the aioli to be kept from the starter and this was needed for the chicken dish which also was lacking in sauce although it was tasty and the vegetables cooked how I like them. The burger was average. The desserts looked stylish but surprised that the caremelised pineapple was served cold as had expected it to be freshly cooked and therefore hot. Quite expensive for what was served. Definitely felt like a restaurant for captive overnight diners rather than a restaurant to visit."

"Really good South Indian food – some of it served with a bit more elegance than what you would typically expect from an Indian restaurant. We started with Chicken 65 and Beef Dry Fry, both of which were served really elegantly. Portions were smaller than in most places but really more suitable as starters that way. Both were very delicious and a good start to the meal. My partner had a really nice Masala Dosa while I had the Appam and Kuttanadan Duck Curry. This was a really delicious meal and the tangy appam bread went really well with the slightly sweet curry sauce. We had coconut rice on the side. This was okay but the coconut was in the form of roasted slices of coconut (which was also used on the beef fry started) and I think dessicated coconut would have worked better. Also, I did not manage to find any of the promised cashew nuts in there. All in all, a delicious meal and definitely a step above your typical Indian restaurant. Service was good and quite fast too."

"As someone who has worked as a waitress before, I know what a busy restaurant looks like. It took a long time for us to order drinks, with one even being served in a dirty glass. Ordering our food was also delayed. We ended up ordering too much Calamari, with the portions being uneven. The Bratbeef dish came with only two small pieces of meat. After we finished our meal, no one came to clear our table and the staff seemed to have disappeared. We had to search for them in the bar. It took a total of 3.5 hours to serve a party of four people two courses. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the service, especially since we had family visiting from Leeds with two young children."
