"Ate there with my family the other night and loved it; we will go back. Wonderful family-run spot. Service was warm, friendly, and professional, the best we've had at any Indian/South Asian restaurant in London. The ambience is a bit more elegant than a typical neighborhood curry house in the same price range. The food is excellent and original. The Tawa family recipe we had was delicious, as was the Butter Murg chicken. The pilau rice is excellent, and the Naan pillowy and bubbly. The food is beautifully presented. We were disappointed that they didn't have the draught beer, but perhaps that was because we arrived early in the week. Its even better than the busier Indian restaurant two doors down (which is also good, though my family found the dishes there a tad too much on the sweet side). Can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes."

"Honestly this is my favourite restaurant to eat at. Not only are the staff amazing and so helpful, the food tastes amazing, they cater for individuals with allergies and the atmosphere they have inside is nothing short of perfect. "I am from out of town, staying on business. Great side dish but terrible main. Considering its was a Chefs Special, lumps of over cooked chicken in a bland sauce. Absolute rip off. However Staff were quick to replace with my request of a small chicken tikka but still got charged with the main and then asked for a tip. If you are serving this quality food on a Thursday night as your main course for the price you are charging, you have a lot of ground to make up. This place seems to be on the thin end of the wedge. I would not recommend."

"We plan to have take away food and thought to get in Tulasi but for takeaway restaurant the price is equal to dine in. Prices for Nan and paratha they are charging 3.40 which is very expensive and size is not so big and average chapati size. We spent 18 one curry and three bread-kemma paratha . I believe if they revised the prices they will get more customers because definitely I will not got second time to buy the food it is not worth to spend. We order lamb tikka rogan, Curry is average taste and lamb is not soft and not cooked well. To be honest we felt the it taste like onion and tomato curry. My rating for this restaurant 3/5"

"I did make a reservation but really didn't need it as we were the only ones in the restaurant, we opted for the all you can eat menu. to be honest the difference between the buffet style and normal menu price wise is minimal, we compared with what we had to the normal menu and it was only £3.50 less. the only thing is the buffet menu is very limited (basic). The portions are very good and Allan the host bagged up our left overs to take away which they don't normally do for buffet lunch. They run tribute nights which we will book in the future as the acts seem quite good plus they do girls night, prosecco all night and a lads night(cobra lager) i would like to go to an evening seating to give a full review but this restaurant can be interesting."

"Sipsons is quite simply one of the best Indian restaurants around. Any time we're in the Heathrow area, we always try to visit. The staff is so welcoming and accommodating with dietary requirements or recommendations. And even though we only swing by a few times a year, they remember my favorite dish. We often run events nearby, and we always decide last minute to take the staff and some of our guests on a Sunday evening. They consistently manage to seat all 10 of us and deliver amazing food with no advance notice. The food is of exceptional quality, packed with so many layers of flavor, and each dish is delightfully distinct. And OMG, their Hari Mirch or Dhansak is heavenly; and I always choose the Saag Rice to accompany. I've never had a bad meal in the years I've been going. I only wish it was closer as I'd be in there every week. And big up the lads working there top people."

"The best balti in all of Great Britain. We have been coming here for 15 years, and last night I brought my girlfriend along. We had a fantastic time, the staff were as welcoming and friendly as ever. The food was delicious and very affordable. We ordered katlama, chicken pakora, chicken balti, huh jalfrezi, two naans, and a side of rice, all of which were excellent. For dessert, we had gul road jamun and chocolate barfi. The total bill came to £27, what a great deal!"

"I frequently order from this restaurant when I'm feeling lazy and craving good Indian food. It's the best Indian restaurant in Canterbury in my opinion. Each dish is consistently hot and flavorful. The orders typically arrive on time or close to it, so no complaints there. Whenever I order more than 2-3 dishes, they always throw in a free sweet curry as a bonus, which I love. The service is great and the dining experience is simply exquisite. The prices are reasonable and overall, I highly recommend this place. "...because this place used to be great and I'm worried it's going downhill. We often visited this place and got takeaways regularly and it was one of our favourite restaurants. But we went recently having not been back for a while and it really was not a good visit. It was a Friday night, we were the second couple in there. First change was that they no longer have a wine menu, the choice is red or white though we were quite relieved it hadn't gone dry! . Later a table came in and were allowed to bring their own bottle- I wish this had been advertised as we would definitely have done that! The food menu was much reduced from what it used to be- some of the main dishes we used to enjoy are no longer on there. My sister ordered a salmon dish for main- the staff member had to come and explain that she only had enough salmon for one portion and the table next to us had ordered that too- so both parties had to settle with half salmon, half some other fish. Low stock levels on a small menu is a concern. And note these were the two tables who were the first ones in that night. As the restaurant started to fill up the service became slower and slower. We sat with our finished starters for a long time. When the mains came my sister's fish dish was a very small amount- and we think maybe one small piece of salmon! As we were being served I pointed out that I had also ordered some sticky rice- she said it was just coming but I didn't see her go and check- I never got my sticky rice : So my sister of the small main portion then had to share her rice with me. I tried to get the server's attention but by that point the restaurant was full and it was impossible to even catch her eye. The table next to us had to physically get up and try and catch the person to get their bill and we also had to wait a long time to try and get ours. There were two takeaways while we were there- they also seemed to have to wait ages for their food. I did point out I didn't get my sticky rice so she removed that from the bill, but no concession for the change in fish dish. It's such a shame as it's best this place is great but they just need some help. They did not have the capacity for a full restaurant and takeaways. Despite clearly struggling they kept seating people. The food is really good but your experience is ruined by the service and constantly having to chase someone for something missing. It's also cash only- but they do warn you of this."

"I would say they do best biryani around east London wherever I have eaten and even other dishes are quite good as well but not all of them. I am giving 3 stars just for the biryani but the staff and their service is pathetic. They don't even have a clue about customer service. It's like the management just picked somebody who every cost him less money and don't have any education or any kind of skills even the guy standing behind the till. We always go their for biryani and I think that's their backbone. If the biryani's standard goes down, I bet you that the place would be for sale within few months. So my advice is give the staff some sort of training and make sure they don't smell horrible when at work as it is against food and hygiene."

"My wife and I called in one evening by chance after many months away due to the lock down. It wasn't that busy being mid week so it was cosy and intimate . We both had a lamb dish that was amazing and some rice. The service was attentive but not obtrusive from a buzzy friendly waiter that made you feel at ease and at home ready for your meal. Prices compare more or less to other fine dining restaurants. It can get busy weekends apparently . Yes I highly recommend it, go you won't be disappointed"
