"Our first visit after a friends suggestion and we will be going again. All the staff were friendly and polite, with a special mention to Matt G who was our main server. He was fully knowledgeable about the menu and made sure everything was fully to our liking. Three of us dined and 2 had special dietary needs,This was fully indicated on the menu and the choice was certainly not limited. Food arrived hot,freshly cooked and in a timely manner. At no point did we feel that were were either waiting for food or being rushed through courses. Nothing was too much trouble and this really does make a pleasant change nowadays when dining anywhere. We were all very happy with the food and service we received and would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting good food, good service in a lovely location."

Very good quality food and attentive service in cosy atmospheric surroundings. The dining room certainly has an upmarket feel. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal and are returning next week!

Excellent food- we chose one starter and one ‘nibbles’.... wow!! So much food. But all good Chicken, chorizo and potatoes Stilton and walnut Bon Bon’s Then lamb And salmon Mat gave excellent service, so personal and great communication skills And our dog Hetty loved her lunch too!

I had a wonderful birthday lunch on Saturday. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The restaurant looks fantastic, and the staff provided exceptional service. The food was superb, especially the lamb, and the prices were very reasonable. I wish we had brought our dogs with us, as they have a dog menu that looks great. We'll definitely be back next time! We celebrated a birthday lunch on Saturday and felt warmly welcomed right from the start. The views were breathtaking, and the staff provided exceptional service. The food was outstanding, especially the lamb, which was simply superb. Surprisingly, the prices were quite reasonable. We regretted not bringing our dogs, as they would have enjoyed the dog menu. That’s definitely something to consider for our next visit!

We were kept waiting for a good few minutes when we arrived, having been told to wait by the bar in another room but once we were being looked after the service improved. The menu had good options and all 3 of us enjoyed different dishes. The dessert menu was quite different to ‘regular desserts’ and again all 3 of us enjoyed some fantastic pudding! Prices were very reasonable and the ambience was great not too noisy nor was it overly busy. Will definitely be visiting again.
