"Very spacious restaurant and we were the first customers, we were well cared for. Lacking was the fact the waiters did not understand English, I asked for a none alcoholic ginger beer and was given a none alcoholic beer, ok I took that one, we had to ask for the tables to be cleared still no other customers at this point. The ladies toilets were, not what I would say up dated, floor slippery, and not the sort of toilet I would use. Food well you have to pay for things usually with the meal, mint yogurt was mint sauce. It took 20 mins for our desert and 3 came out but the ice cream had to be asked for. Very busy restaurant, not sure how. The young English lady worked hard and very attentive when none of the waiters knew what we were wanting.shame really as first impression were good."

We didn't eat in the restaurant but had food delivered to us. Quick delivery. Good quality. If you are in the area and want a curry delivered, Neelakash is a very good choice.

We’ve visited here many times and the food is always excellent. I had a chicken and pineapple dish served in a real pineapple! We received good service with polite friendly staff. Good value for money.

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times over the last four weeks. Lovely restaurant , very pleasant friendly staff and service , but I do find the food slightly on the bland side overcooked and overspiced It really doesn’t compare with other restaurants nearby in Hertford, View menu

Excellent Indian restaurant. Lovely, intimate decor with comfortable seating and spacious dining area. Clean, modern premises, warm and welcoming staff, extensive and exquisite menu with tasty, perfectly presented cuisine, reasonably priced. For an unhurried, relaxed meal that will make you happily repeat, look no further. Simply the best Indian restaurant for miles.

Normal go to place for a great curry is the Ruby in Hertford but decided to go a little further afield this time. We made a great choice in choosing the Neelakash Restaurant. We all had different dishes and no one out of our party of six was disappointed. Food was well cooked, good portions and a very good service provided. Prices are probably a little higher then other restaurants we have tried and the beer on offer limited but would definitely revisit if I was in Ware looking for a good meal.

Went here on a recommendation from a friend. We opted for the buffet and were very disappointed. The buffet was in the back room of the restaurant, which was dark and dismal. There wasn’t much choice of food at all and what was there, was bland and overcooked. Even the Nan breads we ordered were burnt. The restaurant was empty when we got there and hardly anyone had buffet when they did arrive. Maybe food to order is better, but we won’t be going back to find out. It was quite expensive for the standard of the food too. All in all, one of the worst Indian restaurants we’ve been to. View menu

This restaurant delivers everytime! The food is delicious and presented so nicely. Myself and my family have been coming to this restaurant many times over the years and I have never had a bad experience. From the minute you walk in the owner and his staff welcome you in to the restaurant in a warm and friendly Manor. The restaurant has recently been redecorated and looks modern and sophisticated. We were a party of 13 on this occasion and we were very well looked after and nothing was too much. I can't reccomend this place enough! If you're looking for delicious, authentic Indian cuisine, this restaurant is the place. Thank you Neelakash!

The standard itinerary for a reunion a few beers followed by a curry. My friends recommended this Indian restaurant to finish the evening. What a lovely meal! The menu was intriguing, a number of standard dishes but a few twists on the usual preparation and the list of chef specials was impressive. We all enjoyed our selections. The bright green colour of the spinach and coriander sauce was a little unusual but tasted great. My garlic chilli chicken was delicious. Attentive service in a modern, light and airy space. Very relaxing. I didn’t pay for my food (no, I didn’t do a runner! so don’t know how much. But the pricing on the menu and wine list were all reasonable. If I’m in aware again, I...

"I recently moved from Stanstead Abbotts, a beautiful little village in the valley of the river Lea. At the end of the high street is this quaint little Thai restaurant that I used to walk by and always said to myself Before I leave this village, I will book a table and have a meal So said so done. On the afternoon of my move, I asked if they had a table available (on the spot) which they did not hesitate to give me. The restaurant has 2 sections, the front is the largest. I was given a table at the back, as I 'm assuming the other tables were reserved. The menu is vast, bright and colourful, with a touch of personal personality and the price points were within my budget, plus I was giving myself a treat. I ordered 4 dishes: 1. Pad Thai chicken Ginger dish, which I thought came with noodles, but didn 't 2. Crispy sweet and sour beef 3. Thai Green curry 4. Coconut rice This was accompanied by a medium size glass of Lemonade with a slice of Lemon for garnish. The Presentation was nicely served on white plates which made the colours of the food stand out. I had two waitresses, MiMi looked after me the most and frequently asked if all was well as I ate. I was quite hungry, so she said no rush. The decore in the back of the restaurant was embellished with potted plants, hanging from the ceiling with, faux red leather benched seating and whitewashed brick walls. Where I sat (at the back) felt slightly cut off from the main hub of the restaurant, which did affect my overall experience, albeit I was grateful to be given a table, at such short notice, so I reframed that circumstance. I could hear chatter in the busy kitchen, as takeaway orders, were going out, as well as seated reservations. BACK TO THE FOOD: All dishes were served hot and well presented. My Thai curry was in a bowl, that almost tipped over, not sure if that was my haste or the design of the bowl. This tasted exquisite. The flavours bounced around my pallet and the chicken was so succulent and morrish with a touch of heat! As I stated earlier, from the illustration on the menu I ordered Pad Thai, which I assumed was a noodle dish, yet when it arrived it was just chicken and ginger in a sauce. There must have been a miscommunication when I was making my order...Never mind, I had enough in front of me and wondered if my eyes were too big for my belly ! The crispy beef was OK, a little chewy! and the coconut rice was a delight. All in all, I was full and the meal satisfied my hunger. In reflection, if I was to order all over again, I would have ordered x2 THAI GREEN CURRY and I would have been happy, The bill was brought to my table promptly, after I asked for it in a nice golden ornate-looking bowl, accompanied by two pearl mints (nice touch) Now for the hard part.. The Bill I was pleasantly surprised to pay £38.35, that afternoon, excluding a service charge (not sure if that was because I was eating alone or what) If I were to give my whole experience of dining at Khunnai Thai Cuisine a mark out of Ten, I would grade it 7/10. Room for improvement: The decore in the back part of the restaurant, maybe some soft Thai music, Change the colour of the deep red Faux leather seating to something more tropical looking, Maybe an extension for outside dining, at the back (during summer) and a little less NaCl. Comments are given all in goodwill. Thank you for a tasty meal. I would definitely eat at Kuhnnai Thai Cuisine and bring my friends or family along...Next time I will book a table for the front of the restaurant, which appeared to be a more open-plan layout with a buzzing atmosphere."
