"Well what a let-down. The building itself is in an A1 location in Dunkeld, right on the bridge and with a fantastic river view, and when we booked (needlessly! I was thankful we'd managed to get a table overlooking the river; as it turned out only three tables were occupied, and after a glance at the menu I could see why. My wife and I had hoped for a quality traditional Sunday lunch but sadly it wasn't an option, and while the pizza (yes, pizza! we opted for was okay, had I known the menu was so disappointing I would have bought a pizza from the Co-Op across the road."

excellent eating, many vegan options and a bit different from the usual vegan chili! had vegan sticky toffe pudding- comes in the regular with ice, but they had run out of the vegan ice so made me a little obst kompott instead!

Excellent meal enjoyed by a roaring log fire on a very dark cold night. The food was very well prepared and tasty (especially the best Cullen Skink and Apple Sultana crumbs ever tasted). The staff was very friendly and charming. All in all a good culinary experience and excellent value for money.

The Riverview restaurant was closed (despite our booking being accepted and we were re- located in the hotel 's meeting place (bistro/cafe/restaurant? . No river views here, no views at all in fact as no windows. Confit Duck smelled tasted bunt although the meat was tender. Duo of salmon sole was served without any form of carbohydrates. Very insubstantial meal too expensive.

we were really surprised to see that there is a dedicated vegan menu on the back of the standard menu with many options. we had the fukini and the ravioli. my crispy ravioli was lush (deep fried pasta...mmm! but the part was small for the price. it should have been cheaper or more significant. the fesselini was also beautiful and you have a big plate. they have many vegan cheese options that they can add to one of the pizzas and yes, the vegan sticky toffee pudding and ice was amazing! Nice to sit outside the river and fast service.

On Saturday evening we dined 4 days before Valentine's Day and thought it was busy. There were only two more couples in the restaurant, so there was very little atmosphere or ambience. The service was excellent. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We had 3 courses from a fixed menu with a good selection of locally produced products. My husband had the fish he enjoyed well and I had the fillet steak (rare) that melted in my mouth. Overall, the price we paid with drinks was very good for a wonderful meal.

We booked to go to this restaurant when we were on holiday, as the menu looked very good. Unfortunately, when the taxi tried to drop us, the location on the map was indeed a residential road, and when we had to determine the restaurant, it is location we were not only informed that the map was wrong, but in fact they were not even open in January. We were told that this was not the fault of the restaurant, but in fact, Open Table was guilty as they should remove the list for the month. Do not believe everything you see on the Internet... They were warned!
